Please flair your posts!!!

I was looking for some flavor notes today, and realized it'd have been a lot easier if the posts were properly flaired. This is especially useful considering the recent influx of flavor notes on this sub.

I'm not sure that everyone knows how to flair posts, but all you gotta do is hit the blue flair button under the main post window.

I tried making them do it, but it had some serious backlash. People don't want the extra two clicks.

I don't see that option in the mobile app I use (which is relay for Reddit). There is no way to flair a post for me. But on top of that, how do you search by flair? I've tried as several times but there is no way to filter it by flair. For instance I searched "recipe" and none of the ones that were flaired recipe came up unless it said recipe in the title.

There is! In the search bar just type in flair:[name of flair]

If you wanted to see recipes then you would search flair:recipe

Does anybody know how to set flares with the Alien Blue app for iPhone? I've read a few posts regarding it, and all them said that you weren't able to. But The posts were from a little less than a year ago. So maybe they've updated it? I'm new to Reddit in general, not just on mobile but the entire thing.

And what if you're on mobile? Maybe there should be an option to flair on mobile then ig. If people didn't post from mobile there would be half as many posts. Sure it may be Herder to find the info you need when people aren't flairing, but what if those people didn't even post because they couldn't flair? You'd have no information.
