Setup: Plume Veil RDA; dual parallel @ .35Ω; cotton wicks; 45W
Testing: INW Cactus @ 4%; Aged: 7 days
Flavor description: Juicy, wet, fleshy, authentically sweet without being sugary, slightly earthy. Citrus and tropical notes throughout. Hints of a ripe pear or green grape. Almost seems to imply a very subtle cooling effect at the end of the exhale.
Off-flavors: None noticed.
Throat hit: 5/10.
Uses: Brightening up other fruits or adding juiciness. Really brightens up a bland mix at 1-2%. Very stellar as a standalone too.
Pairings: Basically any fruit. I'd even guess this flavor at 4% or more would hold it's own against a heavier cream.
Notes: I've never eaten cactus, which is why it isn't in my description. You NEED this flavor in your arsenal if you enjoy fruit vapes. Buy more than you think you'll use, and don't run out. It's a real gem.
EDIT wording
EDIT 2: I must add that if you put this on your coils, the flavor is probably not going to go away.
INW Cactus is magic.
How would it pair with citruses? My wife is currently draining my supplies of TFA Key Lime and TFA Champagne, and I'm tempted to pick some cactus up to see what it could add.
I read someone taking about this flavor, and just bought a small bottle before it sold out.
It smells fruity, but almost has a little tang or spike to it.. very hard to explain. I haven't made any juice yet, but plan to tomorrow.
What would be a great flavor to pair with it, as I imagine by itself might be odd.
Thanks
I've never tried the combination but Inawera says it goes well with banana.
Banana?! Why hello there, newest project!
>Vape the new Cactus and feel like a real GRINGO! Sweet & Sour Cactus fruit with a hit of Aloe-vera in the background. Brilliant together with Banana. Very refreshing and relaxing. Really good mixing with VPG Power Smoke base with dosage 10 drops on 10ml ready e-liquid. Bottle 10/ 200 drops/ with dropper. Produced in EU.
That's the description on inawerawinkel.com, first time I read it was elsewhere (maybe inawerashop.com) and I've been meaning to try it ever since... That must have been 2 years ago... :p
What do you think about adding it and possibly a mint flavoring to Best Damn Pink Lemonade by /u/Vurve ?
This gets my seal of approval.
I like 1 drop per 30ml
As /u/TheCatHimself is saying, it pretty much go in every fruit recipe.
Edit: Cap cool mint would be best for the mint you asked about
Setup
RDA/ Velocity Coil/ 6 Wrap Single Fused Kanthal Clapton 2×26 core 32 wrap W/ 45 Wicking/ Full Cotton Ω/0.26
Testing
Steep Time/2 weeks % Used/ 1.5
PG/VG 50/50 Nic%/0
Mouth Feel
Heavy on the tongue and light on the nose, surprisingly dense I would give it 7 out of 10.
Throat Hit 3/10
Flavor Properties
Super sweet with an earthy floral accent. Savory and Light with just a touch of bitterness gives it completely and contrast. More of a natural syrupy sweetness like stevia or agave not sugary.
Relatable Flavors Reminds me of drinking agave nectar with a touch of rose water, or orange blossom.
Off Flavors
Honestly I thought the entire flavor was going to be off just sounds odd, but I had to give it a try considering its popularity. ( so happy I did)
Position In The Recipe
This should work killer as an accent, a sweetener, or in a Floral Base.
Pairings
I really can't think of anything this is not going to work with. /u/thecathimself recommended Rosemary and cucumber which is probably the first thing I will try.

would cactus be a good thing to add to counter act the dryness from champagne? I want to make a 7up juice and I heard that champagne turns things a bit dry.
