Hi guys, so I recently started getting into mixing and was just browsing through TFA's website and stumbled into the SDS that they provide for their flavors. I went through some of their flavors I use and saw that RY4 Double has a Respiratory Sensitization Hazardous image that discourages inhaling the product. Should I be worried and switch it out? Not really a science guy so I don't really know too much about how these chemicals change when they are vaporized.
Lots of concentrates will carry warnings about inhalation dangers because the individual volatiles may have requirements to post it.
Once you dilute it, it's less risky, but there are always unknown risks with inhalation chemical compounds.
Vanillin has some associated acute inhalation concerns (it's an aldehyde). Cyclotene does as well (respiratory irritation and CNS depression). Ethyl maltol also has some limited concerns for inhalation.
But those are at much higher potency values than one typically vapes at.
I included the link to the Safety Data Sheet in the post but here it is again.
