This is the thread to share all of your best individual creations. If you want to share your recipe as its own post, it must have extra content such as development process, variations, etc - but please post it here as well for posterity. Clones you made should go in the clone thread, and we also have weekly threads for new-mixer questions and "help me mix something with these flavors" threads. Please help keep the community "clean" by posting in appropriate threads.
It's best to use the format:

a malty Vanilla & Fruity Pebbles milkshake topped with a dollop of whipped cream.
Ingredient|% :---|---: Fruity Flakes (FW)|4 Hazelnut (FW)|0.5 Marshmallow (CAP)|2 Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (CAP)|3 Vanilla Swirl (TPA)|2 Vanilla Whipped Cream (CAP)|1.5
Flavor total: 13%
Very tasty as a shake-n-vape, but if you give it a week, the Fruity Flakes smooth out and the Hazelnut, VBIC & Vanilla Swirl reward you by becoming a much more malty & delicious milkshake base.
PLEASE BE ADVISED: FW Fruity Flakes contain sugars that may not be safe to vape, so mixer discretion is advised. It's also the one ingredient here I've never successfully subbed.
In lieu of detailed flavor notes, I'd prefer to offer my thanks to the community, and this subreddit specifically.
Today, August 1st 2016, marks my first year tobacco-free after 25 years of smoking. And, while /r/electronic_cigarette was the sub that helped me accidentally quit smoking, /r/DIY_eJuice continues to be the subreddit that keeps me smoke free. The single strongest force in terms of keeping me on any path, good or bad, is novelty, and you crazy bastards with all of your delicious and innovative recipes, humor, and generously shared information have provided me with a priceless bounty of novelty that I couldn't have found anywhere else. I cannot possibly thank you enough, and I really, super-cereally love you all so much. <3
I had to sub the Marshmallow CAP for TPA (I've got CAP on the way)... however, it's going to be reallllyyy hard not to mix up a huge bottle with TPA in the meantime - love the recipe, great job!!
Thanks for the feedback, and I'm super glad you like it!
It's definitely tasty with TFA, so if you like it as-is, I think you're going to be really happy with the CAP Vanilla Marshmallow version.
Ugh, I could drink CAP Vanilla Marshmallow. I think that flavor just joined my extremely limited ranks of 4oz. flavors worth having.
> Ugh, I could drink CAP Vanilla Marshmallow. I think that flavor just joined my extremely limited ranks of 4oz. flavors worth having.
Out of curiosity, what are you other few flavors you keep / would keep in 4oz sizes? I'm fairly new to this, about 2.5 months in, so I'm starting to get an idea of what I under/over bought on...
Does Fruity Flakes have that inherent lemon pledge taste?
It's pretty citric, for sure, but much more on the orange side than lemon. To me it lacks that unpleasant (pl)edge that Fruit Circles and Fruit Rings has in abundance. Also, I always seemed to pick up a cardboard note from FR & FC, and I don't get that from FF. I like it a lot more than any other fruit cereal base I've tried.
Whipped this up with 1% FA marshmallow instead of CAP. I thank you for this recipe it's truly delicious keep up the good work!
<3
Capella makes a marshmallow.... we'll i'll be damned. Only own FA and TFA.
Might have to make a bastard child of this with FW Fruit Rings instead of Flakes (you know, da sugar shit thing) and FA Marshmallow.... maybe TFA Marshmallow. Still thinking
Capella Marshmallow is awfully good here, but my first iteration used just TFA Marshmallow at 2%, and it was fine. And, while I love the idea of making a mix of TFA/FA/Toasted, save yourself the bother and consider going with /u/ID10-T's suggestion of 1% FA Marshmallow.
I won't urge you to pick up CAP's Marshmallow for this little lark of a recipe, but, keep it in mind, because it has this round, plush, vanilla-powdered-sugar thing the other two lack, so it's good in a lot of other recipes too!
His other idea to make a flavor base of /u/notcharlesmanson's Pebbles recipe is a great one, because I've tried it with FW Fruit Rings, TPA Fruit Circles & FLV Tricks and none of them worked worth a damn. Some people swear by TPA Fruit Circles in milk, but, that one I don't have, so I can't say for sure. But, Manson's Pebbles recipe is wicked pissah' so, it will likely blow Fruit Circles in Milk out of the water, too.
Other viable subs include: TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream instead of the CAP (not quite as good), TFA Malted Milk instead of FW Hazelnut (definitely not nearly as good) & TFA Whipped Cream instead of CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream (but that extra touch of vanilla is really nice).
I hate that FW Fruity Flakes has sugars, I really, really do, but, it's goddamn delicious, I'm not vaping liters of the stuff, and it's still not smoking butts, so I'm comfortable with the possibility of risk to myself.
You meant to reply to /u/RuntDastardly but it's my fault for leaving such a tiny comment.
I'd say a good accurate sub for CAP Marshmallow would be 75% TFA, 15% FA, and 5% TFA Toasted, 2.5% TFA Vanilla Swirl, 2.5% FA Meringue, or something like that. In this or your contemplated bastard, though, probably 1% FA instead of the 2% CAP would be tasty. As for the FW Fruit Flakes, I saw this and thought, what about mixing Manson's Pebbles as flavor base and then using some of that instead of the FW Fruit Flakes? Lot of effort just to avoid Fruit Flakes and I haven't a clue what % would work, but once you figured it out it would probably taste great. What do you think, Runt? Edit: forgot to account for vanilla and powdery sugar in CAP Marshmallow.
Recipe: Rhubarb Custard Bar
Ratio: 15PG/85VG
Steep: 5+ days
Ingredient|%| :--|:--| FLV Vanilla Custard|1.5%| FLV Pound Cake|1.5%| INW Rhubarb|0.5%| LA Cream Cheese Icing|1%| FA Cookie|0.5%|
Rhubarb is the star here, lending a nice bright freshness to a somewhat dense and heavy mix. Be sure to let it steep, the Rhubarb is quite pungent at first, but mellows in to something beautiful.
FLV Vanilla Custard was chosen here because the Vanilla note in it isn't super dark, and we don't want a super dense custard. FLV Poundcake is a somewhat dense, bready flavor, with a touch of anise or some spice to brighten it up here, and works really well in the mix. LA Cream Cheese Icing acts as the icing on top, and lends itself nicely to the creaminess of the custard and sweetens the recipe up a bit. FA Cookie is here to add a bit more texture to the bar.
Still have some ideas on different directions to take it, those include a touch of INW Biscuit to accent the bar, some CAP NY Cheesecake to accent the icing and provide a bit more density, and FA Meringue to pair up with the icing making it more pronounced.
> FLV Poundcake is a somewhat dense, bready flavor, with a touch of anise or some spice to brighten it up here, and works really well in the mix.
Ok before I go ordering FLV Pound Cake just to try this... how good is it really? Out of the 14 FLV flavors I have half of them are not worth the price.
IMO it's decent, but kind of middle of the road. Doesn't blow my socks off, but isn't bad by any means. You could probably create a similar or better mixture to give you that pound cake you're looking for, but this kind of takes a lot of the guess work out of it. I can see myself using it in a few different applications. I would check out Skiddlz' review in the Flavor Review Wiki
Is there anything you might recommend in particular to replace Pound Cake? I'm pretty new, so not too good at substitutions yet, but I'm dying to try out the Rhubarb I received yesterday in a recipe. Would CAP Sugar Cookie be anywhere in the ballpark? I also have CAP Cake Batter (I'm guessing that's not similar), INW Biscuit and pretty much anything else on the sidebar recommended beginner flavorings.
Edit: Read the flavor review, don't think I have anything close, especially if the coconut and anise notes are strong.
I'll kick us off since idk if i can do another mega thread this year for my birthday. It's been a slow year, unlike last year.
- 4% Vanilla Custard CAP.
- 2% New York Cheesecake CAP.
- .75% Joy FA.
- .6% Biscuit INW.
- .4% Nonna's Cake FA.
- .4% Vienna Cream FA.
Shake & Vape to 3/4 day cure time. I mix Max VG.
I had it marked on my calendar, though :(
Your recipe is the creamiest of them all! I love the Nonna it adds to the authentic cannoli flavor.
Question - have you added anything to this since you were limited to 6 ingredients for the contest?
I'm really glad you enjoy it so much! Your PM made me a happypanda.
I haven't had much time to play with additions, in fact, I only have enough VC/NYCC to make one more bottle. I need a reorder STAT. I added .5% FLV Pistachio & 1 drop of Rich Cinnamon to a bottle once, & all I tasted was pistachio/cinnamon, pretty much. Once in a while I'd get a hint of cream. Maybe .1/.2% pistachio & a dilution of RC would work, but idk yet.
