Flavor Properties
Sweet & sour plum flavoring with a light hint of smoke, giving it Contrast and just the right amount of sour to set off sweet notes. This one definitely has unami sweet savory and delicious.
Relatable Flavors
This reminds me of eating prunes, a great Plum flavoring that is dry and sweet.
Off Flavors
Sweetness dissipates quickly, and you're left with a dry bitter aftertaste, not unpleasant but I didn't feel was a little off.
Position In The Recipe
As a accent should really help dry out a recipe, adding savory too sweet flavorings, and provide contrast. Can also work well as a base note to build on.
Pairings
Other Stone fruits, berrys, tropical fruits, tobacco's, bakeries, and other Savory flavors such as INW shisha Rosemary.

Oooh, interesting, I bet this with Shisha Rosemary or Zen Garden would be pretty interesting! TY for the review. I've heard the smoked plum is a note in the INW Black for Pipe, but haven't tasted smoked plum by itself to confirm or deny
Not getting a lot of smoke off of this. When I tried black of pipe it was super smoky. No way I could distinguish whether the plum was really in there or not but I'll try.
I've been looking for a sour/tart flavor to round out my vast collection of sweet dark berry concentrates. Would you say this is more sweet or more tart? Do you have any other suggestions for a tart flavoring that isn't lemony/limey?
Thanks I just added this to the cart. I feel re-envigorated about mixing again finally. I lost a bit of that initial excitement about mixing for a while, but with all these notes i am seeing now I am definitely ready to jump back in.
Your welcome I think culinary experience definitely helps we're just dealing with totally different ingredients and technique isn't quite as big as a deal as it is with cooking
