I love the Nectar Mango and I wanted to make some for myself. Could I just use FPA Mango and thats it?
I have recipes for some Mango/Papaya/Cantelope but I'm looking for a straight mango flavor like Nectar Mango
Any input helps.
TFA Philippine Mango is the one you want if you want only one flavor that tastes like mango nectar. Other flavors will give you a more realistic mango, a more full-bodied mango, a more earthy/sweet/creamy/perfumy/sharp/bright/floral/rindy/underripe/overripe/whatever-you-might-want in a mango, but Philippine is the one that's "nectary."
It doesn't neccesary have to be a one-flavor recipe, I just want the closest thing to Nectar's Mango, they got the mango flavor I love!
Oh... I'm sorry, I completely misunderstood, I thought you wanted a juice that tastes like actual mango nectar. I didn't realize this was a clone request. I've not tried that juice. Try the monthly clone request thread.
What percentage do you use TFA Philippine Mango at? I bought a bottle a year ago and all i remember is it being a bottle of throat hit with a slight mango aftertaste.
You're not alone, someone else recently compared it to mango-scented hairspray. It might be that flavor just doesn't agree with you. I thought it tasted like watered down mango nectar at 5% and it does have an unpleasant weirdness to me at 10%. IMO it's not really a very good flavor on it's own. Lately I've been using it at 2% in combination with other mango flavors because it does provide a sweet juiciness they lack

I'd say I'm intermediate. Shops are already carrying my brand. I saw that list but alot of them are mango ice cream, etc...
Mango's blood looks the closest to a pure mango. You think thats my best bet?
I think your best bet is to buy all the mango flavors and try to figure out which one that company is using and then try to determine what other flavors they might be putting in there
Mango is one of my particular favourites. The flavour of the mango isn't the biggest issue, in my humble opinion. A personal mix of Phillipine Mango (TPA)/Mango (TPA)/Orange and Mango (CAP) provide a great flavour base, with the CAP O&M giving it a bit of tart sweetness. The tough part is trying to replicate the juiciness in the vape. A heavy, juicy mouthfeel. FA Meringue/Marshmallow go some way towards that, but I need to continue researching that one.
