Mouth Feel - Smooth and super dense heavy on the palate, and light on the nose would give it a 10 out of 10 on the density scale no throat hit.
Flavor Properties- Super Rich cream with a hint of vanilla, a touch of almond, and a very light touch of white chocolate. Slightly eggy, very buttery, and a very light sweet note.
Relatable Flavors - Honesty this is like no Irish cream I tasted before, there's none of the warmth you expect from an alcohol flavor, and nothing like Bailey's Irish Cream.
It's like drinking a glass of heavy cream with almond butter and coco butter whit just a touch of vanilla.
Off Flavors - Almost imperceptible Chalky flavor with a lingering aftertaste.
Position In The Recipe - Being that it is so dense my opinion is that it belongs in the base.
Pairings - Other creams, and ice creams, coffee's, chocolates, vanilla's, the whole list of nut flavorings, ( I'm interested in trying it with pistachio ) spice flavorings like horchata. Try adding a alcohol flavoring such as Kentucky bourbon to finish off the perception of an Irish Cream.
I think the review is pretty spot on. I've never noticed the chalky aftertaste, might just be me.
I had a recipe with HS Irish Cream and TFA Caramel Cappuccino. Cant find my notes, but it was very good.
Nice review. I get that chalky taste from FA Irish Cream too, it's far from imperceptible in that one.
Really? I thought FA Irish Cream was delicious around 2-2.5% mixed with some cake batter. Very subtle flavor as creams are but definitely get a great flavor from it.
Yeah :\ The flavor was pretty good, but I got a chalky taste and pretty bad throat hit when I tried it at the time in various mixes. I'll give it another chance sometime I guess.
I've got a store bought Irish Cream right now. Is it just me, or do they underflavor literally everything at the stores?
When i used to smoke hookah like a cool kid 15 years ago, the flavor was much MUCH stronger, even after passing through filtration and everything else. Ecigs have always been "meh"