ANY IDEAS on adding a strawberry to this? also... nonna's cake subs? wanna use what i have. maybe yellow cake with torrone?
I'm out of VCv1 & NYCC so I can't play around for a couple more weeks until I get some cash saved for a flavour order (been back in Florida from my Kentucky vacation for a week now) BUT my best guess would be to add .5 -1% JF Sweet Strawberry or INW Sttawberry (not Shisha, that's more syrupy I hear & I haven't tried it, it's on my next order)
Also I told some jackass on Facebook that he couldn't sub anything or it wouldn't be a cannoli anymore & what's he do? Subs out Nonna's Cake for "funnel cake" aka FA Zeppoli (I think?) & said it was good...
/u/queuetue picked up Nonna's just for my recipe & you probably should, too. It's delicious, I promise. Its peobably my most favourite redipe ever. And Nonna's is pretty useful in other recipes as well. Yellow cake and/or torrone would never work here, I promise.
Here is a cheesecake base by itself. I haven't tried to incorporate any fruits into it yet. It's buttery, creamy, semi-sweet and hits that slightly musty note cheesecake has. I vape this when I'm looking for a dessert that has a rich flavor, but isn't particularly that sweet.
Cheesecake
-
5% NY Cheesecake CAP
-
2% Cheesecake Graham Crust TFA
-
3% Sugar Cookie CAP
-
1% Graham Cracker V1 CAP
-
0.5% Vanilla Custard CAP
I recommend letting this sit for at least 3 days; starts to really come together after a week.
I heard that Cheesecakes really need like 3 weeks to a month to fully develop.
How important is the Graham Cracker V1 CAP to this flavour, do you feel?
I'm looking at placing an order, but the place I'm ordering from doesn't seem to have it (http://thebrokevaper.ca/ - Canada)
Any suggestions on a substitute?
It was mostly for added sweetness, while enhancing the Graham notes in the recipe. You could probably get away with tfa Graham Cracker clear
Benedict Cumbermint
- Arctic Winter (Menthol) (FA) 1%
- Cucumber (CAP) 6%
- Koolada (TPA) 0.5%
- Lime Tahity (Cold-Pressed) (FA) 1.5%
This is a nice refreshing, simple summer recipe. It's the first one I've attempted to bring Cucumber out as the main flavor. My original inspiration was Lime-Cucumber Gatorade, and the menthol gives a nice kick to the juice.
Have you ever had Cool Cukes from VapeWild that was recently discontinued? I have been looking for a replacement for that juice and am wondering how similar this would be....
This is a tart take on strap-on with a candy finish.
Stacks on Deck
LA Watermelon - 4.5%
INW Anton Apple - 2.5%
FA Fuji Apple - 0.3%
INW Cactus - 0.5%
TFA Strawberry Ripe - 2.5%
FA Strawberry - 1%
Not a whole lot to say here. I just cant get enough of Anton Apple, so I figured I would share another recipe with it. Tart apple, candy watermelon, and a strawberry compliment. Feel free to add koolada/menthol if that is your thing. Delicious as a shake and vape, but better after a day or so.
Edit: I just mixed this up again and I almost feel like I have to rewrite my post. This is phenomenal as a shake and vape and addictive as hell!
I mixed this up about 10 days ago. It was a tad rough on the edges S&V. After about 5 days, this turned into something really good. Tonight, sweet Jesus!
I added Anton onto an order I was making just so I could try this. I've got a new favorite for playing with. Anton is fantastic.
I'm glad you like it! The recipe (and Anton in general) is really punchy in the beginning, for sure. I like that about it, but I can definitely appreciate how many people might not. I have never let this make it to 10 days...better whip up a batch and throw in a box to steep now. Thanks for the feedback!
Simple recipe here, thanks to /u/ID10-T for suggestion of KB and TM combo.
4% FA Kiwi
2% TFA Kentucky Bourbon
2% TFA Toasted Marshmallow
Good after overnight steep. Kiwi starts to fade after 2-3 weeks.
Edit: No, can't sub in TFA Kiwi Double.
I tried this, after you mentioned it in the Kentucky Bourbon flavor review. It's a winner!
I've also suggested combining TM and Kiwi a few times in the past, so when you put the three of them together for the first time (that I've seen), it was a major slap myself in the forehead, "Why didn't I think of that?" moment.
About that same time I had just picked up FA Kiwi and was in love. To me TFA Kiwi Double sucks way hard, but FA's version is pretty realistic. This is my take on a discontinued Space Jam juice that supposedly is close. Though I think they used FW Kiwi.
That Starship can't possibly not taste good.
I'm ok with Kiwi Dub and enjoy using both it and FA's Kiwi together in some things. To me, FA's is almost hyper-realistic; it's got that kind-of rindy taste that you get from eating a kiwi skin-on. Which I do. I love 'em fur and all. Kiwi Dub would ruin Coop's Kiwi Bourbon, it just wouldn't fit in that profile at all. Have not tried FW Kiwi, are you basing that on taste or just what you know of Space Jam?
I have all these and have had a hell of a time finding good pairings and balances with that bourbon so will definitely look forward to this. Any suggestion on steep time?
I read the overnight but do you have notes on longer steeps or ways to get the kiwi to hold later on?
Next day is good for me. This may give you some ideas for KB. Very unusual taste, good for when I get tired of all the custards.
This vending machine treasure right here
Mfg | Flavor | % ---|---|---- INW |Biscuit | 0.75 FW | Yellow Cake | 1 FA | Joy | 0.5 LA | Cream Cheese Icing | 1.5 FA | Meringue | 1.25 FW | Cinnamon Roll | 2 FA | Butterscotch | 2.5
I know this could taste better, in the same way that a homemade honey bun can be elevated to something so much better than anything out of a vending machine. But I don’t want it to taste better, I want it to taste like Little Debbie. It’s a nostalgia thing. If you grew up on these things or survived college eating these for breakfast and ramen for dinner, you probably understand.
Steep time: 2 weeks
Drink pairing: White Russian, or milk for the 18 to 21 crowd. If you're more of a beer drinker, something like this Honey Stout.
Why not satisfy another of your senses while you're at it? Jimmy Soul sounds great with this.
Don't want to use that coil-gunkin' FW Cancer Cake? No problem.
YC-Free Honey Bun
Mfg | Flavor | % ---|---|---- INW |Biscuit | 0.75 CAP | Sugar Cookie | 1.5 FA | Joy | 0.75 LA | Cream Cheese Icing | 1.5 FA | Meringue | 1.25 FW | Cinnamon Roll | 2 FA | Butterscotch | 2.5 TFA | Cheesecake Graham Crust | 0.75
Some Notes:
FA Butterscotch 2.5%. As strange as it sounds, FA Butterscotch, mixed this high with these bakery flavors, tastes more like the honey in a processed honey bun than butterscotch. It even tastes more like honey than TFA Honey, with the added benefit of not marking your surroundings with the stink of cat piss. I owe /u/xsirxx a debt of gratitude for pointing out the similarity between butterscotch and honey flavor.
FW Yellow Cake 1.5%/INW Biscuit 0.75%: This makes a breakfast snack cake base that’s bread-like and not cake, but is sweet and cakey enough to be a honey-infused, sugary bun, and not a basic biscuit.
FW Cinnamon Roll 2%: This fairly weak flavoring could go as high 10% for a standalone Cinnamon Roll that needs some finishing touches. Here, it contributes to the bready bun and also gives just enough cinnamon for the amount in a Little Debbie Honey Bun.
FA Joy 0.5%: Gives a yeasty note that the bun needs and does a great job of giving it that yummy partially hydrogenated soybean oil flavor.
LA Cream Cheese Icing 1.5%/ FA Meringue 1.25: To quote /u/RuntDastardly from a discussion about his [Lmn# recipe] (https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/7037#lmn_by_runtdastardly) , “LA Cream Cheese Icing + FA Meringue = Sweet Icing LOVE!” An earlier version had a much higher % of LA CCI and less Meringue but it tasted too much like real cream cheese icing and not that weird waxy sugar icing on the actual snack cake. It tasted too good for what I was going for. Lowering LA CCI and raising Meringue helped.
A word about the YC-Free Honey Bun: This replaces the 1% Yellow Cake with 2.5% "Idiot Cake." It's 60% CAP Sugar Cookie, 30% TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust, and 10% FA Joy. I'm almost convinced you can use 2.5% of Idiot Cake to replace 1% FW Yellow Cake in any recipe. It worked wonderfully in my I Can't Believe It's Not Bronuts recipe and slightly less successfully in I Can't Believe It's Not Manson's Strawberry Shortcake bar.
It is by no means a perfect replication, of course. I called those “I Can’t Believe It’s Not…” because it made them taste like the original recipes in the same way that I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! tastes like butter. You know it's not butter. It's not going to pass a blind taste test against butter. But if your doctor tells you your arteries as clogged as I-35 in Austin and you can't have butter anymore, you might try to find something better for you. It’ll do until some smart flavor manufacturer comes out with something better to replace FW YC. Give it a try with your favorite recipe that has Yellow Cake in it and let me know what you think!
