Mouth Feel - smooth and heavy on the tongue, with no throat hit moderately dense I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
Flavor Properties- rich and sweet with a smooth buttery flavor. Creamy with a hint of vanilla and that fantastic Sweet Bitter cocoa butter flavor.
Off Flavors - a very slight chalky flavor and aftertaste.
Position in the recipe - should be versatile depending on what your pairing with. Doesn't have the punch to be a top note unless you're mixing it who did nothing but cream. Should make a great accent and work well in the base.
Pairings - other chocolates and creams should work well. The whole list of berries and should pair well with most bakeries, and caramel flavorings.
The cocoa butter note has me excited for my BCV order to get here tuesday. I took a chance and threw this one in the cart. Glad I did. Thanks for these flavor reviews dude. This is incredibly helpful for a lot of people.
Excellent!!!
I might have to give this a try in one of my recipes. I think the chalky mouth feel might even add to the effect I'm looking to get from it
Can't wait just tried your cookies and cream f****** amazing
Might have to give this a shot. I got the white chocolate from TFA and wasn't impressed. I kind of wanted to make a white chocolate smore or something similar.
From what I've heard the FW is the best white chocolate flavoring out there but I don't have any others so can't really speak to that
I'm developing a recipe that pairs this with FW Blueberry, a little CAP Sweet Cream, and TFA Marshmallow.
Pretty freaking tasty, so far.
If you don't mind, could you share it? I've been trying to make a raspberry white chocolate mint one with no results.
Sure thing. Now, this is only the second iteration, so not perfected yet.
FW Blueberry - 8%
FW White Chocolate - 5%
CAP Sweet Cream - 3%
TFA Marshmallow - 2%
TFA Cotton Candy - 1%
I am obsessed with the white chocolate flavorings and just started DIY because most vape stores dont have one. I bought TFA, FW, and FF white chocolate but also have MF coming. Im going to try them all at 1 week steep at 4% and see which one I like the best. Right now the FW definitely smells the best. Thanks for the review!
I have tried FW White Chocolate with Custard, VBIC and Chocolates at 4% and have not been impressed. I get a 'cardboard' flavor. I really like real white chocolate. If anybody knows a recipe that works...
I can't speak for FW White chocolate, but TFA white chocolate with just a little bavarian cream brings up the white chocolate notes quite well. My only real success with white chocolate was with bavarian cream.
Alrighty then, I'll try
- 3% FW White Chocolate
- 3% TFA Bavarian Cream
and see what happens.
I'd love to hear how that goes, I always enjoy a good white chocolate and have been hesitant to pull the trigger on FW version of it.
I just dug up my recipe that used TFA white chocolate if you'd like to give it a whirl.
White Strawberry
TFA Strawberry - 7%
FA Fresh Cream - 4%
TFA White Chocolate - 3%
TFA Bavarian Cream - 2%
TFA Vanilla Swirl - 1.5%
In recipes prior to adding the bavarian cream the white chocolate was muted even at 5%.
Bought this for the white gremlin recipe. I was very disappointed with this flavor it has a very off aftertaste.
The best white chocolate I've ever bought was from IDE flavors. His shipping isn't the greatest but that white chocolate is the best I've ever had. It reminds me of those glass Starbucks bottles...the coffee drink...the smores flavor. This is spot on to the Starbucks bottle smores! Delicious!
