been hearing some unpleasant stories about Nude Nicotine lately but I was very keen to try their new sweeteners.
Are they still behind? or is anyone else selling good sucralose alternatives?
I placed an order on the 22nd. It wasnt picked up from their location until the 2nd. Not hugely concerning since the holiday I guess. Says it was priority mail. Just got an update today that it hasn't left San Diego yet, 5 days after it was "shipped" priority. Yeah. I'de say they are having issues.
I mix my own erythritol and monk fruit into diluents. Not so hard. Measure, dispense, heat, shake, use.
I gotta say I was very disappointed with the erythritol. I found it no sweeter than VG itself. After a little research it is only 0.65x as sweet as table sugar, which was no surprise. I'm much more satisfied with the stevia/reb-a (it doesn't gunk coils, but it clogs up the wicks over time, slowing wicking). How do you feel about it (the erithrytol)?
ok, now I have to learn more about all this too. I just want the safest option to vape as well as something that doesn't have a funny taste. I used to use stevia in eliquids (and I use it constantly in food) and it's too leafy as a standalone. Like, in hot drinks or desserts it's good to boost overall sweetness but needs to be combined with something like honey so you 'taste' the sweetness of the honey but the overall sweetness is being driven by the stevia.
I don't know what reb-a is?
reb-a is the active "sweet" chemical in stevia. The one from [nude] (https://www.nudenicotine.com/product/stevia-solutions/) , is 97% reb-a, and has no "leafy" taste to me. I actually quite enjoy the sweetness I get from it, at only 1% of a 5% dilution in VG. I recommend giving it a shot. I'm still playing with it as far as getting it to not clog up wicks, but it doesn't char onto coils like sucralose does.
I ordered all 3 of their sweeteners (Monk Fruit, Erythritol, and Reb-A). Took about 2 weeks to get here.
The monk fruit was really super sweet, but imparted a off taste to my mix (Wasn't a bad off taste; just different). I will be skipping the monk fruit as a sweetener myself, but may come back to it and try it in a bakery style juice. Used at .5% (Also I noticed a bit a gunkiness on the coil, but not as bad as using regular sweetener)
The Reb-A (Stevia) was also really sweet but it had a strange "bitter?" taste at the end of the vape that I didn't enjoy. It is better than some stevia sweeteners I have tried, but not something I would use again. Used at .75%
The Erythritol was AMAZING, but required a higher percentage to achieve sweetness. Basicly it's less sweet than other sweeteners, but it has no aftertaste and does not change flavor profile at all. It really is the most amazing sweetener I have tried. That being said I Ordered Erythritol off of amazon and mixed up my own recently. It would be the cheapest route, and probably the fastest way to get some. Used this at 2%.

Thanks for your input on these. How are you mixing up the erythritol? 1/4 tsp to 10ml or so? I got some monkfruit sweetener which is actually mostly erythritol, but will probably just get the pure erythritol. I haven't mixed any up yet. I forgot I had it...
I mix 5% Erythritol in VG. I use a scale to diy with and just weigh out 1.5grams of Erythritol and add 28.5grams of VG. Heat the VG up and shake.
Next time I am going to try a 10% mix.
Ah, ok, makes sense. That'll take me back in time, it's been years since I've used a scale for anything besides juice. Thanks. I just remember the 1/4 tsp thing from people mixing up EM or something. I guess I'll try this monkfruit/erthritol mix first but go ahead and get the straight erythritol too. It'll get used up for coffee if not juice.
I'm really late to this thread but it's been almost 3 weeks and I still don't have my order and they are still lying to me about it. I've called there 4 times, I've emailed, tweeted, and reached out on Facebook. Last week they told me they were definitely shipping it on the 9th, and sent me alleged information about it being prepped for shipping, and then told me it shipped. I've checked their tracking information every single day, and it hasn't moved from San Diego on June 9th. It never even got checked in at a sorting facility. USPS told me today that's because NN sent them the label info, but they never actually gave USPS the package. I called NN again today, pretty irate of course, and they told me oh, we will get it reshipped no later than tomorrow! I didn't even get an argument from them when I told them what USPS told me. They LIE. 72 hours and out the door my ass. If it isn't in the mail and moving tomorrow, I'm demanding money back immediately. I already put an order in with Vape Clarity today. It'll probably get here before I ever see anything from NN. Crooks. Never again.
unforgivable. In this world of great customer service.
Example, ecig.com. They sent me a 30ml juice that was gross, I called up, not even to complain, just to ask if it should taste like this. They sent TWO 30ml bottles as an apology. Arrived 2-3 days later! Class.
Definitely! You just expect to be at least treated with some respect as a consumer. I'm not asking for anything that I don't deserve. Their own site says within 72 hours, but they are unapologetic and refuse to offer an explanation for what is going on, an apology, to try and make it right, or anything. Just more untruths. I feel like they should be classy and trying to do something to salvage my business, not blowing me off when I finally corner them. If you ordered from them, I hope your experience is better than mine.
Update: since I called them yesterday and called them out about my order actually not being given to USPS last week, by some kind of magic, last night they must have given USPS the package, because it's now actually on its way to me and has reached a sorting facility. It took them 2 weeks to allegedly get my order processed last time, but they managed to have a replacement order done and on its way in a hour and a half?! Riiiiiiiiight. I'm guessing they only printed the label the first time so it looked like they were getting it out. Lesson learned. I already put an order in with Vape Clarity last night. I should have enough nicotine to last me 6 months or a year now. Which is great because I live in Indiana and shit is about to get real here in the next 2 weeks. Ejuice will be almost impossible to buy locally, and most companies won't ship here now, and/or are going to stop very soon.
