Love some Gambit or Mother's Milk but tired of paying a buck a ml? Then you are in the right place my friend. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.
However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Again, why pay $1/ml when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that? Anyway, if you'd like to request a clone, this is the proper place to do it. This post will repeat monthly via AutoModerator.
Happy Mixing!
~~Kind of meta, but if anyone wants to send me a 30ml bottle of a juice that's very popular that other people would benefit from getting a clone of, I will happily try my best to clone it. I only ask that you supply the juice because I know very little about commercial ejuice, and I will almost certainly have to invest in flavorings myself.~~
You can see my recent work in my Watermelon Crack Clone threads.
You get a clone. I get more practice. Hopefully a win/win.
Edit:
For the first one, I've chosen Ahlusion Coconut Boba Tea per ID10T's request. I might be open to one other juice, but don't want to bury myself in work.
Second choice, doing Charlie Noble's Sollers Pointe per Awwsteve's recommendation.
Alright! I'm closing this request for now.
My next paycheck will probably go into this, but it's more of a practice on both of our sides. I'm picking up a local juice that I've been trying to clone and had no success but you're a lot more experienced than I am. So I'll grab two bottles and communicate one to you when I do this.
I'd be happy to send one of Ahlusion's Boba Tea Flavors. I'd prefer coconut but I'd even let you pick between coconut, lychee, strawberry, coffee, and original.
Or, Paradise by Natur. I think I've got a pretty good starting place on that one, but I'd still like to see your best effort to clone it.
Edit: posted the wrong link for Ahlusion earlier, fixed it
Well, you've got me exceptionally curious with the coconut boba tea. I would be willing to give it a try.
PM me an address and your PG/VG and nic preferences and I'll order it tonight. Also, I think they'll include a free sample of another flavor and let me choose which one. But I'd be having it shipped directly to you, so if you want to poke around on their website and list some other flavors that interest you, I'll see if I can get one of those thrown in as well.
You could always dive in on that great white whale known as placid. 😜
In time. Want to get a little more practice before I tackle this beast.
Plus, I have little to no honeysuckle, lime, and pear flavors. Just the staples.
Fizzmustard's take on it is pretty good.
Manggo Boba - Product description: Manggo Boba is a milk tea with sweet and soft mango.
It tastes like super ripe, sweet mango with a little cream in it. Hell, it may just be TPA Mango, some cream, and a shit load of EM :(
I have analyzed this flavor and i think i might know what it contains. I get a distinct cream cheese flavor from it. Tried LA's version but that didn't cut it. Could try one from another company. As for the fruit part, i the flavor closest i'v gotten to was 1% FA Mango and 2% FA White Peach. I know it sounds weird, but i use this in one of my recipes and the flavor is almost identical. As for the rest, i doubt it's a complicated mix. For one, I don't think there is any tea flavor in there at all. 90% sure there might be couple of creams in there (or just the one cream cheese flavor), the fruit parts, and about 3-5% CAP Super Sweet.
I would try ENYAWREKLAW'S Dewey Boba recipe, but replacing the honeydew and cantaloupe with mango. I haven't had much luck with mango flavors, but I can tell you which ones you'll want to avoid. FA mango, has a really strong floral taste. Even one drop in a mix and it's bad. TFA Phillipine Mango is slightly better, but not worthy of being a top note.
I second this!
I haven't tried that juice, but I would really like a recipe for juice that tastes like mango milk tea.
Sounds like it might be CAP Sweet Mango mixed with some other mango. Super ripe and sweet doesn't sound like TFA Mango at all.
Meta : should we maybe require some details on flavor notes rather than just a name drop? Seems odd to put the ball in the court of the one helping to do a bunh of googlefu
Maybe that will increase response rates as well , also perhaps a little about what if anything the person requesting has already tried
That's a great idea. But, this thread seems like just a way to keep the clone requests off of the front page.
Bombies - Cold Press:
"Ruby red grapefruit, hand-picked wildberries, cold-pressed yellow watermelon, and a splash of citrus."
Or something similar. I really enjoy the crisp citrus and general bright flavor. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
AFAIK, INW Melon is the only yellow watermelon available. Doesn't mean he's not layering them, but it's probably in there. I'd also look at FW Ruby Red Grapefruit, but I've never tasted CP, so take it for what it's worth.
Looking for Naked 100 Lava Flow, described as strawberry, pineapple, and coconut. This is the first fruity flavor I've really liked and I'd love to make it myself. Please and thank you!
This. ^^ With all the recent FDA shit going on, I been researching DIY juice and this juice is my ADV. Looking for a recipe or someone that makes a decent clone. XD
Hi guys, I am trying to make 2 of my own watermelon/menthol and also a blueberry gummyish candy flavors.. I love Jet Fuels Watermelon Sundae if anyone has every had that..
does anyone have tips on which flavorings, etc to use and the percentage range for the flavorings?
if so, i only want to use diketone diacetyl acetoin etc FREE flavorings... please.
