Vape Clarity & California's new laws classifying vapor products as cigarettes.

So does liquid nic meet the same standards as ejuice in the Golden State (sure hoping not)? If so, then after Jan. 1 2017 we'll have to verify age upon purchase, verify order by phone and then also have to verify by id at pickup or door delivery, as well as lose the options of PayPal and USPS for shipping? Am I reading this right?

Nicotine base will be classified as a vaping product and will require the recipient to be 21 years of age or greater to sign for the product upon delivery (FedEx/USPS) starting JUNE 9th, 2016. EDIT: For CA residents

I wonder what the rule will be if you live in CA, but are an out of state resident due to being active duty military...

So, for residents not in ca, will we need to sign for it? I'm over 21, but rarely ever home when the mail comes and rarely off work by the time the post office closes, so that would be a pain in the ass. Lol

After you make the purchase you can schedule a pick-up at Fed Ex or UPS. If your not off work by the time they close you could schedule pick-up for the day after the package arrives at FED EX/UPS

Damn. That's awful. I don't even have kids in my house.

This new law only applies for California. Texas has a similar law for vaping products - need to be 21+ to buy vaping products - been in effect for almost a year now.

That's not what I got from the BlueDot thread. His lawyer seems to think it applies to everyone they sell to regardless of state.

This was my concern too. I work nights so I'm just waking up right now and getting ready to go to work. I've been doing it so long it's hard to even get up early for appointments on my (few) days off.

See if you can get it delivered to work. Texas has similar laws, so I just got my bottle of nic delivered there. I made sure to ask the receptionist and my boss first.

What does this mean for a CA resident ordering out of state products?
