Earthy Flavors?
submitted about 9 years ago by tunafishtroubles

I'm looking into finding cedar and pine tree concentrates or anything else earthy. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with some?

Try:

  • INW Rosemary

  • TFA Mary Jane

  • FA Zen Garden (this is a little brighter than the others)

Nude has a Patchouli Vanilla you might want to try as well.

I've heard I'm alone, but I have always thought TPA's Mary Jane tasted like pine.

You're not alone, that's its selling feature IMO.

Makes me want to make an IPA vape, just to say I did.

Could someone please explain what "earthy" means? I have a hunch what it means but I'd like to be certain about it. (English isn't my native language.)

Earthy is the smell of fresh soil or moss. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I recently attributed florals to like a "bright" earthiness. I would look in to things like Teas or like FLV Yakima Hops; is that kind of in the right direction?

Tfa has a red oak that's okay, potent as hell thou. And in excess it makes a juice feel course and dry, like biting a grape seed.

Inawara little space drop. Smells like potting soil to me, and adds really mellow flavor that I wouldn't know what to call other than "earthy".

Think it's supposed to be a MJ type, but I taste forest or mushrooms more than anything

Taro seems very "earthy" to me. Like a gritty turnup or vegetable. Also cucumber is very authentic and freah.

TFA Strawberry Organic. It's like biting into a fresh strawberry right off the plant.