Thank you so much.
First off thanks for moving your post.
What kind of Watermelon would you describe it as? Candy-like, realistic, rindy? As for the Menthol, that's easy. It's just the Watermelon may be hard to nail without tasting the juice.
Let's say.. 75-80% ish CANDY and 20-25%ish realistic.. But even fully candy is fine just to make it easier to envision! Thank you.
Hi all, can somebody help me cloning too puft or sacred three of life ? i was asking in main and they told i need to post a naked pic :D please help
For the Too Puft I'd try:
TFA Double Chocolate Clear 4-5%
TFA Marshmallow (or maybe TFA Toasted Marshmallow) 2%
TFA Graham Cracker Clear 3-4%
TFA Sweetener 1% (optional if the juice is super sweet)
This is just a wild guess, though. That would probably get you somewhere close to it and something you can tweak to make it better.
Oculus from archive! Described as : Creamy oatmeal like apple pie crumble with a tart apple bite with a light cinnamon finish
Its my all time favorite apple pie flavor. If anyone has any apple pie recipes I should look into, throw em my way. Otherwise, I would really love a clone of this!
You should take a look at botboys Apple pie recipe. It's pretty consistently referred to as a top one here.
Ripe Vapes' VCT (Vanilla Custard Tobacco). Still chasing that dragon.
This is a tough one, has me stumped too. But this is where I am at; cap vanilla custard v2 - 6.75% ( I would raise this to 7%), Tfa black honey (tobacco) -2%, cap super sweet and Tfa smooth - both at 0.5%, 1% Fw toasted marshmallow, and I would suggest adding 1% Tfa French vanilla. I skipped the French vanilla on the first round, but after a week steep, found that the honey came through much more, so I needed to up the vanilla, perhaps even the vanilla custard to 8%? I also added 0.50ml of PG for a nice light throat hit.
Captain Ron by Indigo Vapor - Described as: "Go bananas with Captain Ron. Our coconut infused tobacco base melds seamlessly with this delicious banana flavoring." I am having a hell of a time figuring out what banana they use, not to mention the kick ass tobacco base. Anyone ever try this juice before? I would love to get anywhere in the ballpark, but all of my tobacco/banana mixes are nowhere close.
TFA RY4 double 4% CAP French Vanilla 5% INW Caramel 2.5% or TFA Caramel 5% TFA Peanut Butter 4% LA Banana Cream 2% or TFA Banana Cream 2% TFA Ethyl Maltol .5%
This is based off a recipe that was posted on elr. Gets better after 10 days but I tried it out shake and vape with INW Caramel at 2.5% instead of the TFA Caramel at 5%. Very pleasantly surprised by this one.
Churn'd Out by Majestic: http://www.majesticejuice.com/churnd-out-vaporz/
Desc: Cinnamon Apple Fried Ice Cream: Cinnamon apple fried ice cream balanced to perfection with subtle notes of cinnamon and finished with a milky ice cream
I seem to get custard notes rather than ice cream though.
I'd love to see a clone recipe for Last Light.
here's the description:
This all-day vape is a unique flavor that will sail you away from your daily routine: A balanced oak barrel-aged body with a blend of vanillas, nuts, and a hint of mixed fruit with a refreshing, creamy exhale. Vanilla, Almond, Mixed Fruits, Cream.
It's a premium flavor and runs $25 or so for 30ml, so I rarely get it, and a DIY clone recipe would be great. Probably my favorite juice of all the ones I've tried. thanks.
I'd like to see a real milk & honey clone. All the ones on elr are pretty far off.
I have tried 10 different versions with no luck. I'm seriously thinking about getting a job with them just to find out how they make it.
Giant Vapes is selling it for 50% off. Just got 3 bottles today
Pony on Acid by Smax. It's like vaping crack, but it's $22-25 a bottle. That's expensive. Just about to start DIY and this is the flavor I would love to try and replicate... My skillz won't permit me though. I'm lvl 0 and this juice is like the final boss in that popular video game.
Aussies may be the best help here. Anyone had luck cloning The terminator by Sydneyvapour? http://www.sydneyvapor.com.au/products/the-terminator?variant=8897866499
No matter the ratio of peach/rasp/lime/cotton candy I can't get the taste spot on. Best fruity ADV for me and I really would be happy just getting this down as closely as possible.
Hmm, just going off the flavor profiles I'd try something like 4% FA White Peach, 6% Cap Raspberry V2, 5% Tfa cotton candy and 1% cap lemon lime. I like my fruity flavors sweet, so I would add like 5 drops of cap super sweet. Not sure what you've been mixing with or what percentage, but that would be my take on it.
