I know this does not belong here 100% but this story is so astonishing that I have to tell it to someone.
I recently bought Rhodonite concentrate from DIYorDIE and just mixed my first batch. Today in the morning I went to my "vaping"room and started vaping rhodonite. My daughter was downstairs (she is 6 years old) and after a few minutes she ran upstairs and said:
"Dad, I really like what you vape. You know, I like these small cakes, with a cake on top, a cake on the bottom and jam in the middle". Here is the Rhodonite product picture: http://i.imgur.com/3Uxm9Z9.jpg
I was like WTF???? She NEVER saw the bottle (the bottle went straight to my cellar) and she never saw the picture on my computer. The liquid is in a brown glass bottle in my room.
Obviously Rhodonite smells exactly like it is supposed to do.
I am still baffled (but know that his was some funny coincidence. No one can describe a flavor that accurate just from the smell.. and for sure not with 6 years).
I told her to draw what she said but first she refused and then she draw a star shaped cookie with jam in the middle because a star looks better... :) http://i.imgur.com/c20u4qK.jpg
anyway: well done /u/Enyawreklaw
Hey thanks so much for the love. What is interesting to me is that I can't really smell second hand vapor. It's like my nose has been ruined by vaping high concentrated aromas all day. But knowing they were able to figure out the recipe by smelling it is awesome. Thanks for the post man, I'm glad you're enjoying the recipe and the concentrates!
I second that, I just got all three of his concentrates from chefs flavours. Couldn't be happier with them. I'm a beginner mixer so to have the 'premium' taste cheap and easily just gives an instant gratification!
It also let me know how good a juice can be when mixed right so its a little bit of inspiration too!
Thanks from me too! /u/Enyawreklaw
Am I being simple here, or are we all talking about this recipe:
Ingredient|% :---|---: Acetyl Pyrazine 5%|0.5% Almond (FA)|1.5% Bavarian Cream (TPA)|1% Cake (Yellow) (FW)|1% Cookie (FA)|2% Cream Fresh (FA)|0.5% Fuji Apple (FA)|1% Meringue (FA)|1% Raspberry (INAWERA)|0.5% Torrone (FA)|0.3%
Could it be that the bakers that make the Rhondonite treats use the same flavorings in their recipes? Could explain the artificial flavorings listed on the ingredients (if they are there).
>Rhondonite[sic] treats use the same flavorings
Considering the fact that macarons date back to the 8th century, I doubt it.
Pretty sure Flavourart wasn't founded until at least the renaissance.

Oh how very wrong you are.. Taste of smell is the strongest from our senses. We remember it the most, and a mere whiff of a smell can trigger childhood memories, tastes and etc.
Sense of smell also goes hand to hand with sense of taste, and can greatly impact and change flavours. There are many experiments about this you can find around :)
