Sweet cream [TFA]
submitted about 9 years ago by Chrisdvr1Proud Sidebar Reader!

Setup

RDA/ Velocity Coil/ 6 Wrap Single Fused Kanthal Clapton 2×26 core 32 wrap W/ 45 Wicking/ Full cotton bacon v2 Ω/0.26

Testing

Steep Time/8 weeks % Used/ 6 PG/VG 50/50 Nic%/0

Mouthfeel

Heavy on the tongue and nose, with a smooth and dense mouthfeel 8 out of 10.

Throat Hit 1/10

Flavor Properties

This is a very dense flavoring  but surprisingly light on the butter, very creamy with no vanilla, also slightly nutty, and has a savoury cheese flavoring.

Relatable Flavors

Reminds me of heavy whipping cream lightly sweetened, with a handful of Parmesan cheese.

Position In The Recipe

I can see this working as a bass note or as an accent,

I believe as a base base note its applications would be something along the lines of an alfredo, or cream soup recipe.

As an accent use it to height and other creams, and bring out buttery cheesy notes.

Pairings

The first thing that comes to mind is  savory flavorings, followed by creams, Stone fruits, berries, and bakeries.

Notes

Comparison to cap sweet cream, similar yet different, this is definitely cheesier, heavier, on the dairy and slightly more dense.

No Wikipedia on this one, but here's a link to make it easier to find.

So, sorta salty-ish cream...?

LOL I would have to taste jizz first to confirm that, and although I love this community I've gotta draw the line somewhere. But feel free and report back.

Btw, how's the tomato soup recipe? Did you actually make this?

Yep it is really good, kind of strange I'm sure not too many people are going to mix it. FA black pepper is crazy strong.

Is the recipe public? If so where can I check it out? Probably won't mix it up but I'm curious to read some notes or at least see what flavorings go into it.

I put black pepper (and salt) on cantaloupe and the result is fantastic. I wonder how a very tiny amount of FA black pepper would complement something like INW Melon or a cucumber-melon vape.

This one gives me a rubbery taste if I use it above 3% without steeping. After a steep, it goes away.

You'll get less of a foot fungus flavor and more of a heavy whipping cream at 2 to 3 percent.

Nice pic, perv.

Spot on, TFA Sweet Cream is a surprisingly cheesy, savory flavor. I'm not a fan, I can't find much of a place for it. My original hope was for it to be more buttery, ala CAP.

Damn, I just got a 50ml bottle of this, and was definitely not expecting it to taste like you describe. Now I wish I didn't buy it.

Use less than 6%. It gets cheesier and changes from sweet cream to sweat cream as you go up in % used.

I've mixed 1 part tfa sweet cream with 3 parts tfa peanut butter. I use it as the peanut butter for a peanut butter banana thing I make and it tastes good. It is possible that other, sweeter flavors have helped conquer the cheesy taste. I remember thinking it smelled like sour milk when I first smelled it.

Check out FlavourArt Italian website, they have all sorts of "meat" flavors.