Cant wait to try it! I need to order some LA Cream Cheese :(.
There are so many better uses for LA Cream Cheese Icing than this! If you make this and hate it, don't blame LA CCI.
How's the poached pear coming along?
> e poach
Well I really didnt like the flavor of the new mix with the INW Honey. Not that it cant be good but two things will need to happen. Steep time will change it? I will find out more tonight if it has moved in flavor at all.
Or two, I still think it can be a great ingredient if the recipe is completely changed. The pear prolly has to come down quite a bit so I know which flavor is pulling on which. The rest of the creams will need to come down. I will prolly put the clove back in along with INW honey. I am just not sure.
So it definitely is not the same by a large margin. It smells absolutely amazing though! I am hoping the flavor is better tonight. Thats not to say its bad, it just is different than what I intended. It is much more pear flavored, that is for sure! Like overly I think. The flavors are alot more blended instead of breaking apart from the front to back. The spices just arent enough now, strangely.
So my favorite is still the one I gave you. If I am to build a better version using the INW Honey, it will need to be completely reworked IF it doesnt change during steep.
EDIT: I believe a rework will indeed make a better and different version. I think the honey is the strong point in the one I like, where this would have a more pear strong point.
Eating those things was never my bag, but as a vape? I'm all in! Added to my next to-mix batch.
I'm now in the very unusual position of trying to talk you out of mixing a recipe I'm proud of. But if eating those things was not for you, you'll miss out on the nostalgia trip and just be disappointed in me.
If you insist on mixing it anyway, do it with a mindset of, "This is a good start, how can I make it better?" My suggestions for that would be to up the CCI a bit, lower the meringue a little, and most importantly, drop a little vanilla and some diacetyl in there.
Oh, I remember exactly what those little sugar bombs tasted like, I was just a spoiled bitch because I preferred mom's homemade. ;-) I'm still very susceptible to nostalgia, though, so trust me when I say I'm looking forward to mixing it up as is before I even consider monkeying with the balance.
I wonder who this guy who posts all these ideas and recipes is. I'd like to perhaps converse with him regarding mango flavourings.
I'm going to try this. All of the flavours are in my little plastic pantry minus FA Butterscotch and LA Cream Cheese Icing. I'll stick them into my next order.
Unless you grew up on Little Debbie Iced Honey Buns, don't. It's a crappy recipe because it's a juice version of a crappy "food" item. It's a nostalgia trip. See conversation with RuntDastardly above. I can't even say I recommend buying FA Butterscotch. There are much better butterscotch flavors out there, for sure. LA CCI on the other hand... You need some of that in your life.
My logic was this: I like all of those flavorings I have at roughly those percentages. I've never tried FA Butterscotch, so no thoughts there. CCI looks interesting, and seeing as you're recommending it I may as well get it anyway. Could be a good way to modify some recipes. StrawShortcake, Funfetti, etc.
Mixed this up now for the long wait. Thanks for this one
Saving this for later. Sounds AMAZING.
I could be made to taste better: By rearranging the frosting ratios, adding some kind of vanilla, and for godsakes stuffing some rich and creamy diacetylly goodness in there. But I don't believe you could get it to taste more like a Little Debbie Iced Honey Bun. Sometimes it's all about the nostalgia.
Link to check it out on ATF.
Jelly Filled Donut
Vendor | Flavor | Amount ---|---|---- TFA | Frosted Donut | 5% CAP | Glazed Donut | 2% INW | Shisha Strawberry | 4% INW | Raspberry | 0.8% FA | Meringue | 1%
Flavor total: 12.8%
Some low-effort notes
TFA Frosted Dount/CAP Glazed Donut The obvious donut base. TFA Frosted provides some cakeyness and the CAP Glazed brings a bit of gooeyness to the palate. My first attempt didn't include CAP Glazed, but after trying it in my 2nd attempt, I realized it had to be in there. Without it, the final result is just kind of boring.
INW Shisha Strawberry The heart and soul of the jammy strawberry filling. I had originally used FA Red Touch, which worked well, but to me the INW SS brings a little more excitement to the party as far as strawberry filling goes.
FA Meringue The powdered sugar on top part of the donut. 1% does a fine job of achieving this aspect.
INW Raspberry Not only does this flavoring compliment the strawberry amazingly well, but it's slight dry note seems to help bring out the FA Meringue to help give that "powdered sugar" effect.
Just mixed it up. What's your steeping recommendation? 2 weeks or so?
I made mine at 85/15 VG/PG for some drippin action.
It's pretty good after an overnight steep, but develops some complexity after a week.
i gave it a 10 days steep; tried it out yesterday. For some reason i don't get any donut flavor out of it. Definitely get strawberry.... so far that's the main upfront note of it. I'll put it back in the steep drawer and check it again in another 10 days or so and see where it's at.
That's weird! I've had one steeping for about a week and I mostly taste donut with a bit of strawberry. I can say that when I used FA Red Touch, the strawberry seemed to stay longer even though it wasn't as bright as the Shisha.
I made my own recipe of a donut flavored juice that contained both TFA and CAP donut and version 1 I let steep for a while as well and couldn't really taste donut either. Not sure if I got a bad batch of either one, or if I just have a hard time tasting donut. I made a version 2 of the one I did and added more donut (and donut style supporting flavors like cake batter, etc.) flavors, so we'll see how that one comes out.
Donut isn't a easy flavor to hit right for me. Still trying to figure it out. I do buy a donut juice I like by flawless called "loaded glazed donut"; it's like $30-40 for 120ml so it's at least priced somewhat decent. I can definitely taste CAP sugar cookie in it.... So now I'm trying to kinda clone that to.
Late to the party but I showed up. A little clone I came up with. Bettyfrom Pinup Vapors. I learned the main ingredient was Forest Mix (FA) and tried to jumble some shit with it. I present to you:
BECKY
4% Forest Mix (FA)
2% Dragonfruit (TPA)
1.5% Marshmallow (TPA)
3% Strawberry (TPA)
2% Sweet Mango (CAP)
Flavor Total: 12.5% Max VG
Steep Time: Shake and Vape.
5 flavors of deliciousness.. Seriously it's pretty spot on minus all of the sweetener.
So I mixed up 15ml of this, subbing TFA Strawberry for TFA Ripe Strawberry. For some reason, this melon type flavor overpowers everything. I've tried from 22w up to 40w and it all tastes of melons for some reason.... I may be mistaking melon for mango.. I'll try my next 15ml without the mango and see. This is the 2nd mix I've made so far. Thanks!
Certainly might be the Mango although I have never subbed Ripe Strawberry in for it, so it could compensate for the melon taste.. I personally haven't experienced it tasting like that so for you I would probably try it without the Mango and see how that is or maybe dropping it a percent in the entire mix.
Strawberry Tiny Toast Cereal
- 1.25% FA Cookie
- 2.75% FA Redtouch Strawberry
- 1.0% CAP Funnel Cake
- 0.75% FA Meringue
- 0.75% FA Fresh Cream
- 1.25% TFA Bavarian Cream
- 1.0% TFA Vanilla Swirl
The cereal^faCookie this recipe is modeled after has a sugary powdery coating with a hint of vanilla and for that I used Cap Funnel cake, FA Meringue and TFA Vanilla Swirl. The funnel cake and Meringue really gives it that sugary powered feel
The strawberry is the actual cereal isn't that dominant so I tried to keep the strawberry on the low side. I chose FA's strawberry because it's the best of both worlds in terms of real/candy strawberry. For the milk I went with Fresh Cream and Bavarian cream, it's not exactly milk but it does the trick
If anyone mixes this up I'd love to get some feedback on it
After several attempts I finally nailed a good Peach Cobbler. This Peach combo is fantastic with the Liquid Amber FA giving it a cooked glaze flavor. The Pie Crust is buttery and light, thanks to the Apple Pie (FA) and Pound Cake (FLV). Just a dab of Vanilla and Cinnamon that enhance and uplift this mix giving it a true cobbler feel.
1 drop Rich Cinnamon per 30 mls.
Steep 10 days minimum... use no heat.

