A4 Box files, perfect for organising flavours
submitted about 9 years ago by pompey_rod

http://imgur.com/a/C7Y5Q I was just finishing off my second box and it got me thinking, I wonder how everyone else keeps there flavours organised. As you can see in the pic A4 box file split up with lengths of cardboard and a shit load of gaffer tape. Each box hold about 120 10ml bottles.

Hows everyone else keep on top of this 'seemed cheap at first, but actually quite expensive hobby'? lol

I've been using acrylic nail polish racks, which isn't actually very good. I've been looking for a better system, ideally something i can purchase cheaply.

They work great for me. What's wrong with yours?

Maybe I need one with more narrow platforms. They tip over and get turned around too easily, especially if I have to move it for whatever reason. I've considered buying a stand off Etsy with cutouts for each bottle, but perhaps I'm just being too picky. I'm also pretty new at mixing, so I have nothing else to compare it to.

You need a nail polish wall rack. http://i.imgur.com/dQwb9e1.jpg here's mine.

I'd need about 150$ worth in acrylics to fit half of my collection, and I have multiple 50/100 ml bottles. Good for smaller displays.

Agreed, that why I went with the box files.

Still need to find a solution for 30, 50 and 100mm bottles tho

I have 4 wall mounted acrylic racks and 3 of the tiered ones. $200+ now that I think about it (damn) But I enjoy the aesthetics and accessibility.$160 should fit about 400-450 15-30ml bottles on the wall mounted ones. That's gotta be more than half your collection. :)

Looks like what I used to use to catalog my cds for work. Great ideal!

Do they close? I want to see them closed and I'd be sold.

its a sturdy cardboard box for keeping a4 paper in.

If your in the UK you can pick them up from smiths http://www.whsmith.co.uk/products/whsmith-black-foolscap-board-box-file/654159

I expect somewhere like walmart would sell them in the states

I literally just chuck mine in a pot, I call it lucky dip. Just reach in, grab what ever and fill up.
