CAP Golden Pineapple [Flavor Review]
submitted over 9 years ago by wh1skeyk1ngDiketones, Schmiketones

Setup: Plume Veil RDA; dual parallel @ .35Ω; cotton wicks; 45W

Testing: CAP Golden Pineapple @ 4%; Aged: 2 days

Flavor description: Sweet pineapple taste with a bit of added sugar and a touch of subtle tartness. More of a canned pineapple taste.

Off-flavors: Slight notes of oranges, but not unpleasant.

Throat hit: 7/10.

Uses: Great for summertime mixes. 3-5% as a top note or in smaller percentages (0.5-2%) as an accent to other fruits. A must have for a Pina Colada recipe.

Pairings: Citrus fruits, tropical fruits, coconut, light creams or vanillas.

Notes: A bit more robust than INW Pineapple, but a little less authentic. I use it with INW to make a more rounded pineapple taste. Ratios can vary depending on what you're after.

> canned pineapple taste.

Perfect pineapple for bakery recipes that call for cooked pineapple, such as pineapple upside down cake. Much better than INW (fresh, juicy) or TFA (sharp, candy) pineapples for that. I think I'm gonna figure out how to make it into a pineapple fried pie.

by crosstown_rebelover 9 years agoIn a good mood for now - don't piss me off.

I been trying to use this to make a white gummy bear but I should probably get some TFA Gummy first. Lol
