I don't get the point of this sub if people are just going to complain that there's too much new and relevant content.
I don't get the point of people using logical fallicies to support their argument, while really doing nothing to further the conversation.
I don't get how the prospect of browsing past page one can induce such frustration in someone that they would feel the need to make a post about it.
You're literally complaining that people are making too many contributions to something which is, as far as I was aware, here for the sole purpose of sharing experiences, information and knowledge related to DIY eJuice, a process in which it's recommended to begin with by testing single flavours. All at the same time as cluttering the place up with what it's nothing more than a meaningless rant.

As far as I'm concerned, I've gotten my answers and opinions from others in this thread. I do not usually read stickies/the threads leading up to these kind of events because I didn't have time to lurk for a while. To the people who made this easier and offered alternative solutions, thanks

While it's definitely a trend right now, all of these posts will help future searches for a single flavor actually yield a result. If people chime in on the comments of these reviews with differing opinions, the reviews will help a lot of people that don't have the time to do all the research themselves. I agree that the sub is looking a little cluttered this morning, but it's for the greater good long term IMO.
Yes, yes we do. It's one of the best things to happen to this sub and its long over due. It might clutter up the front page now but will provide valuable information for mixers for a long time to come. I hope it continues and even increases.
I'm sorry if I put these reviews in the wrong place. I thought this was a diy eliquid forum. Been a lurker for a long time, but just started interacting. If you would like to direct me to the correct place for submitting flavor reviews, I will go there in the future. Also brings another question. If I have flavor notes on another flavor that already has a review from someone, do I just post my notes in the comments section of that previous review? I've been trying to play around and figure things out, but a lot of info in the sidebar.
It's not that you're in the wrong place, it's the amount of posts. I looked at the poster and my first reaction was oh god we're getting spammed.
You're input is appreciated, trust me. That many at once is a lot.
/u/mysticrosell had made a "Mega Review Thread" with all of the flavors contained in one post; people asked that they be individually posted so they could be added to the wiki. An extraordinary amount of work was put in to that.
I think the boon of information outweighs the temporary inconvenience of using your scroll button.
It will be like this for a while until they're caught up. There's a list of all the reviews with links and they're trying to populate it. Eventually they will be pushed back and that page with the links will be the way to find them, besides searching. It's not like anything else is getting posted that you're missing out on :)

Would be nice, but there's not really a way around it while the flavor reviews are trying to get populated. We also do want people's opinions on flavorings that way we can get a good variety of input on flavors. I know a lot of us too will sit down and knock a few out at a time.
There was the /r/cloudcollective going on that was a good place for reviews/notes (and still is), but this sub gets more traffic and has pretty good formatting.
The flavor review wiki is the most incredible piece of information I think I've come across since my journey in DIY and I can't wait to get this sh*t fully populated. Can you imagine being able to find all of the information you need on a flavoring before deciding whether or not to purchase it? ELR is ok but kind of a cluster when it comes to trying to get knowledge on a specific flavoring.
Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the extra input for flavors I'm interested in, but this is straight bombardment.
It's a bit spammy atm, but as long as people check for existing reviews and comment on those rather than posting duplicates, things should calm down soon enough. It boils down to a limitation of the forum that you can't filter posts, at least to my knowledge, and creating a subreddit for every topic here would be even messier.

Yes and No. Yes if you search the form... you have to read for hours. No when you search under Resources - Flavor List - type the flavor name. That has helped me with % in a recipe and single flavor % recommendations.
I was going to PM you, but I might as well just say it here. The "unsubscribe" button is over there near the top of the sidebar. The "scroll down" button is in the middle of your mouse wheel or the side of your touchpad. If you're on mobile, put your finger at the bottom of the screen and drag it to the top. You've been around this sub long enough to know where the majority or the action is. (Hint: weekly/monthly threads) Last month, /u/kirkt stickied a post stating how we were trying to populate the wiki with flavor reviews. That would have been the place to complain.
I'm going to have to ask you to please remove your shit post and maybe also show a little appreciation for the people who are taking time to actively contribute relevant and helpful information to this sub. Tell me you don't read flavor reviews, and I'll call you a liar.
As for /u/mysticrosell, keep up the great work. The majority of us love having flavor reviews, and eventually the Flavor Review wiki will be a hotbed of information, thanks to you and many other valued contributors here.

There is always one in every crowd, and it truly makes me sad that this individual has nothing better to do with their time, and that they are so miserable they have to spread negativity to feel better about themselves. I'm just mad that people have been so heavily discouraged from posting anything that isn't a recipe or flavor review.
However there's only a few different things to talk about anyway so there's no winning.
Flavor discussion is one thing, asking things that are in the side bar or posting flat out dangerous stuff are being discouraged I would think.
I've spent a long time getting into a lot of hobbies by using forums set up like this one and helping people out once I understood things.
Believe me, I know how irritating it gets. I don't mind telling people to do some basic research. You found us didn't you? You're so close to the answers!
This sub is highly organized and the majority of the community wants to keep it that way. We don't need 20 shit posts a day asking why someone's juice is harsh or what strawberry to use for a Unicorn Milk clone.
Flavour is so subjective that i dont trust these amateur reviews as far as I could throw them. Id much rather see them in a stickied thread I could more easily avoid and concentrate my downvotes in.

You've posted 400+ reddit comments in the past month, with 0 contribution to this sub other than about a dozen downvoted snarky comments. A "veteran" such as yourself couldn't bother to contribute a single flavor review, recipe, or answer someone in the new mixer's thread? I mean, really, you're operating on a borderline "troll" status here.
I agree, I am an amateur and you can take my opinions into account or not, it's a personal choice. Because flavor is so subjective, the more people that share their notes, the broader picture overall we get of our flavors we have to work with. One persons opinion is nothing, the more of all our people in our communities are willing to take the time to share together is what is all of our best teachers, and I am open to ALL learning and knowledge. Sometimes the newer mixers say things that make me think of flavors or recipes in a different way, especially flavors I haven't used in a while. I consider their input to be valuable as well. BTW, who gives out titles and judges us amateurs or experts oh mighty one? I feel sad for you that you already have so much knowledge that more isn't of value to you. I hope I never lose the thrill of learning :)
