I noticed lots of hype was going around mothers unicorn milk on the e juice recipe site but no mention of it here. Just wanted to see more opinions of it here. How does it compare to other strawberry creams/custards/cheesecakes?
Are you possibly a time traveller from last September?
Mmm can't find any post on here regarding mothers unicorn milk at all
Mother's unicorn milk isn't a thing.
Mother's Milk & Unicorn Milk are, however.
Tl;Dr they & their clones are pretty shitty.
The clone isn't a leak, it's a sub-par recipe created by someone who figured out(something that had been known for years) that Cuttwood uses only CAP flavorings and tweaked /u/notcharlesmanson's unicorn milk clone to use only CAP flavors.
If you want the best, go with the one manson made.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww <3
The leaked unicorn milk recipe on ejuice recipes appears to be the actual Unicorn Milk recipe. I tried them both side-by-side and there's no difference. Even Wayne confirmed them to be exactly the same. It's never been my favorite juice (even when I used to pay $20 a bottle for it), but I still make 120ml of it every month or so just because it's solid.
Mother's Unicorn Milk is twice as good to be honest. Not as heavy, more of a rich bavarian cream strawberry flavor, easy ADV territory. It really is a mix between mother's and unicorn milk. Much easier and cheaper to make as well being as it's got less ingredients.
You won't be disappointed with either. Both are great.
Wayne has walked back his initial exuberance on that assessment. :)
Fair enough. I still tasted no difference between the two besides the high amount of sweetener in the original. Was never a huge fan of UM anyhow so maybe I didn't put much effort into it. The base is solid though.
I've made a mock up of that "leaked" recipe for a few folks because it's what I had at the time, and was told it was actually better and had more flavor than the original by all of them. Same percentages, just subbed these flavors:
CAP VCV2 instead of v1,
TFA Sweet Cream instead of CAP Sweet Cream,
CAP French Vanilla V2 instead of CAP VBIC,
and TFA Graham Cracker Clear instead of CAP Graham Cracker.
That being said, it's honestly pretty hard to screw up a strawberry and cream recipe.
Thanks I'll give that a shot!
Yea it's hard to screw it up, but it's also hard to really get a perfect one. I'm still chasing the cream base from Boosted and the Strawberry flavor from PR Strawberry Ice Cream. Those are the two best S&C flavors I've ever had and I just can't get there....
Actually, /u/tranceinate brings up a great point, which is that there are far better mixes out there.
Like Cliche by /u/skiddlzninja .
I love skiddlz, but damn that raspberry, it takes over the entire mix, like the grapefruit of the diy world. Quince however, great addition.
Check out Nerd Rage. It's taken over cliche's spot in my rotation.

Just my 2 cents, the "leaked" recipe of Unicorn Milk is one of the best DIY recipes Ive ever tried. After 2 months of stepping it really shines. I did mix yesterday ninjas Nerd Rage, very nice right after mixing, it will probably get even better after several weeks of stepping, will let you know.
You want mustard milk, it's two ingredients and tastes better than either.
Tfa strawberry tastes like shit to me and a lot of people I know.
Tastes like sweaty socks loaded with cornstarch which sucks because I know a lot of people really love it.
