Is this a flavor base you created or someone else's flavor base? Usually there will be a recommended % if it's someone else's base. If it's your own adapted from a recipe, just use the base at the same amount as the total you would use in a recipe (or use it at varying %s, that's one of the perks of a flavor base is you keep the ratio but can alter the quantity).

For Example:
If I use a combination of Strawberries in a recipe that are

• TFA Strawberry Ripe @ 3%
• INW Shisha Strawberry @ 2%
• FA Red Touch @ 1%

The total is 6% in a finished recipe. To make things easier on myself, I may make a "Strawberry Stone" out of these 3; when using this stone, I would just use it at 6% in a recipe.

Here is the solution, but not the answer to your actual question. i.e. the recipes instead of the base recipes.

For simplicity sake, move the decimal point of each flavor one place to the left. Does that make that base look more like a recipe now?

There are variables, like total %, but this should get you pretty close, and you may or may not want to tweak anything. If you want, you can post that base up, there are some math nerds here that love that:)

I would recommend using a calculator. Personally, I've grown to love eJuiceMeUp. Free calculator, pretty simple to pick up and use, and it will calculate out all your recipes and convert everything into multiple figures so that you can use a variety of recipe formats that you'll come across whilst scouring the interwebs.

I vape the entire thing, either 10 or 15mL. Sometimes the best ideas for what to do with a flavor don't come to me until I'm down to the last drop.

I usually do 10ml testers. If it's really good I'll hand it off to one off my "tester" friends for some feedback. BCV has them so cheap that the loss of the bottles doesn't cross my mind anymore.

I mix 5ml testers in 10ml bottles, and keep what's left (2.5-ish ml) if I like the flavor as a stand alone. If I don't I just toss the bottle. I take really specific notes (mouth feel, harshness, flavor, and off-tastes) over a two week period; A test with no steep, one after an overnight steep, another three days after it was mixed, and then one week and two weeks after its mixed. I've found keeping such specific notes means I don't need to revisit a flavor, just read what I wrote down while testing.

I feel terribly sorry for you because I love strawberry flavors and TFA VBIC, but I wanted to let you know you're not alone. Other strawberry non-tasters have had some luck with INW Shisha Strawberry and FA Strawberry. TFA VBIC is a very polarizing flavor, you either love it or hate it. There are plenty of you pepper people. Try CAP's version.

I dunno for sure about the nut allergy but I know most allergies involve being allergic to proteins and even though concentrates have some of the same chemicals as nuts, they don't have any proteins, so they should be good. You can try a skin test of a few drops of flavoring and see if you react to it at all.

ECX sells bottles pretty cheap and ships "wherever legal", but no idea shipping cost, or if Austria is on the list. Alternatively there may be local Amazon suppliers in the EU, or you can look for the same bottles labeled for a different use, like "essential oils"

See if you can find something like these and this. The test tube rack fits on my scale just fine. I use the 8 ml tubes but they go much higher. Be sure to match up the diameter of the rack holes and tubes. Inexpensive, reusable , quick and efficient.

Im still waiting for TheCatHimself's pineapple basil gelato to steep, but that recipe calls for CAP golden pineapple and HS pineapple. From what iv heard, that's a great combo of flavors.

I can't remember what episode of the Beginner Blending series (DiyOrDie website) it was that pineapple was the flavor of the week but you should check out the series.

Some people want to avoid them, because they are apparently not good for you although we lack long term studies. I do not avoid them because DA/AP make things delicious in my opinion. It is up to you whether you want to avoid them or not.

I'm not gonna preach and tell you not to do this, but is it really worth it? Sounds like you're going through a good bit of trouble to get this to work is it worth the risk? Even if you got a 30mL bottle to contain the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee, that's not very much considering you won't be going through that much liquid in the time that you can just drink the coffee.

Just drink some coffee, man. Or snort the caffeine powder. That'll get you going!

If you really wanna know more, do a search for "caffeine" in this sub and see what others have said/done.

Did you mix it, and then gone back for repeated shakes? PG is a solvent but it is hygroscopic, which means it works better with liquid components. You might have just gotten your caffiene powder "wet".

Those "energy-boosting" juices are just placebo. You will never get the effect of those ingredients while vaping. It simply doesn't work that way

You could be one of the unlucky ones that can't taste strawberry very well. At 5% each of TFA strawberry and strawberry ripe, you should be getting some sort of strawberry taste. I'd let it sit for a few more days then come back to it to see if that helped at all.

IF you still can't taste strawberry, look into getting INW shisha strawberry, Jungle Flavors Strawberry Sweet or FA Strawberry. I have just a little bit of trouble tasting strawberry and those three flavors I can definitely taste.

Also, in my opinion, the best cheesecake out there is CAP NY Cheesecake. NY Cheesecake mixed with TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust is amazing.

No. IME everything needs to steep together for the same amount of time. Except nicotine. I add it from the start, but lots of people add it after a steep.

Also, the larger the batch size then add more time. 500ml is the largest I have made at once, and it took considerably longer than a 100ml of the same recipe. Now 100-200ml tops for me, and I just make more batches.

I think it helps slightly. I mix a custard liquid that I have a flavor base made for (30mL). If I were to mix the recipe from scratch and let it sit a week, it doesn't taste as "ready" as it would had I used my flavor base. It doesn't cut down curing time drastically, but I can definitely tell the difference. You should try it out yourself with a recipe that you know needs time to steep. Here's one way you can try it out:

Get a bottle of whatever size you'd like (probably best to do 15mL), mix all the required flavors (ONLY THE FLAVORS) at their required percentages into that bottle, label it as "(recipe name) base" along with the date, shake it up and let it sit for a week. After that week (or however long you decide) is up, add your bases and nic. After adding your bases and nic to the base bottle, mix up the complete recipe in a same size bottle, label it and date it. Taste both versions right then and there and take notes to see if you can tell the difference. Let both bottles sit another week and evaluate whether or not you think making a base for that recipe would be beneficial.

Trial and error is probably the only real way to determine if it works. Let us know what you figure out.

This is a pretty vague question, because there are tons of creamy flavors and combinations of those flavorings. However, a good recipe with creamy type flavorings and time will help you the most. Let creamy recipes age/cure/steep or whatever for as long as possible.

I agree 100% with everything /u/goldfish18 said. Especially time. That is prob the most important thing with creamy/custardy type mixes. It is amazing the difference a month or even two months make. I like to make 100mls of my favs, then not touch them for a month min.

Nic is in either vg or pg, or a combination of the 2. And neither will freeze, but vg in particular gets very very viscous. And that is why I recommend pg based nic. It is a lot easier to work with.

Make both and see what you like! Lots of people have said they like ripe at the same % more than regular. Cap should be fine at the same %, but give it a few extra days to steep.
