I've been trying to make a clone of one of my favorite juices and it's basically the best sherbet you've ever tried, liquid gold in my opinion. I have the flavor down, it's so close I'm satisfied with it. However it's missing this, wetness on the exhale. I can't explain it in other words. No other juice I've tried has even come close to this wetness on the exhale and I would love some direction in recreating this. Thanks!
If it lays more on the fruit side of the spectrum, a very small (.25%) amount of INW Cactus will get you a moist feel on the exhale without effecting the flavor. Use too much and you risk a soapy aftertaste.
If its more on the dessert side of things, LA marshmallow under 1% should give you that pastry glaze (like a glazey doughnut) feel on the exhale.
I recommend 1.5% TFA Whipped Cream, and maybe 0.25% INW Cactus.
The whipped cream, to me, gives this really thick wet mouthful. Cactus is known for its "Juicy" taste or feeling.
I can't say for sure this would work, but I would try a very small amount of TFA Koolada, perhaps 0.25-0.5% (just guessing, adjust to suit). Since you are working with a sherbet, it may just give you what you are looking for.
I know exactly what you are talking about but have not found anything on how to do it. The flavor in the middle also does exactly what your talking about
I'll 4th the INWA-Cactus. Yes, it can ruin a recipe, but you've used too much if it did. When it is overpowering, I don't get a "soapy" flavor per say, can kind of relate to that description, but a more slightly sour-aloe vera-juice type of flavor. It's not a bad flavor, but definately takes over. As some examples I use it in my relatively soft and creamy Bilberry,Honeydew,Strawberry,Pear Punch @ .25% and in my tart Strawberry Lemonade @ .5%. Essentially the more bold and sharp the flavors you're playing with the more you can use before it hijacks your profile. Good luck!
Without reading the comments I know there is at least one recommendation for INW Cactus. It is definitely what you need to take it from a nice Sherbert to a flowery mess.
Have you tried saline? I never had much luck with it but, in it's defense, I didn't try very hard. I think I read that it gunks though. Maybe a gummy flavor in small percentage?
So no love for the cactus?
What's the juice you're trying to clone called?
Neon Cream by Lost Fog.
So far I'm working with a couple revisions but this one seems closest
5.5% Cap lemon lime 4% FW Boom 4% TFA EM 3.5% FW Tropical Cream Breeze 2% TFA Sweet raspberry .5% TFA Sour
I'm thinking bringing the lemon lime down and upping the tropical cream breeze may help
Nice! I'd look into FA Meringue or FA Marshmallow for moistness. TFA Marshmallow also helps but it's got DAP.
I started a post on e-liquid mouthfeel/moistness but still have to add all my other crap to it.
