My stevia is due in the mail today and I want to add it to my currently steeping juices. I used to use sucralose at 1 drop per 10ml to get a basic register of sweetness, 2-3 drops would be quite sweet.
Just saw a review of the Stevia here and it talks about using it in percentages rather than drops. Just want to double check that it's quite a bit weaker than sucralose? don't want to ruin any recipes, 2% of any sweetener seems like too much to me.
The Stevia review I did was re 5% in VG so it's half the strength of the PG. so if that was 2% you'd use 1%. Don't measure in drops, measure by volume or weight. I don't find it to be quite as overpoweringly sweet as sucralose and the taste is nicer IMO
cool. Mine arrived and it was actually 7.5% in PG.
Might give it a try at 1%. I put like half a drop on my tongue and it was mad sweet. And incidentally, in that taste test, it tasted just like regular stevia, so it did have the slight anise after taste. But having tried a drop in some test batches of DIY 10ml, I don't get much coming through, so I'm safe to go higher I reckon.
Cheers