Does anyone know who sells diluted MF? I just can't justify the price. This looks goooood
Thanks for your view of this recipe. It's probably my 6th shot at this one. In my prior attempts at a cobbler I went for the crunchy crust blending cookie and crust, but it never panned out that way. For this one I wanted the thick soft doughy crust that's next to the fruit. It came really good using Pound Cake. The butter note was just a bonus.
I'm not sure who sells MF diluted. I know for me the usage % and the spot on flavor was enough justification for me. Considering a lot Cap, FW and TPA need so much more just to get a taste of something that resembles the actual flavor description... MF is well worth it to me. (Just my opinion)
If this helps any, here's 2 of my favorite MF flavors on sale right now ...
Vanilla Flavored Potent Extract, 1/2 oz - Medicine Flower
Dark Chocolate Flavored Potent Extract, 1/2 oz - Medicine Flower
If you have a question about the Price Point... You can make 1500 mls plus finished eliquid with each of these easily. I'm talking .3 to 1% flavoring per mix. Not bad when some vapers pay up to $22 plus for a 30 ml bottle of average flavor finished vendor's eliquids.
Not diluted, but ECX sells MF in 5ml bottles as Lotus.

Ladies and Gents,
I wanted to share a nice summer ADV for you all. Do not fret over the % of flavor used - RF is all VG based and it takes more of it to make it shine.
Short Notes:
Crust: Biscuit / Graham Cracker Clear / Cheesecake Graham Crust = a delicious and buttery/sweet crust for the nice Lemon filling to rest upon.
The filling: Cream Cheese (RF) gives this mix a nice cheesy body to enrich the appeal of the Lemon but also providing a nice tang.
Cream Cheese Icing (LA) gives the Cream Cheese an added sweetness and helps boost the cheesy tang I was looking for.
Lemon (INW) / Lemon Sicily (FA) - INW Lemon can be a tad harsh on its own and sometimes give off a nice pledge type taste/smell, but packs an extremely potent punch. This is why it was coupled with Lemon Sicily (FA) to help smooth the edges a bit, but allowing the Lemon to be the star.
Vanilla Custard (TPA) - This is what makes the filling so incredible. Its gives it notes of vanilla which play well the lemons, smooths them out, and also adds to the body which makes this a deliciously smooth and creamy lemon meringue pie filling.
Steep Time: 4-5 days allows the filling to mix in with the crust a bit more. Lemon tones down and lends to a nicely balanced crust/filling ratio.
Hope you all enjoy.
I give you my newest creation:
#Bustard
Here we go with another custard because, well, I can't get enough of a damn good custard.
Flavor|Percentage :-|:- CAP Vanilla Custard V1|8% DIYFS Holy Vanilla|3% FA Marshmallow|1.5% FA Meringue|1.5% CAP New York Cheesecake|1% CAP Butter Cream|1% TFA Cheesecake (Graham Crust)|1%
Mix at Max VG and you'll be right around 80vg/20pg pending on nic type and level.
Minimum one week steep.
What can I use to substitute the holy vanilla? Would inw shisha vanilla work?
I find that using Holy Vanilla over 1% tends to milk everything up. Would you describe this as a milky custard recipe?
I'm not sure I'd go with milky. That's interesting.
This is the first recipe with Holy Vanilla I've made, but I'm not getting milky out of it.
I do have a another recipe steeping with three less ingredients, less CAP VC, same amount of Holy Vanilla. I'll let you know if I remember if that one turns up milky.
I mixed two bottles of:
http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/11224/Grants+Vanilla+Custard+my+way
First bottle was as the recipe in the link above. Second bottle was with an addition of 1% Holy Vanilla. I found that the combination of CAP VC/FV/NYC and Holy Vanilla produces a milky background/tone. Interesting find.
Thoroughly enjoying this mix. It's really shining at the two week mark.
Originally posted this in Shake'n'Vape, but what with all the notes I took and the thought I put into it apparently my brain shat itself and forgot it may be of use in here, too.
Mango deliciousness.
My first post in this fab subreddit, let's see how you folks feel about it!
Manufacturer | Flavour | % ---|---|---- TPA | Mango | 1.5 FLV | Mango | 1 CAP | Sweet Mango | 1.75 FA | Mango | 2 FA | Marshmallow | 1.5 FA | Lime Tahity | 1.5 INW | Shisha Strawberry | 1.2 Any | Ethyl Maltol | 0.25
I suggest a 30pg/70vg mix as a starting point, though max VG will provide a smoother draw. 0 nic is even better for velvet gullet.
Very smooth with a thick, heavy mouthfeel. Reminiscent of mango pureé.
FA/TPA/FLV/CAP Mango The four mangoes here all offer different notes of a mango flavour.
FA Mango Full on flavour. A great mango flavour but also very dry in taste.
TPA Mango The one that turns people off mango vapes when they first try it. Pithy and over-ripe, though the earthy note is important as it adds realistic flavour to the other concentrates.
CAP Sweet Mango Cloying and almost overbearing, but with the sweetness and denseness of a mango.
FLV Mango FLV's mango is to mango what CAP VC V1 is to custards. Fantastic flavour to add roundness of all the elements of mango flavours - helps to boost the other flavours without pushing any individual note too high.
None of them quite make the mark on their own (especially TPA's mango which can be quite foul.) The ratios here are quite important in my view. ~~If you want a stronger flavour make sure that you increase each Mango flavour proportionately to each other.~~
FA Marshmallow A classic for adding mouthfeel and density to any recipe whilst also acting as a sweetener. One of my favourite flavours.
FA Lime Tahity Adds that sharp, sweet tangy flavour on its own, but in this mix it helps to boost the inherent mild citrus in a mango without adding any discernable lime flavour.
INW Shisha Strawberry A flavour for those who can't taste strawberries. Fantastic concentrate. In this recipe it also adds to the thick, almost cloying taste of fresh mango on your tongue.
Ethyl Maltol Very imporant note for this sweetener. Don't sub for sucralose - it's not the same and doesn't boost the recipe's sweetness. Instead all that it does it add a false sweet taste that doesn't sit well in here. Ethyl Maltol is perfect here as it helps to boost the inherent sweetness in each of the flavours.
Optional additions:
Koolada Try anywhere from 0.25-0.75% to add a fantastic cool feel to mimic a sort of mango smoothie.
TPA Sweet Raspberry 0.25-0.5% For a sharper tang, though it will alter the recipe as this flavour is very strong.
Hope you enjoy it.
You should have added your remark from the Shake'n'Vape comments to your flavor notes: "FLV's mango is to mango what CAP VC V1 is to custards."
I'm gonna make that quote famous, I swear to you. Well, /r/DIY_eJuice famous, at least. It's much more original and descriptive than what I've been spouting until now: "Do have a moment to talk about our Lord and Savior, FLV Mango?"
Haha, you're following me you legend. I'll edit, I'll edit.
All you have to do is say the magic word, "mango," in the right context and I'll basically become your reddit stalker. I think /u/Apexified and maybe /u/kirkt and others have me RES tagged for that.
So excited to try this I might risk getting fired to leave work and make it. It does look like a bit more FA Mango than I would have thought to use - that stuff gets green and rindy real quick like you not only bought an underripe mango but also stupidly decided to bite in without peeling the damn thing first. But I've a hunch you've squashed that problem with these other ingredients.

Cranberries with caramel are awesome, and I've spent quite a bit of time trying to replicate that as a vape. After numerous tries with CAP cranberry I gave up, until I picked up FLV cranberry a little while back. Man, just what I was looking for, a perfect tart natural cranberry. After a few revisions I settled on adding some FA fuji for depth, but this works well without it too. Brown sugar and butterscotch ripple for the caramel sauce, and bavarian cream + vanilla swirl to mix it all up into a smooth pudding-like thingy. MTS optional to round out the flavor more and add some mouthfeel. 4-5 day steep.

So I've been messing with a pink lemonade for a few months, but I think this is the best I can do.
TFA Lemon - 5%
FW Lemonade - 1.5%
CAP Lemon Sicily - 4%
CAP Sweet Tangerine - 3%
CAP Raspberry - 5%
TFA Champagne - 0.5%
CAP Sweet - 1%
TFA Sour - 1%
I've messed around with the lemon the most to get it where it sits nicely as a base, but has prominent citrus tones come on top (with the help of the sweet and tangerine flavours). I've tried cranberry and strawberry to help bring the pinkness out but find the raspberry works best on its own for me.
This is my first recipe I'm feeling confident enough in sharing so suggestions such as additives and constructive criticism would be much appreciated.
It's best left a whole day to steep but you can just vape it and shake as you go along.
Have you tried LA Lemonade? I heard it is pretty good. I just ordered it and am excited to try it out.

