I have been mixing for almost a yr now and generally mix up about 100ml at a time. I vape about 15mls a day and have never tried any of my juices over a week old.
Anyone else a lazy shake and vape mixer?
My roommate and I did exactly this for a while too. We would make up a couple 30mls so we had flavors to switch and then would vape them in a few days. Never got around to letting them steep. Our solution was to buy a 12 pack of 120ml bottles and make a bunch of juice all at once so they had time to sit around and steep. Super worth it too.
Yeah, I'm a lazy shake and vaper but I usually mix up ~300ml of different flavours at a time to avoid vapers tongue.
Yea, I suffer from vapors tongue alot. Maybe I'll make up a few large batches tonight.
I've never actually had a recipe that i have created get better after a week steep. 1-3 days alot get better as the flavours mellow out.
I'm 99.9% sure that this is a user error though, I'm still learning my creams and bakery. I mostly mix fruity though and very rarely do they need longer than a day to become the dogs bollocks.
Dunno if this is appropriate, but do you mind maybe sharing some of your favorite fruit mixes? I'm having a hard time finding fruit recipes, e-liquid-recipes are mostly filled with custards and creams.
Hi, i'm by no means a 'pro'. I've only been mixing for 7 months. So there's my disclaimer haha. Notes will be on ELR, if any :P

I just mix 500-1000 mls at a time. The first bottle is shake and vape and the rest get to steep.
I'm still trying to find the few recipes I love enough to warrant mixing in the 100mls. Then there are the recipes that I do love but am always low on concentrate and end up making 30ml. Started using JuiceCalculators inventory to keep track of how much of certain concentrates I have
Since I got into DIY, I've made at least twice as much juice as I can vape before I make more. I have 25+ juices to choose from every day, with recipes and development notes on all of them as they steep. I wouldn't have it any other way. If you are going to bust out your mixing gear, you might as well go all out. A lot of times I get home from work around 5, and mix until I go to bed at 10. I also tend to spend some time at work coming up with recipes.
to be honest, i never really experimented with making my own recipes. I generally just go to eliquid recipes and buy the flavors for the top rated recipes. Not only am I lazy, but unoriginal. I will occasionally run out of a flavor and sub w/e else I think is a close match in though.
Not so much lazy as impatient, I've tailored my berry and fruit recipes to be shake and vape. The advantage is that I never have to wait, the disadvantage is that some turn into soap after a few weeks :P
Creams and bakery is a whole other matter.
