Summary
Inspired by /u/skiddlzninja Bangin bourbon bread definitely have to him all the credit. So why take a classic recipe and try to make it easy. Truth is I drunkenly ordered 4 ounces of TFA banana nut bread and had to figure out a way to use it. It worked out well this has been in my ADV rotation for a while now and thought I would share.
VEND | Simplified Bourbon Bread | % ---|---|---- TFA | Banana Nut Bread | 6 FLV | Peanut Butter | .75 TFA | Kentucky Bourbon | 1.25 NN | Monkfruit | 1.5
Base
- Banana nut bread +peanut butter
Banana nut bread by itself is kinda mhee, decent banana flavor, kind of nutty just banana bread nothing spectacular, but with the addition of peanut butter it becomes thick, moist, and oily, the peanut butter really highlights all the other nut flavorings, filling out the the banana bread and giving a great smooth mouth fill.
In the words of my favorite fat bass fisherman this combination is sick as tits.
Secondary Note
- Nude nicotine monk fruit sweetener
This is a fantastic new sweetener I've been really enjoying with fruit flavorings, adding earthiness and bring out the natural sweetness. This works in combination with the banana nut bread and peanut butter to really complete the illusion of a incredibly tasty banana nut bread.
Supporting Cast
- Kentucky bourbon
As stated in the original this flavoring ads warmth giving the illusion of a fresh baked banana nut bread. Also found it adds some musky and savory notes really finishing out the recipe and giving it umini.
Subs
If you don't have the new monk fruit sweetener from nude nicotine sucralose will do. I've tried it with both like the monk fruit is better, but I feel sweetener is necessary to give you that overly ripe banana sweetness.
Aging
Shake and vape./ Really good.
3 days out/ This really takes shape goes from really good to really fucking fantastic!!
1 mouth out/ Surprisingly enough a 200 milliliter bottle did make it this far out the, flavors don't develop much more after the 3 day steep but no perceivable fading of flavoring overtime.

God I fucking hate you so much Chris.
Did the formatting get changed? Tried to make a table didn't work.
But in all seriousness, thank you for this. I've been wanting to make a simple bourbon bread, but with how it's balanced I don't want to ruin what is(in my opinion) near perfection.
Little tip: if you want people to visit your ATF page and subscribe, put the link at the top and the text recipe at the bottom. People are lazy.
I was thinking of trying an alternative to sucralose as I do like a drop or two in my DIYs. Do you reckon the Monkfruit would be less likely to have the negative effects associated with sucralose? I reckon it might have upset my lungs and some people say it gives them a headache. Any experiences either way?
I can't vape/consume sucralose and have found Monkfruit and Stevia to be wonderful sweetener alternatives. They are supposed to have a much higher temperature resistance before degradation and molecular breakdown, 1100F according to NN.
Thank you for the recipe!
Before I mixed it up with my substitutions I just wanted to check with you guys, I have TFA Peanut Butter and TFA Sweetner
Would the percentages stay the same 0.75 and 1.5 or would you adjust?
A nice, simple, banana nut bread vape. It's got the warmth from the bourbon, nutty and breadiness, and a touch of sweet banana. It's obviously not quite as nuanced as Skiddlz' Bangin' Bourbon Bread, but makes for a nice bakery ADV. I think this is an absolutely perfect use of the Monk Fruit, especially since we haven't seen much use from it as of yet. It brings a touch of sweetness to the mix, but I feel its main duty here is to bring forward the Banana flavor that's just kind of hanging out in the background of the TFA Banana Nut Bread with the inherent fruitiness it brings to the mix; without it, the banana would get lost. Kudos on that.
The only criticism I have on this recipe is that with a high % of TFA Banana Nut Bread it can be a little scratchy, especially if your throat is a wimp like mine. Switching from a smooth creamy vape to this can make that very noticeable, but after vaping it for a few minutes I don't find the throat to be irritating. A steep also really helps tame the throat a bit, so if that's a concern, give it a good 3-5 day steep.
This is a prime example of adaptation and simplification, very well done sir.