This is my submission for August 2016. My most delicious recipe to date. Rusty Pelican is a rich butterscotch ice cream scooped and wrapped in a golden crepe, and topped with toasted hazelnuts and a drizzle of caramel. A stupidly decadent ADV or your money back!
I just watched ( and subbed to) your YouTube video on this. I'm just waiting on some hazelnut then I'm gonna mix this baby up! Thanks and shoutout Canada! I could tell by your bottles :D
Hi, and thanks for subbing. Once you get into Hazelnut, you will wanna put Hazelnut in everything you mix. I'll be putting out another video this week for my Mega Man Yogurt recipe. Go Canada!
So....I have now tried your recipe after 1 week of steeping and with the addition of 1.5% CAP Vanilla Custard V1. It's aaaabsolutely delicious. You get different notes with every vape, making it very interesting to vape. There is also a certain depth to this recipe with I love!!
Absolutely right, I want to add FA Hazelnut to everything. It's so powerful, rich and authentic. I wanted to ask you, if I want to create a Hazelnut Custard, what would be an appropiate percentage to add? I don't want the rich hazelnut flavor to ruin the delicate vanilla flavor so I was thinking about 0.2-0.4%. But that in turn yields another question; At what percent would I add the FW Butter Pecan to smooth out the FA Hazelnut?
I am so happy to hear you are enjoying this recipe. I finished 50 ml of it in a week. If you have an account on ELR, I would really appreciate it if you give the recipe a rating here: http://tjek.nu/r/6nZa
I am working on a Hazelnut Custard myself. It is not always necessary to add Butter Pecan to FA Hazelnut. Custards are usually very rich and will automatically smooth out the Hazelnut. Here is the Hazelnut Custard recipe I'm currently working with:
The Mad Nutter |%| :--|:--| Hazelnut (FA)|0.6| Vanilla Custard v1 (Cap) |4| Vanilla Cupcake (Cap) |2.5| Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (Cap)|2.5| Sweetner (TPA)|0.5|
You can use TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Instead of Cap if you like. The Capella version is just more creamy and has less vanilla bean. You can increase the Vanilla Custard v1 (Cap) up to 6% too. I just can't handle the thickness of that flavor higher than 3-4%. Keep in mind that this is not a finished recipe yet, and I'm only on version 1.
I'm currently working on cereal milk by Momofuku milk bar. For those of you who don't know, it's toasted corn flakes suspended in milk and brown sugar. This is a WIP, but I think I'm getting closer.
TFA Crunchy Cereal 6%
TFA Brown Sugar 1%
FW Hazelnut 1%
FA Marzipan 0.5%
FA Fresh Cream 0.5%
FA Vienna Cream 1%
FA Meringue 2%
TFA Toasted Marshmallow 1%
TFA AP - 0.3%
It's almost there but the challenge is to find a cornflakey type of cereal. Crunchy cereal is okay, but I'm exploring a few others including Capella and FW. If all goes well, I should be able to post it up by next week.
Have you tried TFA's Lucky Leprechaun?
I have that, but no, have not tried it yet. I have to say CAP Cereal 27 is very convincing as a single flavour tester. It might just be it

Paging /u/ID10-T. There is yet another mango to consider? This is a very attractive profile.
I'm always willing to consider a mango. I haven't tried that one and don't know where to get EuroFlavor though. Edit: Other than direct from the manufacturer. http://euroflavor.myshopify.com/
Right now I'm trying JF Mango and then there's still FE and MF and FW... so many mangoes.
There are several flavors here I haven't tried yet but I'm imaging something like that recipe with the flavors I do have and it tastes very good in my head.
/u/NewDrip how does the taste of Yellow Mango compare to other mango flavors you've tried? I know a couple of months ago you said you liked it better than FE, TFA, and FA. Is it closer to one of those than the others? Have you tried any others since then such as FLV, INW, CAP Sweet, TFA Philippine, HS, SC, or JF?
I've tried Cap, TPA, FE, FA and MF but this works best for me. This mango has a bright natural ripe mango flavor. It's slightly sweet but not an overbearing sweetness. I just works best for me at 1-2% mixer and 3-4‰ top note. Anything higher and it gets perfumey. I gets stronger as it steeps so be sure to start low.
I also have FLV Mango, I haven't tried it yet.
Thanks for your comment. As you can see I came across the profile while perusing recipes. I also thought the profile looked attractive, so I gave it a shot. It just happened to come out as one hit wonder.

Happy August everyone!
I've got a very simple, yet delicious summer vape. Where I work, there is no AC and its consistently 85+ inside all day long, usually in the 90's. When I get off work, an ice cold beer is essential, and I've been getting sick of super dense, desserty vapes that are usually my norm. I've always enjoyed lemonade, so I decided to revisit this classic profile with a slight twist. It's an extremely simple flavor but has been really refreshing lately, and would definitely be a great base to work with.
"Freckled" Lemonade
-
LA Lemonade: 6%
-
FW Ginger: 1 drop per 15ml
-
EM: 1%
-
Koolada: .25%
-
INW Cactus: .25%
LA Lemonade: My favorite of all the lemonades, very authentic to me and really good on its own, just needs a few friends to take it to the next level.
FW Ginger: This is the twist. This flavor is super strong, but I love the spicy freshness it lends to anything lemon. One of my favorite teas is an herbal ginger lemon green rooibos tea (Side note, if anyone knows of a rooibos flavor holler at me), and I've discovered how truly complimentary those two are. At this point, its definitely present but you really notice how well it blends with the lemon.
EM/Koolada/Cactus: I shouldn't have to explain this to you guys, but this is all about the sensation. I can't do too much Koolada without it being gnarly to me, so at this percentage it is perfect, and the EM helps tame that lemon while sweetening the whole thing.
As I said, this would be a great base, add other goodies to enhance as you wish. I'm going to try FA White Peach, some different berries, and who knows. I know what your thinking, I call it freckled and there's no strawberry. But with the ginger in there, I just couldn't resist myself. Hope y'all enjoy the rest of your summer, cheers!
Do you have loose leaf rooibos tea? Could be worth a shot creating your own extraction. Steep the tea leaves in of then strain it out and use.
I actually work in a spice and tea shop, not a bad idea. I would want to do a bit more research before making an extraction, but thanks for the idea, it hasn't occurred to me.
This is a mashup of Cambodia by /u/boneynicole and Vicious Vanilla by /u/botboy141. I calls it Vanilla Fruit Custard.

Makes a pretty good overnight steep, and gets better over the next month or two. I know it is a lot of total flavorings, but this was what I could pare it down to after several iterations.
I have been playing with Inawera lately and am loving their Raspberry. So I originally had this one as a 2% for each flavor across the board but I couldn't taste anything. After dropping the % down, this came out pretty tasty. It's mostly raspberry with a hint of pear. The apple rounds out the flavors and brings a freshness to it. I am still fiddling with it and may remove the tfa pear entirely and up the INW pear by .25% when I get the time. My sister ended up taking home 100ml of this and has decided it's her new favorite vape (she usually vapes "premium juice" but I'm converting her to the diy way lol). Any suggestions or tweaks are welcome.

/u/ID10-T hit on some good points already, but I will fill in some gaps based on my experience. Now whatever tastes good to you is really what matters, but here is what I am going to mix based on what you posted (thanks btw).
INW Anton Apple - 1%
INW Pear - 1.5%
INW Raspberry - 0.75%
FA Pear - 1.5% (FA is the pear I want here because it is sweet and juicy without adding any floral notes)
Using Anton as an additive with this combo of pear and raspberry is an interesting idea and since Anton is my current obsession, I am pretty excited to play with this.
Edit: I slept on it and have decided that I want to start with a 1:1 ratio with these pears
I am going to have to add FA pear to my next order. Tfa and INW are the only ones I have right now and I was a juicy pear. The INW is good but kinda feels more like the skin than the meat of the pear. Tfa is meh
How did u r version come out? I ended up dropping the TFA pear and going with this instead with better results:
Anton Apple INW @ 0.5%
Raspberry INW @ 0.75%
Pear INW @ 0.75%
I tried it with a bit of sour too and like both versions equally.
It came out pretty tasty. The FA Pear did what I wanted it to do. At my percentage of INW Pear, I felt that the Anton wasn't quite doing the work I would have liked. I would be interested to see what it is like with INW Pear at 0.75 while keeping Anton at 1%.
Thanks for sharing! It looks like a lot of INW Raspberry and TFA Pear to me, like cutting both of those down by as much as half might be an improvement. As you've already discovered, sometimes less is more. But, I have to qualify that with a number of things, such as, I don't have much experience with INW Pear, I've never even tried Anton Apple (just ordered some this morning), and most importantly, it does not matter what it looks like to me or anyone here, it only really matters what it tastes like to your sister.
I think your idea to try removing the TFA Pear entirely is also a really good one.
I'm excited to see what recipes you come up with once you get Anton Apple. Not many recipes out there yet for it that aren't private. I am going to keep playing with this recipe for a bit and probably work on a strap on with it over the weekend.
So I removed the tfa pear, lowered Anton Apple to 0.5%, and pear and raspberry each to 0.75%. It's better without that tfa pear for sure. I am ordering some more flavors tomorrow including some other pears so will prob remix it again once I get those. It's tasting great tho.
This is what I've been vaping for the past month or so. My sinus has been acting up again so I made it with the intention to clear it up. However I've been finding myself reaching for it again and again. It's a pretty refreshing blend from all the creams and custards out there.
TFA Green Tea 3%
INW Eucalyptus Mint 1.25%
FA Lemon Sicily 4%
FA Honey 0.3%
TFA Honeysuckle 4%
If you vape it fresh, the eucalyptus can be overpowering but a 2-3 day steep really calms it down and let's the other flavor nuances shine.
I have to have a bad batch from bcv. No matter what I mix Eucalyptus at(10% dilutions, .5% ,1%) I just get a stupid amount of harshness. I'll need to pick up more.

