Mouth Feel - Smooth and very dense. Heavy on the tongue, with no throat hit.
Flavor Properties- Rich butter with a hint of cream, and a great pecan aftertaste.
Relatable Flavors - As if you took movie theater butter and covered toasted pecans.
Off Flavors - Slightly chalky.
Position in the recipe - This is going to be a very versatile flavor should work well as a top note, and base, and at lower % an accent.
Pairings - Versatility is the key word here. Should work with most creams, bakeries , other nuts, chocolates, and most fruits. The only thing I would avoid is citrus fruit flavorings, such as pineapple, and lemon-lime.
Nice, I bought a dram of this but haven't found a recipe to use it in yet. It smells really good.
Elr bust a nut is a good place to start
This has actually been my ADV for a while now. Just a suggestion.
Thanks for this, I was going to try and get close to Homemade brand's butter pecan ice cream...then I got distracted with my nemesis of strawberry banana and forgot about it, until now at least. I just made this at 2% and am going to see where I go with it. I'll report back with any successful mixes
