Ok, so my friend last night was talking about making some sort of Tobasco flavor, mentioning trying to make it spicy, and I just laughed, but it kind of made me think. Then I just saw this video, where a guy grounds up some Carolina Reapers, and puts them in some ecig juice and vapes it. He doesn't seem like the brightest of the bunch, and I know this is in /r/shitty_diy_ejuice territory, but I think if done properly it could actually work.
He only used a little bit of juice to mix with it, and I don't think he used any filtration to get the actual pepper ground out of the juice. Maybe if somebody were to take a few jalapeno seeds and soak them in PG for a bit and then take them out, it could create some sort of spicy mouth feel? I don't have any PG otherwise I would be super tempted to try this, I just kind of want to throw that out there, maybe inspire some people to try it. I did some googling and there seems to be a few "spicy" juices, but I'm not really sure its actually the type of how this would be (if it actually worked).
Also if somebody did manage to make some sort of flavouring/spicy concentrate, I will totally vape it and/or use it in a recipe, or even do a cinnamon challenge type video.
If I were wanting to make a spicy juice, I would probably use this. Actually wanted to pick that up with my last order but totally forgot. I think Capella's has something similar too, I'd think it'd be better to try a preformulated extract than trying to do one yourself.
Whoa, totally didn't know that this existed! That's pretty cool, I definitely am tempted to buy this, although I'm not sure as of right now where it would fit into a recipe, but that is pretty rad. It would probably be better yes, but the spiciness is really just from the oils of the seeds I believe, which doesn't seem like it would be terrible to vape, but I could be waayyy off.
I was thinking of like a chocolate with spice might be kind of nice. That's about the only thing I can think of that it might actually work and be more than a novelty lol.
Yeah, I've definitely had a spicy chocolate cake when I was in Arizona, and even Tobasco's spicy chocolate candies, and they are delicious. There's some bell pepper flavoring, that I'm not sure how it tastes, but you could use that along with some spicy to make it really pop, but I wouldn't know how or what to use the pepper flavor with.
I have messed with some spicy additives (to make a Xocolatl/Aztec Chocolate, like others have noted) and what I've taken away is don't. Maybe I was mixing too high (~0.25%, IIRC) or maybe I'm just sensitive but vaping spicy is nothing like eating spicy, when you eat spicy foods the burn is on your tongue/in your mouth/maybe down your throat, vaping puts that in your mucous membranes & your lungs where it's...much less pleasant...
That sounds about right. If you probably diluted it or just used like one or two drops it seems like that would do the trick, but having spicy snot and lungs doesn't seem to pleasant. I'm glad somebody actually has tried it and gave kind of a flavor review, because I was so curious.

I've added this to /u/CWinthrop's Barbecue Sauce recipe at 1% and didn't actually taste/feel it, so, clearly I need to go higher, but, in any case, not weapons-grade or anything.
I sure hope this isn't pure capsicum as the description at the link suggests. That would require you to dilute it, then dilute it again, etc. to be anything other than "military grade pepper spray" flavor
I don't know about purity, but according to a review on High Desert Vapes' site, it doesn't have much flavor but is very potent at 1 to 2 drops per 5 ml: https://highdesertvapes.com/products/Capsicum.html#reviews . Totally not for me, but I'd be less hesitant to vape that than some ground & strained peppers in PG.
