Flavor Properties

A slightly under-ripe mango flavor with a green quality. Not very sweet like the philippine yellow mangos. Authentic mango flavor but missing the intense sweetness and fleshiness of a real juicy ripe mango. There is a nice sweetness however, it’s not completely dry, just not as sweet as the real deal. It’s a nice flavor overall despite its shortcomings and “off-flavors”.

Relatable Flavors

Grocery chain standard sweet mango that got shipped before it was ripe enough.

Off Flavors

It’s got a green flavor that’s probably not what you are looking for if you want a pure mango vape. It’s also slightly floral. These may or may not be off flavors to you.

Position In The Recipe

This flavor is a solid authentic mango flavor but it needs to be brightened up with some other fruit or mango to provide the ripe mango flavor and sweetness that most of us probably think of when we imagine eating a mango. Not a standalone flavor but would be good layered with other tropical fruits.

Pairings

Tropical fruits, other mangos, orange/citrus, apple, banana, stone fruits, berries, vanillas, cinnamon, mint, clove, anise, ginger, gelato, creams, boozy flavors (rum, champagne, etc.).

Notes

I’ve seen it used at much higher percentages but with the strength of the green flavor and floral notes here it might get a bit wacky if you go too high. I’m running a pretty hardcore flavor build with no cotton and tested with 50/50 VG/PG so it might be a bit more tame in a max VG mix or on simpler build, and cotton or other wicking material might mute/alter the flavor a bit as well. It’s not perfect, but there is something nice about this flavor even standalone, but it’s not an ADV by itself.

Fun fact: Inawera is actually pronounced Inavera according to some post I saw on the internet a while back, which may not even be true, but it sounds cool so rock and roll.

Recipes A few on ELR

This is my first time using this one so nothing from me yet in this case.

Dry, green, floral... Sums it up pretty well, thank you. You likened it to an underripe mango - I would go a step further and say it's biting into an underripe mango without peeling it first. If all you have are CAP Sweet Mango and TFA Mango, a very small amount of INW's can help bring some brightness those lack. But if you're looking for a great mango standalone flavor, skip this one and...

Do you have a moment to talk about our Lord and Savior FLV Mango?

Is FLV mango really that good? Only thing keeping me away is the price. Have heard amazing things about it.

I made some mix I found on elr that was like 5-6℅ of tpa mango, 5-6℅ of cap sweet mango, and 1-2℅ inw mango and it's good but it's oddly harsh for me. Does FLV go well as a standalone / how is the throat hit compared to the three mango recipe? I absolutely adore mango and the throat hit of the three mango recipe leaves me saddened because I want to like it so much

It really is that good. It's the only mango flavor that really hits all of the right notes that you expect from a mango. The closest you can get to it is by combining other mango flavors together like that ELR one you made (but that one, up to 2% INW? To hell with that. 0.5%. maybe 1%). I've tried it at 1, 3, 4, and 5% standalone. I was surprised by how present it was at just 1%. At 3% it tasted very good. 4% would be as high as I would want to mix it with other flavors; so far in my experiments even that seems to be too much. 4% is also what I'm about to mix 30mL of because I just want to have some standalone on hand now that all my testers are long gone. It's just delicious. I did not get any "off" flavors at 5%. I will say that even though it is way better than all the other mango flavors because it does hit every note (and plain tastes better), the notes are not as perfectly balanced as I'd like them to be. It lacks just a little boldness in the bright, sharp top notes and overdoes the creamy bottom note just a tiny hair. That is more noticeable at 5%. /u/kirkt apparently vapes it standalone at 6% all day long. I haven't tried it that high yet.

Some people have complained about throat hit from CAP Sweet Mango and/or TFA Mango, so you're not alone. They're noticeable but not unpleasant to me, I think it affects different people differently. I would say FLV has a slight throat hit but if you're bothered by CAP Sweet or TFA you might find it a notch or two above slight, maybe mild or mild-to-moderate.

INW Mango was probably 1%, I said 1-2 as a gauge because I did not have the recipe infront of me and was too lazy to find it haha.

But that's really interesting about the FLV mango with the throat hit. I'm gunna try the 3 mango mix again because I made a 30ml of it about a month ago and haven't really touched it because it was too harsh. Although I think when I made it was around the time I had a nic issue.. hmm..

But regardless, I'm probably gunna try picking it up because while it's $7.50, it comes in a 15ml and even using it at 3% will take a while to drain the bottle. Plus I've got some others I've been meaning to order. I don't think I can go through life without trying everything that is mango

Yes, that's true. I'm Polish and we're pronouncing it just like "inavera".

In Sweden, we even refer to the letter W as double V, not double U, and in the days of old it was often used in place of a single V, to be fancy I suppose.

Same here - w is double v. Currently in Poland people are doing exacly opposite - they're sometimes using V instead of W to pretend that they're more "western"...

So like, 97 VG 3 Flavor? How does that even work, what with pure VG being so very thick?

Bull city vapors are great, but there is currently a 60% off sale on INW flavours at RTS vapes and I think the prices are initially higher but after the discount its a steal. I got 320ml for 43 bucks. just fyi

Good looking! I just ordered a few on my wishlist, Cherry, Cola, Cherries and Orange. All 30 ml, $23 shipped. Wish they had more shisha selection though.

Cactus is a fun one. I love/hate it, since now it sticks out to me like a sore thumb any time it's present. I'm going to try experimenting with very small dilutions and see if still it has any effect. BTW my order from RTS already got here. Just made a test run cherry vanilla coke. Needs to age though methinks.

Bought this. Haven't mixed with it yet... But I can imagine what you're describing to be true just by the scent. However, I usually mix one than one version of a fruit for my ideal blend anyway. So I'm thinking Sweet Mango and this may work well.
