Help with simple strawberry gummy bear?
submitted about 9 years ago by im_10xer_bro

I tried 70vg/30pg with:

  • 7% TFA Ripe Strawberry
  • 7% TFA Gummy Candy
  • 1% Koolada

but even after steeping for a week it doesn't taste like much

1% Koolada would really kill most of the taste. I generally keep it between 0.5-0.75%. Start low with the Koolada and add more if you feel it needs more later. I'd also look into INW Strawberry Shisha or FA Red Touch (Strawberry) at half that % if you're looking for more flavor. Props on keeping your recipe simple though.

I really think TFA strawberry over strawberry rope will help you here. Iced vaped the single flavour while eating gummies and it was identical. Even the smell.

If anyone else agrees with me, maybe you can chime in about the percentages.

Maybe also some 'sour'?

Try normal TFA Strawberry and use Swedish Gummy instead of Gummy Candy. ~4% Swedish Gummy is nice.

What is your setup like? There's a very good chance that's way too much Gummy Candy for it. Also, do you have any other strawberry flavors?

I would say the gummy is probably muting everything else. Try dropping he gunny candy down to 1 or 2 percent, that's usually the range I see it used in

I cannot find a gummy flavor I like to vape. They all taste great in solution, but for whatever reason I have an aversion to vaping them. All the gummy flavors I have tried have a similar chemical taste in my opinion. I own and have tried these flavors alone & in mixes;

-Swedish Gummi (TPA), Red Licorice (TPA), Peach Gummy (FLV), Gummy Candy (TPA), and even Jelly Candy (CAP).

I only keep these around for friends who like them. My wife specifically enjoys the Peach Gummy (FLV) alone. I do make a strawberry gummy for her as well which utilizes INW Shisha Strawberry + TPA Ripe Strawberry.

I just got real flavors sour gummy. Haven't tried it yet but I will do a review on it soon. May be decent.

I generally use half ripe and half regular in all my recipes. I find it a nice balance of the two.

INW Shisha Strawberry is going to give you a much more Candy taste. I recommend using that instead of Strawberry ripe

How about cap Strawberry sweet?

I've found gummy candy to show up the best around 2% and I'd swap ripe out for more of a candy flavor, like cap sweet strawberry, jungle flavors sweet strawberry, inw shisha strawberry to name a few. And thats so much koolada, I think you could live without it completely. When I use koolada I do 1 drop per 10 ml. 2 drops is real strong. Could also add in some marshmallow at 1%

reddit!

This popped into my head, just remember seeing it.

Don't know how much help it will be, but it as about getting a gummy candy like flavour from INW Cactus and some super sweet.