Ingredient|%| :--|:--| TFA Ginger Ale|4%| TFA Champagne|3%| FA Jamaican Rum|1.5%| TFA Koolada|0.5%| Optional FA Aurora|0.5%-1%|
Optional FA Aurora for a refreshing lime twist.
So here I think the Ginger Ale is definitely the star of the show, getting a little boost from your desired liquor and benefitting from the sort of "watered-down" effect from the champagne as well as a slightly more present illusion of effervescence. I like the Koolada to add "ice" to the drink which I feel is necessary. You should be able to use just about any liquor here that you like (bourbon, brandy, whiskey, etc.) and have good results; I went with Jamaican Rum since I wanted the ginger ale to be a little spicier and have that boozy tone to it.
Is TFA Ginger Ale harsh by any chance? I just picked up a vial of this and I can't wait to try this recipe. But I'm missing FA Jamaican Rum.
I don't recall it being very harsh, the flavor review I left on it indicates it was a mild throat. Feel free to sub in any of your favorite alcohols here that would pair well with ginger ale. I would think bourbon, whiskey, amaretto, brandy, things like that would go well in its place. The Jamaican Rum is nice though since it's kind of spicy to play off the ginger spice.

Majority of the credit for this goes to /u/ID10-t for his help in the July 8th Suggest a Recipe thread. One of his recommendations was a stand-a-lone Fuji Apple @ 3%. I used this as my base configuration and started playing around with other ingredients added to the mix.
-
Fuji Apple is the obvious star of the show here, and of the few apple flavorings I have tried it is the most realistic in my opinion.
-
Strawberry Ripe, Peach, and Orange Mango were added to give some different underlying tones to the apple and make it a bit more tropical and add some complexity to the flavor.
-
Koolada was added recently, it gives what would be a hot vape an almost menthol feel to it, being sick recently this has been more than welcome and helps clear my sinuses. More over, I would think that at the right concentration, (.15-.5% ish) the Koolada would bring to the vape what is missing. The vape is entirely fruit based, and with the setup I am using it tastes great, but doesn't accurately represent fruit. To better represent them I believe a small amount of Koolada could be added to give that refreshing feel that an actual piece of fruit would. But the Koolada in this mix is personal preference. It tastes just as great without it. My next batch I will be dropping this to .2%
This mix will have a permanent spot in my lineup for the foreseeable future.
I don't get majority of the credit for suggesting one ingredient at a good standalone % as a refreshing break from heavy custards. Or any credit, really.
I do get tons of these kinds of username shout-outs for helping people, but when I actually share recipes they get little love. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. Sigh.
I would definitely mix this up and let you know what I think of it, but CAP Orange Mango I don't have. Eight mango flavors I do have and you pick one of the remaining two or three I haven't bought yet. I hope some people do make it though because it's probably delicious. FA Fuji is so good. It's so simple and versatile, but complex at the same time. Loaded with undertones of its own, it's fun to accentuate some of them, cover others, and add more.
When I needed to quick-mix a fruity shake n vape, for example when suddenly found I was going to be out in the heat and custards would be icky, or I was spur-of-moment going out drinking and needed to shake something up with a higher-than-my-normal nic level, standalone Fuji used to be my go-to.
I think the point of the shoutout, at least in my mind is that without that recommendation I probably would never have come to make this recipe. In a way you caused it to happen.
Off topic for this thread, but do you have any experience with CAP Glazed Donut or Sugar Cookie?
It makes me happy that I caused you to create a recipe that you're enjoying, I just don't want more credit than I deserve.
I love CAP Sugar Cookie. It's delicious and extremely versatile. I consider it a staple, a must-have flavor.
CAP Glazed Donut tastes almost exactly like Play-Doh. I ate enough Play-Doh in my kindergarten days, I ought to know. Anyone who says differently has a very different palate than I do, or is lying to you.
I love you, ID10-t. You and your recipes. You want to be a bride? Marry me, bro. Just do it. We'll move to NZ and start a business together. "Idiot and Ginger's Juice Emporium". We got dat fire, yo. Everyone will want our juices in and around their facehole. EVERYONE.

Moved here due to mod request. Flavor percentages are based on tweaking the formula each time I mixed it--I tweaked the volumes and then figured out the percentages based on that (which explains why they appear "weird").
I'm not a mixing expert--I just took a basic formula and started mixing it 30 ml at a time. Once I knew it was something I could enjoy long term, I upped it to 500 ml per batch, and then I was able to really see what a little bit extra here or a little bit less there would actually do. The peppermint was difficult to figure out because after adding too much, it became muted, so I dropped it way back down. (In fact, I dropped all of the percentages down over time to what they are now.)
I started entering my mix notes in June, but I've been running this basic formula for more than a year. (Note: this is for lung hit devices. I haven't tweaked it yet for MTL--it's far too weak.)
As you can see, I mix it 500 ml at a time, and that lasts me about a month. I hope you guys like it, and feedback is greatly appreciated. Cheers!

This will probably get overlooked but just wanted to share another recipe with you guys. Lately I've been hankering for a good tobacco vape, but not a smoky, ashy tobacco by any means. I wanted a smooth tobacco, with hints of cream, chocolate, nuts and coffee. So without ado, here's Tobac Coff
FA Cappuccino 1%
TFA Fudge Brownie 2%
FA Nut Mix 0.5%
FW Hazelnut 0.5%
FA Vanilla Bourbon 1%
FA Caramel 0.5%
FA Soho 8%
TFA Double RY4 3%
Needs to steep for a good week or two because bacco. But what you get is a robust tobacco with underlying, subtle notes of chocolate, nuts, vanilla and caramel. Hope you guys enjoy!
White Gremlin Variation
- Vanilla Cupcake (TFA) 10%
- Strawberry Ripe (TFA) 6%
- Shisha Strawberry (INW) 3%
- Milk & Honey (FLV) 0.5%
This is how I modified the recipe for White Gremlin because I didn't get much strawberry with only Strawberry Ripe, and I don't have FW White Chocolate so I used a touch of FLV Milk & Honey for its chocolate notes.
The Milk & Honey is too upfront at first but after 3-4 days, it blends nicely with the other flavors and the strawberry comes out more. I think the Vanilla Cupcake is just right at 10% but feel free to adjust the other three to your preference.
I fell in love with flv milk and honey. I use it in my yogurt recipe.
Do tell do tell!
I picked up the FLV Honey Bee and the FLV Milk & Honey. I started out messing around with the Honey Bee, but gave up due to it being so strong and not what I expected.... I've meant to get back into it, but just have been working on other flavors instead recently)
I have yet to give the Milk & Honey a honest try after the Honey Bee scared me away, and I love yogurt vapes. So I'm definitely interested in any recipes you'd be willing to share with yogurt and milk & honey. I own most all yogurts except for FLV or any obscure companies.
It's not 100% yet but here it is.
Fruit & Yogurt
TPA Banana Cream - 1%
CAP Creamy Yogurt - 5%
TPA Pear - 3%
TPA Strawberry Ripe - 4%
FLV Milk & Honey - 1%
CAP Sweet Strawberry - 3%
Sweetener - 1.5%
Let me know what you think? I'm still messing with it trying to get it down pat.
I can't stand TFA Vanilla Cupcake. It tastes really chemical-ish. Any subs?
Not really since it makes the bulk of the recipe, wouldn't be White Gremlin without it... Feel free to use what you like though but I can't think of anything right now. Or you could give it another shot in this recipe, that shit's really addictive to me once it's aged for a bit.
I know there are a great many apple pie recipes out there including one that is lauded highly here. I found this to be a pretty great mix for just a few ingredients. Better than most commercial apple pies I've tried.
- Apple pie gives us our natural base to the pie
- Cinnamon Danish swirl adds in the buttery cinnamon.
- Double apple gives you those sweet juicy apples.
- Vanilla bean ice cream smooths it all out and pulls it together.
- Sucralose to finish it off with a bit of that sweet apple juice taste on your lips on the exhale.
Pretty good as a shake and vape, very good in about 5-7 days.

