All my mixes (bronuts, mustard milk, etc.) taste way better than they. Some liquid collects on my driptip and I can taste all the flavors there, but the vape itself tastes very muted in comparison.
Using a Serpent Mini with a 28g ni80 / 32g kanthal fused clapton (0.55 ohms at 60 watts) if that matters
The serpent mini is actually a really good flavor tank, you should be doing just fine without dripping. However it really is not a high wattage tank, and 60w is high for it. It is very small and the airflow is not designed for that. I know some run it higher but at the very best wide open it gives you a pretty restricted lung hit compared to other higher wattage tanks.
Do all of your mixes not give a taste ever, even on the first hit? Does it take time?
Tanks mute flavor switch to Dripping I'll never go back to tanks
I would have concurred but recently got a Limitless +. Flavor and clouds comparable to a dripper. However, if I were not doing DIY I would not be able to afford the operating costs, as that sucker plows through juice.
It's your coil that plows through juice, not the tank.
Idk only dripper I have is a tsunami and personally I think the Crown tank has better flavor!
>Idk only dripper I have is a tsunami
While it's still a nice rda in my experience the airflow can mute the flavor a lot unless it's cranked up to 70+ watts and starts giving off a warmer vape.
Not necessarily. I have the Kayfun 5 and it delivers a lot of flavour.
I would have to agree on this one I don't have it but as I understand it is a totally different style of tank personally I've been burned by tanks so many times now I just can't invest more money and something I don't have faith in producing the same flavor
I'm running a similar fused clapton build on my serpent mini and the flavor is fantastic. There are a lot of factors that will play into the overall taste, such as the wicking, coil placement, how wide the airflow is, and the wattage. I'd recommend getting your coil as close to the deck airflow hole as possible without the leads touching the bottom, trying lower wattages (I feel comfortable at around 25-30 watts), and tightening the airflow a bit.
I actually find a simple 2x26g twisted coil to produce better flavor than a fused clapton.
Try a different build, but 0.55ohms at 60w sounds like alot. I run my goblin mini at 0.2ohm, 60-70watts.
BUT! I recently got an Avocado 22 from geekvape. It's terrific. Same build there, 6wrap 2x26g twisted. 0.27ohms. I like it.
Edit: also don't forget that both nicotine and PG are great for improved flavor.
