Here to announce my new coil-wrapping, puffs-left-counter, powerbeast iOS app, soon to be DIY-Juicing, Vizmo.
Ever since I was a kid I really had the dream to create something useful enough for people to be using everyday. Now I can't say I'd ever thought it would be a vape tool-kit, but I can't complain. I know that Android OS has a very nice vape tool app, but iOS doesn't really have much -- forcing vapers to use websites on their phone which requires data. Now if you're like me, I was tired of using my data to get this information everyday so I decided to create my own vape tool-kit which is native for iOS. I spent several days pushing this project, and finally have something that works.
I will continue to update this app, by adding new tools to it. I would love it if some of the iPhone users in this subreddit could try it out sometime and give me their opinion as it will help me improve this app for myself and hopefully others that begin to use it.
TLDR; Dream to create an app, finally did it.
Now time for the good part, the features.
The app consists of five main sections
-
Ohms's law, simple resistance/voltage/current calculator
-
Coil Wrapping, the core of the app - the magic. Here you can choose your certain material (wire type) you would like to use, currently the app supports stainless-steal, titanium, Nickel, Nichrome, and obviously Kanthal. If you request a material I'd love to add it. It also supports various setups (more in the pro app), diameters of the wire in AWG (more in pro app), target resistance, inner diameter.
-
Coil Wrapping continued, the free version allows you to read the number of wraps to wrap around the drill bit, but the actual length to trim the wire is a pro feature. There is also a section for heat flux for those of you who are looking to find a cold/medium/warm/hot vape.
-
Fraction2Dev, simple fraction to decimal calculator great for the inner diameter of the object you're wrapping around, once you hit the calculate button, it's copied to your clipboard which you can just paste into the section you want.
-
Battery, this sections goes over battery draining details, and estimated runtime/# of puffs you can take, and also lists the amp limit.
-
Mixing House, the Mixing House section allows you to become a chemist and start building your own flaves, using certain base levels and flavors. (free vesion is restricted to three flavors)
Unfortunately, I have to make money somehow so I implemented a very small ad banner at the bottom on the free version, and restricted very minor details. However if you wish to remove these and support me through the development of this app then please buy the full version. :)
I don't have much else to say, if you guys have any questions feel free to ask me. Please give feedback. :D

NOTE: MIXING HOUSE IS HERE! :) here's a screenshot
Apple will never approve your app.
It's very possible you're right, however all I can do is hope.
EDIT: you mean the mixing section right?
There's a few vape apps on iOS like vape boss. They were obviously approved so hopefully u have no issue
Edit: grrrr gotta update my iOS to use it, BUT that's okay I'm sure it's not your fault and I was due for an upgrade anyway, now I have a reason to
So, to all of you that send me email every ding-dong-diddly day, asking me to please produce an iOS version of all the flavors....
It'll never happen unfortunately, and this is why - hundreds of hours of work, and Apple might shut it down the next day.
I downloaded the app from the store and compared the calculations in the mixing house portion of it against ejuicemeup and recipe calculator and it seems off by almost a ml. 60/40 blend with 6mg strength. 30 ml size, Nic strength is 60 mg/ml and 20% all pg flavoring I get: Base: 3.00mL Pg: 9.72mL Vg: 11.28mL Flavor 1: 6.00mL From the app. Other programs call for: Nic 3 ml Pg 9ml Vg 12ml Flavor 6ml. Just pointing it out, other than that pretty solid app!!!!!!👍👍