Simple recipe I've whipped for my gf few weeks ago. 3 days steep recommended.
Creamy Yog + Cream Fresh + Greek Yogurt + Meringue - Yogurt base, pretty straight forward. Pear + Fuji - FA Fuji adds a little bit of authenticy to Pear, also sweeten and ripen it a bit. Butterschotch + Cinnamon Danish - are adding more sweetened body to whole mix
Strawberry coconut milk (75vg/25pg)
Strawberry (ripe) - Tfa - 5%
Sweet strawberry - Cap - 3%
Sweet coconut - Flavorah - .75%
Cactus - Inw - .5%
Dragon fruit - TFA .35%
Marshmallow - .5%
Cream fresh - FA - 1%
Dx milk - Tfa - 1%
Koolada - any - % to taste (Optional)
have everything except for cactus think it would be good with out it?
The Cactus just adds a wetness to it. It would probably be just as good without it honestly. Let me know what you think if you decide to make it.
delicious receipe i changed it a bit but very tasty. i subbed for JF sweet strawberry same % and i added 2 drops per 30ml of flv coconut
Coconut Dreams
A light coconut-vanilla cream with a hint of toasted almonds. Add 1 drop Koolada per 10ml if you like an ice creamish vape.
Let it steep for a week in order to give that creams some time to play witch each other
EDIT I added 0.25% Lemon Lime to get a little more kick out of the Coconut and imo it works great

NOTES
Coconut Candy:
The best Coconut i've tried so far because it's not too authentic and has a nice sweetness to it.At this percentage it's not too candylike and not too much.it's the right amount to stand up against all those creams
Almond/Toasted Almond/Marzipan: I wanted i hint of toasted Almond at the back of the coconut cream,so here Almond is the base for the toasted Almond to lay on.Just adding more toasted Almond without the normal Almond would be to much in your face. The Marzipan imo is the logic ingredient to use in combination with almond to bring it out a bit more and take away the dryness a bit.
**Bavarian Cream/Cream Fresh/Vanilla Swirl**:
At this percentage Bavarian Cream isn't to heavy and just gives the cream base kind of a milkyness.Cream Fresh Just adds more of a mouthfeel without being too heavy either.Vanilla Swirl is the Vanilla Base of this Recipe. At 4% it's quite subtile so you could probably boost it up to 5% if you want more vanilla.
**Vanilla Custard**:
This was the missing ingredient for the Creambase because it brings together the creams nicely without the eggyness you get from CAP Vanilla Custard
**Graham Cracker**:
This gives everything more body.I know it sounds very cliche but without it there is missing something
**Lemon Lime**:
This is the booster for the Coconut Candy to separate it a bit from the rest
It's been a super busy summer for me, so I haven't been able to be very active the last few months. here's a little something I'd been working on awhile until /u/CheebaSteeba hooked it up with the Thai Chai. I'll include notes later if folks want them, but I'm brain dead as hell tonight. Here's the recipe.

What's FA Tiramisu like?
Raspberry Tea - http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/779189/Raspberry+Tea+v2
TFA Raspberry - 3%
FW Razzleberry - 1%
TFA Sweet Tea - 7%
TFA Sweetener - 1.5%
Raspberry /razzleberry; this combo gives a really good candy Raspberry syrup flavor that restaurants put in Raspberry tea.
Sweet tea; this is amount gives this vape a refreshing tea taste that doesn't overpower the recipe.
Sweetener; this just adds a little extra sweetness to take away some of the bitterness of the tea.
Shake and vape!
Does TFA Sweet Tea hold up after a steep or do you have to shake-and-vape this? I've done some experimenting with it as a replacement for CAP Sweet Tea which is being discontinued, and it seems to be doing a disappearing act over time except as a standalone flavor. But I haven't tried it with raspberry yet, and that might just be due to the flavors I have tried with it.
- Shade (FA) 3%
- Mint (INW) 0.3-0.5%
- Chocolate Deutsch (FLV) 2 drops/10 mL
Tasty juice, it could be better but unfortunately the Shade gets buried under the two other powerhouses that are INW Mint and FLV Chocolate Deutsch. I'll try just one drop of Chocolate next time, hopefully it'll still be there but allow Shade to shine a bit more.

This is a remix of a recipe i saw in the July August thread. It was someone who had ment to make a strawberry cookie and it turned out to taste more like strawberry milk. So I put my own spin on it. I have been trying to clone a house juice from my local B&M and I think after this steeps it will be pretty close. the Strawberry is very light and I think the cream needs to mellow out a bit because it is really heavy. I would love if you mixed it up and let me know what you think!
Alright, this is my first real recipe! It's panned out so far and after steeping it tastes pretty good. It's a cucumber Limeade cooler. The honeydew is in there to balance out the bitter flavors(This will likely be swapped for cactus in future versions)

