Mouth Feel - Heavy on the tongue and light on the nose. A good thick mouthfeel would give it a 6 out of 10. Moderate throat hit I would say 5 out of 10.
Flavor Properties- Predominantly Ginger flavoring with hints of citrus. (lemon, lime, orange)Bitter, Sweet, and Tart all at the same time. Innowera has a flavor description up saying it includes cinnamon and anise, I'm getting the sense of anise, I don't really taste the cinnamon at all.
Relatable Flavors - Reminds me of lemonade with ginger and an orange twist. ( now all I need is some vodka )
Off Flavors - Lingering aftertaste I don't know if I really say it's an off flavor I'm kind of enjoying it.
Position In The Recipe - Really has a lot of punch going to make an excellent accent, or top note.
Pairings - Going to pair well with almost all fruits providing contrast and enhancing the sweetness. Floral notes are going to pair well such as shisha Rosemary, and dessert flavors such as ice cream or custard may surprise you. Can't believe I'm saying this but I'm going to try it with FLV lemongrass to try and make my favorite creme brulee. (lemon ginger)

Flavor Properties
Herbal, earthy, strong root flavor(duh). Ok, so the anise isn't as bad as I recall it being. Perhaps 50% ginger, 30% anise/fennel, and 20% floral. I'm throwing fennel out there because the licorice flavor is rather fresh tasting, but that just might be because it's being lifted up by the floral and ginger flavoring. The floral flavoring is really throwing me off. I'm not used to tasting flowers. I think it's probably rose, lavender, and a hint of honeysuckle. There's a small amount of cinnamon, cardamon, and nutmeg as well.

No real off-flavor. As /u/Chrisdvr1 mentioned, it has a tendency to linger on the palate, but that's similar to most spice flavorings.
Position In The Recipe
I think it would be best in the background, but could make a decent base in a tea as well.
Pairings
Tea and tobacco. Can't think of much else this would go with. It's a very eclectic mix. Some of the flavors individually would go well in other profiles, but as a whole, not so much.
Suggested Steep Time
Honestly, no clue. Spices normally don't need much time to steep.

Closing Thoughts
It's a very niche flavor. It's not a bad one, but I honestly can't see myself using it. Actually, the flavor is pretty good if you like this kind of thing. It's very well balanced. Not too strong in any one flavor.
Great (honest) review. Interesting how the notes are slightly different from another palate. I wonder if the pg/vg ratios affect the way the subtle notes are perceived.
But I have a small confession; I should have been more specific. I was requesting a review of Shisha Rosemary. lol. My bad.
I mainly got fennel/anise with only a touch of ginger. Not my cup of tea.

Can't remember the name of where I got mine from. It was whoever had that 75% off memorial day sale for INW.
I'm also super sensitive to fennel/anise, so that's something to keep in mind
Another awesome review. I've been wanting to order some less used flavors and this is going on my list. After burning through way more standalone FA Torrone than I originally expected, I am really digging weird and bitter flavors a lot.
Nice! It's part of my favorite tobacco recipe but I always figured people wouldn't bother with this flavor because its so atypical.

I get notes of star anise and black cardamom in addition to what you described. There's some potential here to help flesh out the spice profile of something chai or pumpkin-esque if your mixes need a bit more bb in them.

I've found that the citrus qualities don't really sick around when there are other flavors, especially in a steep beyond 2 weeks.

Additionally it can work very well with the more realistic tobaccos to give them a really heady, spicy top note/accent.

To start you off:
This recipe was what I always wanted Charlie Nobel's Tripoli (spiced turkish tobacco with figs) to be. I found Tripoli to be far too sweet due to the RY4 and wanted a more robust, savory tobacco flavor. This does have some sweetness to it, but its fairly light.

INW Turkish Tobacco- This is a fantastic tobacco flavor. It reminds me of Peter Stokkebye Turkish Export rolling tobacco with strong fragrant, almost spicy top notes and rich earthy notes in the mid range. It also has a bit of a dirty neutral base finish that gives it some authenticity. However it can be somewhat dry and lacks any sweetness or body by itself.
CAP Vanilla Custard- Version 1, in all its wonderful glory, fills out the body of the recipe. It's kept somewhat low because we don't want a ton of flavor so much as the depth and body it gives to the tobacco. V2 might work alright here simply because the steep is so long.
CAP Fig- This flavor is pretty meh normally. Its a sharp, bright fig note that doesn't add a ton of sweetness or depth to other fruits and tends to die in more complex mixes. However, when steeped for a long time and with some help from Exotic Roots, it "darkens" into more of a sweetened dried fig flavor.
INW Exotic Roots- Ups the spiciness of the turkish tobacco, adds some nice top notes, and helps the fig along.
Steep time: This is the bitch of the recipe. INW Turkish Tobacco tastes like weak, shitty tea at first. And by at first I mean for 2 weeks after its mixed. It doesn't start develop properly for at least 4 weeks. I generally make a batch for 120ml of this, leave out the nic, wait 4 weeks, and use that to make 30ml bottles with nic as needed.
