In your opinion,for the following flavors,what brand/type would be the closest to fresh,ripe fruit?
Peach
Red apple (pink lady/cripps pink or honey crisp if anyone gets thats specific)
Strawberry
Id prefer it to be vg based,but i can deal otherwise.....ive never actually mixed yet but the most important thing would be smoothness,i cant stand harsh/raspy juice.
Medicine Flower real fruit extracts are what you are after. They are highly concentrated so they are worth the price. Personally i buy mine from ECX as buying them direct from MF will get you shorted by a couple ML. At ECX they are called Lotus.
That's odd,you would think that regardless of order size they would want to keep customers happy.
Yeah, they are total assholes. We went round and round with them over on ELR. They really dont want our business so im quite surprised that ECX is able to stock them. Them Gremlins have tried to do so, im pretty sure Rich said he didnt get a reply, im not positive on that tho. The brain starts to do some weird shit as you get older..
What their rep told us to do was to place an order and ask for samples of that order. How stupid is that? Still tho, they make a great product.
I have played most with raspberry and peach flavours, and I can say without a doubt that Flavorah's peach is by far my favourite for its authenticity. It's perfect! FA white peach is likely my second, or tied with INW peach.
I've got some FLV Peach mixed up as a single flavour at a few percent. Pretty decent solo flavour too.

I've only vaped a few mL of it and that was about a week after mixing it. I picked up a bad head cold a few days after that and haven't had a chance to taste it again now that I've got my sense of smell and taste back. It's just hit the four week mark so it will be interesting to see how it's aged, will have to try it when I get off work tonight.
No clue about peach, sorry! But I've heard that they tend to be harsher than most flavours.
FA Apple is more of a red apple but I would recommend FA Fuji Apple over just apple, it tastes kind of like a crisp red/green hybrid.
TFA Strawberry ripe tastes like a real strawberry to me and is a crowd favourite around the diy community.
Would that tfa ripe be kinda like what black axis uses?(if youve had it)the way it smelled when i first opened the bottle of streach,the scent of strawberries that were just getting mushy was dominant....not in a cloying sorta way but damn it smelled like the real thing.
INW and FA probably has some of the most authentic tasting fruits out there.
Except INW watermelon. Jesus christ, steer clear of that.
FA is where it's at for authentic tasting fruits IMO. A lot of them do seem to require a short steep though for the harshness to disappear, particularly FA Apple Fuji.
For strawberry however, TFA Strawberry Ripe is a nice fresh, earthy tasting strawberry, which is nice, but I find also kinda weak and 'thin' on it's own. Pair it with INW Shisha Strawberry and you get a nice sweet, full tasting strawberry flavour. I usually use around 2:1 TFA:INW.
Do you have any experience with FA's guava or pear flavors? I think FA is the next stop on my search for a good guava concentrate.
I have both flavours. Pear is nice, not ever so strong on its own though imo. Works nicely with FA Apple Fuji and as a background in a lot of other fruit mixes.
I've not really used the Guava much, and I've yet to test it stand-alone. I've added it into a couple of recipes in the past as a background note and found it to be pretty strong and easy to over-do. Definitely smells good, may be worth a try for you.
If your looking to avoid harshness, steer clear of TFA juicy peach, it can be very irritating to the throat. The only other peach I've tried is FA White Peach, which is pretty tasty and represents its namesake quite well IMO.
TFA Juicy Peach CAN be irritating to the throat. I'm pretty sure that varies from person to person and is based on specific allergies. I use it at 4% in my peaches and cream mix and think it's fantastic.
Not trying to knock you. I just don't want people to completely discount the flavor.
That sounds kinda weird,i figured white peach would be the dry irritating one.i have no clue what they used but the first two times i ordered from kick ass juice the wick poison tasted so good,almost like a real peach.down the road before they closed it started to take on the candy sorta flavor.
INW Peach, 1.5%. Like biting into a fresh picked peach.
FA Fuji Apple, 3%. Same deal, for something more like a Honey Crisp. FA Stark Apple for a red delicious apple.
Strawberries - FA Strawberry and TFA Strawberry Ripe both taste like real strawberries to me, but different real strawberries, at different stages of ripeness. INW Shisha Stawberry doesn't taste quite like real fruit but it's not candy either; it's more like a strawberry syrup made out of real strawberries and it is DELICIOUS.