This is still somewhat of a work in progress as i've just ordered a bunch of new flavors to really make the recipe pop, but this is version one. Let me know if you're brave enough to try a newbies first mix and what you think if you do! Any suggestions on anything for it are welcome.
EDIT: It's also important to note that Lemon Sicily has been reported to crack plastic tanks, so use with caution
Gin! That's it! I messed with a cucumber limeade recently and I really liked the profile, but yes...it could use some Gin! I'm honestly not going to mix your recipe because I have some different players in my stash but thanks for the inspiration and giving me a reason to dust off my FA Gin. Oh yeah, Cactus is definitely a good idea here.
It gives it a nice bite! Just be careful with it in limeade mixes... This was my third attempt. such a fine line between too much and too little here.
Glad to help!
I just remembered. You were in the New Mixers thread! I will have you know then that I was attracted to this recipe profile on 2 separate occasions. I mixed up one version of this already, but it is very much a work in progress. I tried one with some cactus, but didn't include a sweet fruit (like honeydew). I might not end up using honeydew and cactus has a place here, but a sweet fruit of some kind here is a really good idea.
Recipe: The Spirited Custard, v3.0
Ratio: 70VG/30PG
Steep: 2+ weeks
Ingredient | %
---------|---------
Vanilla Custard (CAP) | 8%
Dark Rum (TPA) | 6%
Kentucky Bourbon (TPA) | 1%
After months (edit: nearly a year O_o) of tweaking this flavor, adding and subsequently removing a ridiculous number of flavors, I think I've finally settled on the most basic iteration which still gets the original point across.
This flavor was originally intended to be a clone of my previous ADV, a heavy custard flavor from our favorite dry-knuckled vape demagogue. The original is described as a velvety smooth bourbon custard, but that description doesn't really do it justice in my opinion. The version I spent many hundreds of dollars on before coming to the ~~dark~~ DIY Side was deceptively complex, ever-so-slightly different with each creamy puff. I originally set out to create my own clone of this flavor because the original was absolutely saturated with sweeteners, and rebuilding/rewicking had become a daily procedure to get the best flavor out of that juice. Also, that shit was expensive.
Anyhow, after adding and removing varying percentages of TPA Butter, TPA Holiday Spice, and TPA Jamaican Rum trying to get something close to the original, it always felt lacking. I've since discovered the wonderful world of Capella and was able to simplify the entire mixture within the first three bottles I mixed, and (finally!) without any additional sweeteners. The secret, of course, was those delicious diketones, as well as TPA blessing us all with their new Dark Rum flavoring.
I vape everything at 3mg/ml, 70VG/30PG exclusively, but there's definitely room for adjustment. I'd only warn against foregoing the PG, as even a small amount of PG added to the mixture seems to make a huge difference in the overall strength of the flavor, especially after steeping. If the overall profile is too strong, cut the Vanilla Custard first. If you'd like to avoid the DA/AP, I've also had good results with using TPA's ~~DX Vanilla Custard~~ Vanilla Swirl (though not CAP Vanilla Custard v2), but didn't experiment with it enough yet to provide the best percentage; start at the same 8% and adjust it to your preference.
More Edit: For reference, I've been vaping this on the Limitless RDTA with dual SS316L spaced coils (~0.15Ω), and usually at 60-70W.
Even More Edit (This is my first recipe post): This does have an interesting quality when used as a shake-n-vape (at least to me; I don't mind that odd, vaguely "chemical" taste that comes from the CAP VC prior to steeping), but this really needs at least two weeks to really shine.
- CAP Honeydew Melon 6%
- CAP Cantaloupe 3%
- FA Cream Fresh 1%
- FA Vienna Cream 1%
- Ethyl Maltol (10%) 1%
Honeydew and a hint of cantaloupe with milky cream. I saw ENYAWREKLAW's 'Honeydewwey' (or 'Honeydew Milk Tea') recipe and wanted to try it, but I didn't have nearly any of the flavorings. So, I created my own version and it turned out pretty good on the fourth try, since then this has been an enjoyable ADV for me.
CAP Honeydew Melon is used at relatively high percentage, 6% is needed to let the ripe, full-bodied and authentic honeydew flavor to shine through the whole mix. CAP Cantaloupe complements the honeydew beautifully, it adds depth, juiciness and a bit of candy-type flavor to the linear and kinda boring Honeydew. 3% will do just that, no more is needed.
FA Cream Fresh and FA Vienna Cream make up the background cream note. Cream Fresh was too light on its own and Vienna Cream had too much vanilla; together at 1:1 ratio they create a pleasant milky cream base for the melons. If you're more into vanilla cream/ice cream note, Vienna Cream can be raised up to 1,5-2%.
Ethyl maltol brightens and sweetens the whole mix and adds a little extra juiciness to the fruits. Pretty much anything over 1% will mute the flavors significantly.
A few days of steeping and you're set.
Campfire tobacco Steep 4+weeks
INW Vanilla for pipe 5%
INW Cavendish 1%
TFA Graham cracker clear 2%
CAP Toasted almond 1.5%
FA Marshmallow 1%
TFA AP .5%
Notes:
The tobacco's are the star of this, with INW Cavendish really doing this heavy lifting. IWN Cavendish has a great honey note to it, it's unbearable at first but after a long steep it drops down and the leafy/earthyness of the tobacco really start to break through. The Vanilla for pipe is a much, much weaker tobacco, very strong on the vanilla but had a slight backnote of toasted canvendish. GGC and CAP toasted almond add some body to the recipe by filling in some base notes and giving a toasted effect throughout the whole vape. Top that with some FA marshmallow to give a little sweetness and soften some of the harsher notes, particularly from the IWN Cavendish, as well as some EM to bring the tobacco forward. Finally the AP, you could skip this but I find the grainyness it adds to the GGC fills out the flavor while accenting the tobacco a bit more so you don't end up with something that feels like purely a dessert.
Note the steep, seriously though. When I first started working with IWN Cavendish I nearly tossed the bottle. It's unvapable at first, but some kinda magic happens at 4 weeks and it becomes such an amazing flavor, a leafy tobacco with just a touch of sweetness from honey coming in.
While chasing the ever elusive cereal milk by Milk Bar, I have decided to take a break and mix up a yogurt too. After about 4 iterations, I think I have a pretty tasty vape.
FA Yogurt 4.5%
CAP Sweet Cream 1%
FA Coconut 0.5%
TFA Strawberry Ripe 6%
FA Kiwi 4%
TFA Dragonfruit 1%
Total flavoring: 16.5%
VG/PG: 70/30
The coconut is added to give it a bit more creaminess. You could also opt for FA Fresh Cream at the same percentage. TFA Dragonfruit is used because of its traicetin properties, and it does something special to help blend the fruits and yogurt together.

Here's something new that I've been toying with.
I love the idea of peanut butter, RY4 and cookie recipe so I whipped this up on instinct.
TFA RY4 Double 3%
TFA Peanut Butter 4.5%
FW Hazelnut 0.5%
FW Butterscotch Ripple 4%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 2%
FA Cookie 1%
Total flavoring: 15%
I will say that there is a lot of potential here after a fresh vape and it will only get better with a steep. But you never know with these things so mix it up at your own discretion.
Hey, so I first I want to say thanks for taking the time to post up this recipe. I mixed this up exactly as is, and let it steep about 4 weeks (I have been working on an ry4 mix and 3 weeks is where I find tfa ry4 really gets delicious), and wanted to give you some feedback.
Let me say that I haven't really tried any peanut butter recipes, but had a bottle of TFA peanut butter sitting unopened so this seemed perfect to try it out, since I love tobacco / dessert flavors.
Here's what I liked about the recipe: I thought it was layered pretty well. It had peanut butter on the inhale and exhale. The RY4 was sitting fairly nicely in the background, and the FA cookie played fairly well with the Peanut butter to give it a bit more body. The vanilla swirl and butterscotch ripple added a nice, rounded caramel and vanilla flavor throughout.
Here's what I will probably try to change next time: The main problem for me with the recipe was the dryness of the peanut butter. It just seemed to be more nutty and powdery (if that makes sense) than I was looking for. I was hoping for that hydrogenated shitty Jiffy peanut butter i bake cookies with, but I felt the result was closer to a dry organic peanut butter. The butterscotch ripple and vanilla swirl offset that dryness, but it was still present throughout for me. This dryness is also something I run into with TFA ry4 in my own recipes. I think after a long steep it ends up with a nice vanilla/caramel flavor, but lacks moisture, and I find i have to compensate with other things to get it where I want it. I think the peanut butter exacerbated that quality.
So I'm going to mix this up again, but make a couple of changes and probably let ya know how it goes. I'll bump up the RY4 to 4 or 4.5%. I'll drop the Peanut Butter to 3-3.5%. I might drop the butterscotch ripple to 3%, and change FA cookie to CAP sugar cookie to 3%. I'm hoping those changes together will create a more dense, moist peanut butter cookie flavor as the main profile, with the ry4 as a slightly more pronounced base for it to sit on.
Again, thank you for posting this recipe! I'm looking forward to playing with it some more, because I really liked the overall profile. I hope these comments aren't taken as criticism (in a bad way), but rather just my thoughts on the recipe and how I'm going to try to tweak it with a specific goal in mind.
Cheers!
Hey, thanks for the feedback! I think the inherent problem with TFA Peanut Butter is exactly what you mentioned. It has an underlying dryness that's almost powdery, something I can't seem to get rid off. If you're looking for a multi-faceted peanut butter, I recommend combining TFA with CAP's version. However, do note that capella peanut butter needs a long steep time, otherwise it will come off tasting burnt.
CAP Sugar Cookie is a great bakery note to add, with underlying nuttiness which may help complement the PB. Might I also suggest increasing the FW Hazelnut to increase the creaminess and help tame the peanut butter a little.
Looking at the recipe again, there's not much I would tweak. Aside from maybe subbing TFA Vanilla Swirl for CAP Vanilla Custard at the same percentage. That works as a thickening agent to help bolster the creaminess of the peanut butter.

I've been mixing dozens of variations of S&C since the release of Mustard Milk as it's fantastic and just wanted a more strawberry sundae taste. I have reached my goal. This is a heavy strawberry cream with a spoonful of coolwhip and strawberry sauce. Thank me later.
ShakeNVape approved.
- 5% - TFA - Vanilla Bean Gellato
- 2% - CAP - Vanilla Whipped Cream
- 1% - TFA - Strawberries and Cream
- 2% - CAP - Sweet Strawberry
- 4% - FLV - Strawberry Filling
Half-assed notes:
Strawberry - Strawberry filling is fantastic. It reminds me of the inside of a strawberry toasters struddle. I wanted to balance that artificial taste with some more realistic sweet and fresh berries and I think the Cap sweet strawberry works really well to do this. To balance the 2 and blend with the dairy I used the TFA strawberries and cream as the bridge (this is a great blender).
Cream Base - VanillaBeanGellato is a difficult one to work with at times but mixed with the whipped cream it provides a creamy thick base that tastes like vanilla ice cream with coolwhip topping.
Enjoy! You can thank me later. It's a great shakeNvape but steeps really well and after day 2 all the sharp notes are gone and you are left with a really well balanced S&C.
Oh, almost forgot Thanks to /u/fizzmustard for the inspiration.
Caramel Cinnamon Roll Clone
Ok here goes...
I found a flavor I absolutely LOVE from True Drips called Caramel Cinnamon Roll.
This is an absolutely ADV for me. It's sweet, creamy, fluffy but thick at the same time. I've tried numerous aromas and have used lots of different aromas, but stopped at this, which is a perfect clone. So simple as well.

Very good shake and vape, but the flavors really start to shine after a 5 day steep.

Been trying to make TPA pineapple work for a long time with no success. Whipped this one up today, and as a shake n vape, I'm pretty pleased. We will see how steeping changes it.
