Monday Candy
submitted over 9 years ago by TechnicolorRainbows

I had an idea one night I would create a Nutella flavored juice but this is coming from me, a guy who has never been interested in the chocolate-hazelnut spread ever in his life. So I really didn't expect to hit it on the head and in actuality, I didn't. Instead, I nailed something else on the head. A chocolate milk flavor, but instead of the quick mixes of chocolate milk, it taste like the ones you got in elementary school in the caf at breakfast or lunch time.

I created the name from listening to The Social Experiment and Chance the Rapper's song "Sunday Candy", which talks about church as a child. This is more about the mornings at school as a child so I changed it. I tend to do this with my mixes a lot, a recent Cinnamon Roll that's on it's fifteen attempt is named Ab-Soul because I'm hooked on his music.

The Flavors

  • Double Chocolate (Clear) I used this because out of all my chocolates, it's the best one to me. I am not a chocolate consumer by any means, I'll eat some or drink some chocolate milk now-a-days once or twice a month. I never thought I would enjoy vaping one as much as this though. My other choice was Double Chocolate by Capella and it didn't fit correctly here. It gives a creamy chocolate taste that I was going for after a short (3 day) steep.

  • Fresh Cream/Vienna Cream Originally, I wanted to create the creamy spread but instead of that, it created the milky texture that I remember vividly from secondary school. The create a "milk" base for this recipe that I was presently surprised with.

  • Hazelnut/Shisha Vanilla These two I thought would allow the cream to flourish and the Hazelnut would be the Hazelnut in the Nutella but they played an interesting roll. Hazelnut adds a milk note, I did not think of this while adding it originally and afterwards I noticed my mistake on why this came out more milky than spread-like. The interesting piece is the Shisha Vanilla, I just recently got this and included it because I was interested on what it would do as it's worked nicely with my fruit and cream mixtures before but I think it added that vanilla milk undertone of the chocolate very well.

  • Optional Acetyl Pyrazine 5% and Meringue I decided to play with Acetyl Pyrazine to round out the chocolate and it did quite nicely, I highly recommend using this one and I have read that Meringue creates a powdered taste for a milk mixture nicely at .5% so I recommend trying that, I cannot say if it does anything phenomenal because I have it steeping and so far I can't tell but if anyone wants to, you can try.

Remember kids, don't mix while tired and if you do... Bob Ross it and remember there are no mistakes, only happy accidents.

I got my sub doing front flips. When every father, mod, mixer jump ship. (attempted chance reference)

but I will be trying this out. I'm still looking for my white whale of a great chocolate vape

/u/vurve's cookie and cream is pretty good. The chocolate is kind of mocha-y after a few days, but I like that

This actually looks a bit like Wayne's Golden Ticket chocolate milk recipe. It's pretty good but lacking a little something. I'll give this a try! Just got Shisha Vanilla too!