I didn't see this one mentioned yet... so I would be totally stoked if someone could produce a clone of Chocolate Milk - California Vaping Company.
This is so smooth and settling, it's worth the trouble to just wait if I can... had it in my ZampleBox - and now I'm not the same without it.
Trying again to see if anyone takes this: Now Not Later.
Description: "A strawberry watermelon saltwater taffy!"
Why do I want a clone? It's the best e-liquid I've ever had. I don't think it is that complicated but I can't figure out the percentages or the exact flavors. I can't get this in my country (Portugal) no store sells it, so I have to pay about 50€ (about 56$) for a 30ml bottle so I can get it from the UK.
If anyone wants to give a try at it, you'll forever have my gratitude.
Keep trying; I asked about the same two juices almost every month for a year. Finally, right now Verve is making one of them and last month someone else has given me a really good leg-up on perfecting my own clone of the other. Most other months, crickets.
I am trying to find a Neon Cream clone, Cosmic's Lost Fog Line. Any help would be appreciated.
I did my own take on it, called it Hi Viz. This was my 3rd version; 1% Tfa orange manderin (I like it since its softer than a straight orange tang) 1% cap lemon lime 6% cap Raspeberry V2 5% Tfa cotton candy 3% Tfa whipped cream +5 drops sweetener (per 30ml) +2 drops of Koolada (30ml) +10 drops of Fa lemon Sicily (30ml)
I was really trying to work towards a neon cream clone but this came out real nice.
I assume, it's actually not the right thread for this. But I did not want to open an extra one for this. Bear With Me.
I'm currently trying to find the percentages to mix a Suicide Bunny Mother's Milk clone with the three ingredients from this post:
>in case any home DIY mixers would like to make your own without the shitty V2 custard: > >Cappella's sweet strawberry Cappella's Vanilla Custard (V1) Cappella's Graham Cracker > >Just play around with these its not hard to nail i promise. Hey while youre at it why not make it 80%VG since the original is only a shitty 60% VG haha i digress.
As I don't have CAP Graham Cracker available, I've substituted with TFA Graham Cracker (Clear). Not sure how much difference this is going to make as I've never tried CAP Graham Cracker.
My first shot was:
Mother's Milk Clone V1
CAP Vanilla Custard V1 6%
CAP Sweet Strawberry 4%
TFA Graham Cracker (Clear) 3%
Just tried this today after a day steeping. For my palate, this is going into the right direction, but still not MM. The Vanilla Custard in MM is extremely smooth and the Custard/Strawberry layering is awesome (I guess that's why people love MM). There was already a hint of that layering – but IMO the vanilla overpowers. Maybe this is going to weaken after 2 or 3 weeks of steeping?
I've also tried to swap Strawberry @ 7% w/ Vanilla Custard @5% but that's way off of MM.
Tonight I tried some variation:
Mother's Milk Clone V1.2
CAP Vanilla Custard V1 7%
CAP Sweet Strawberry 5%
TFA Graham Cracker (Clear) 2%
Mother's Milk Clone V1.4
CAP Vanilla Custard V1 5%
CAP Sweet Strawberry 4%
TFA Graham Cracker (Clear) 2.5%
Vaped right after mixing – same result. Vanilla is just overpowering in V1.2 but too week in V1.4 but still I think the direction is right. I will now give it a two week steep and see how it turns out. But what I can say of now is that MM overall tastes much, much stronger than my mixes. My batches are pretty light compared to MM.
With that said, I was just wondering if anybody else ever played with the ingredients from the RANT to clone MM. Maybe somebody has already some experience with it or some good advice?
Mt Baker Vapor recently discontinued my favorite flavor, Faux Hawk. They are unable to recreate the mix themselves (sounds odd I know, but that's what I was told multiple times by several different reps), so I was hoping someone might have a good clone recipe, or might be able to provide a best guess to help me start to experiment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How about a flavor called Ninja Turtle? The only place I've found it is in OKC at a place called OKC vapes. Here's a link to their description of it: http://www.okcvapes.com/Ninja-Turtle-p1167.html
The best way I can describe it is like a juicy/gummy grape flavor. It is extremely tasty. If anyone's EVER tried it before and knows how to make a clone or something similar to it, please let me know!
I haven't tried it, but I have a friend who would completely lose her mind over a good gummy grape vape. I can't follow that link at work. Do you know if they'll ship, or does someone have to go to OKC to buy some? If they ship, I'll buy some, attempt to clone it, and share my recipe with you.
Cape Fear Juice Company - Lumina
I have been trying to make a clone for a few weeks and can't get it right. I feel like I am missing something but I can't tell if it just needs a longer steep or if I don't have the right flavors. The profile is Cucumber, Key Lime, and Marshmallow.
