This stuff goes in all my fruit/candy flavors. Just a heads up, it isn't soluble in VG. Once you add it, it'll recrystalize. Heat it up and it'll redissolve. I just shake the bottle before vaping (or skim the layer of crystals with the dropper for an extra cold blast).
My simple ass all day every day flavor is 10% tfa strawberry ripe ~3% koolada. Maybe mix it up with various other strawberry, blueberry or creamy flavors. Mix, shake and go!
Tfa like didn't work 4 me fYI. Great info some mixers are saying but they get a Band-Aid taste at higher percentages. I personally can't stand mint or menthol so I never use the stuff, but for some reason I have it.
I get more of a chemically-treated paper taste (trying to avoid the word "cardboard" just for you), like chewing on a Dixie cup. But only mixed with certain creams. Stuff is great with just fruit/beverage/adult beverage flavor. Menthol without the menth, really more of a sensation than a flavor. Judging by the percentages I see respected mixers using it, I'm extra sensitive to it, so I've made a quarter-strength dilution to make it easier to use less of it. A dilution (or just using about a fourth of what a recipe calls for) might make it work for you.
TFA Koolada 10%
Used to impart a cooling sensation to your juice when vaped. I find that this particular additive tends to work best in fruit vapes. The off-flavor of koolada somehow just isn't as noticeable in fruit mixes compared to when used in creams and dessert vapes. The off-flavor is typically described as chemical, somewhat like band-aids, PG, and alcohol all mixed together. For cream flavors, I use it between 0.125-0.5%. For fruits, 0.5-5%.
I like to put fruits and creams together, pretty much all I vape, and I'd like a cooling finish. What percentage would you put in for a fruit & cream juice?
Depends how heavy the cream is and the ratio of fruit to cream.
When I use TFA VBIC, I use 0.25% max! If it's maybe like 2% cream fresh with 6-8% fruit flavoring, then I would go up to 1-2%.
You just have to work with it and find when you start to get the band aid taste.
I personally don't notice it under 0.5%, but start with a drop per 10mL and work your way up. I find my sweet spot to be about 1% depending on my mix.
To me, this is an amazing addition to most fruit vapes at low percentages. It can totally bring your juice to a new level if you use it correctly. Start low and work up.
I've tried it up to 15%. 2% makes it cool 5% cooler 10% cold 15% ice. Never had off taste but never used in anything except fruits.