This is my favorite so far:
- TFA Cucumber 3%
- TFA Key Lime 6%
- FA Marshmallow 2%
I have also tried:
- FA Cucumber 2%
- FW Key Lime 5%
- FA Marshmallow 3%
I am pretty sure it's FA Marshmallow not TPA based on the scent. The FA Cucumber was too overpowering even at 1% I was going to try it at like .5% because it tastes really good but I am leaning towards the TPA Cucumber because Lumina's cucumber is more of a subtle note on the exhale. Inhale is in-your-face Key Lime smoothed out by the Marshmallow. I also picked up INW Lime and CAP Cucumber to try. It is an excellent summer vape if I could just get it right!
Oregon Vapor's White Zombie, description "Oregon Vapor White Zombie E Liquid – a very special blend of cookie dough and marshmallow." But if you've had this u would know there is something else going on in there that's so hard to pinpoint, and I've been doing this a while, thought I'd throw this out there and challenge the sharpest minds in DIY
Is there any concentrates that mimic dejavoodoo? Its my favorite all time liquid and id love to clone it lol, im new to DIY and im using a premix base, already got loads of flavors steeping, mainly fruity flavors but i reckon a week steeping will do it,
Anyway has anyone found a concentrate that mimics dejavoodoo?
"Sakura"- One Last Drop [Cherry Blossom]
I'm really trying to distinguish the flavors on this, soon as I tried it in store I instantly got it to try to clone, the cherry blossom is so nice and soft on the palate. I saw TPA has a cherry blossom flavor, I haven't made any floral vapes yet, does anyone have other hints at where I should be looking? It's a rather light floral very slightly natural cherry flavor, almost tastes like its mixed with a small % of a tea/lemon ice tea at the end of exhale, just a really pleasant neutral but flavorful vape
Description I looked up just now is super vague: a taste of japan /"cherry blossom"/ It's really not cherry
Any help would be mucho appreciated
I've never tried that eliquid... However, I have TFA Cherry Blossom and I think that's a good place to start. It is strong, so I would start low. 1-2%. Is the tea flavor you get a hot black tea/green tea or an iced tea? TFA Sweet Tea is good but it tastes more like an iced tea than a hot tea. I haven't found any other tea flavorings I like.
I think tfa cherry blossom/ sweet tea are great places to start thank you so much, it's like a mellow tea flavor seemingly sweet tea, might actually be a green tea/sweet tea mix. It's really a good vape and if I get it down I'll share it around here. I thought it was low on flavor %s, the flavors feel present, not overbearing but not flavorless so I think you kinda hit it right on the money :) [also I never knew how much I enjoy cherry blossom flavor vs cherry, difference is massive]
Any canadian vapers sucessfully able to replicate 12monkeys O-rangz?
12monkey are well known for copying recipes. Macazar is rhodonite by Wayne and kanzi is the strawberry kiwi posted by Botboy
> strawberry kiwi posted by Botboy
Do you know where he posted that? Just searched for a bit and couldn't find it. Hoping it's not buried in a monthly thread
I am so reluctant to post this, I have tried so hard to clone Famous by Vape Style but I am running thin on patience. It is described as: "strawberry, pineapple, and watermelon backed by a subtle kick of citrus". I have been vaping for almost 3 years, this is easily one of my top 3 juices I have ever tasted. I am super picky, with an extremely limited selection of vapes I can enjoy, but this one does it - the only juice I buy. Oh my, it does it for me.
What I get from it:
- Hot sugary sizzle(think shurb)
- lends to a gum type on the exhale
- Sweet pineapple and watermelon at the forefront
- little to no trace of citrus that my busted palate can discern
I have iterated through my 30th version as of today, with little success. Mostly my issue lies with producing the sugary sizzle. I have tried various bubblegums, LA salt water taffy and a host of pineapples/watermelons and strawberries and a hand full of citruses. Halp reddit!
I would start with TFA flavors.
Try
TFA Strawberry - 4% TFA Pineapple - 4% TFA Watermelon - 5%
These are all hot spots for the flavors to me, try lower or higher if you need to. I'm blindy give percentages based on description, and lastly try Citric Acid... I don't use it personally but that's probably what they used with the description of "kick of citrus" That would explain why you can't taste it but it may be there.
So one drop per 15ml.
Good luck on the journey. If TFA Watermelon isn't working, try Capella's. They have a great watermelon to me.
> Mostly my issue lies with producing the sugary sizzle.
Have you already tried 4-5% Cotton Candy/EM? That's where it comes from in the Shurb clones.
I have :( It is close, but no cigar. Some of that sizzle in the shurb clones I have tried also comes from FA Mandarin Orange in concert with the other flavors, which would explain the citrus, but it just doesn't taste right with any of the other listed fruits. I may try more/different cotton candies.
Thanks for your input!
Can someone try and figure out Cloud Company - Revel? This has been one of my favorite ADV's for a year but it's getting really expensive to keep buying it...
