Back in March 2016 I ordered two bottles of Nude Armor V2 (My preferred nicotine.) @ 50mg in 100% VG.
I ordered in plenty of time to not run out given the sometimes excessive shipping times with this vendor. Within a week to 10-days my shipment arrived and was labeled exactly as I had ordered.
Upon unpacking, I immediately placed it into the freezer for storage as I always do... since I had an unfinished bottle already at my mixing station.
Last Sunday on 5/15/16 I removed the first bottle from the freezer and let it come to room temperature before heading to my mixing station to complete several recipes. That's when I discovered a problem. My nic titrated at the proper 50mg level, but had been mixed in 100% PG instead of VG as I had ordered. (The bottles were labeled incorrectly.)
I felt like an idiot for not testing it upon arrival, but I'd never had a problem with this product before.
Upon discovering the problem on Sunday evening, I e-mailed Jake and Chris at Nude Nicotine with my order number from two months ago and a description of the problem.
They replied on Monday apologizing for the problem and asked if both bottles of my order were incorrectly mixed. I verified that both bottles were indeed mixed with 100% PG and they told me it would be taken care of right away...
Flash forward to today (Exactly one week later) when I received the corrected order in my mailbox. Two bottles of Nude Armor V2 in 50mg and 100% VG... but at double the size of my original order.
I know this vendor has received some self-inflicted black eyes recently, but in this case they immediately took responsibility with no questions asked and quickly corrected the problem. The extra quantity is greatly appreciated, but was not necessary.
The way they handled this issue has kept me as a customer with them.
Sorry to the guy who ordered two larger bottles of 50mg 100% VG that was supposed to be delivered today.
But, it's still in formulation.
I'm not entirely certain, of course, but I think a lot of nicotine vendors are straining a bit as of late, since the deeming FDA regs were released. I think a lot of DIYers got spooked about not being able to purchase nic and ordered a bunch all at once.
Anyways, Nude has been good to me, I haven't needed to buy too much nic in general (I vape at 0.5mg and purchase 100mg) but they've been, what I'd call, "normal" vendors. I order, they prepare, they ship, I receive.
Not only did diyers get spooked, but people like me also stocked up and started diying. I'm vaping my first mix right now and I bought a fuckton of supplies.
Yeah, for sure, I hadn't thought about the new diy'ers also getting into it because of the FDA... maybe we should be a bit more patient with vendors, especially if we made orders after the big announcement.
I'm one of those. If you read thru my sparse post history... You'll see that I started posting & gushing about my newfound love of vaping starting April 13th, went through the "vaping progression" hard, deep & fast. Now DIYing & ordered my NudeNicotine on May 13th. Mine is still "formulating" :-( 12 days!!! I wanted to see what the hype is, they come highly rated,.. But wow the wait time is serious, coming from in US... Is it only gonna get worse as the deadline approaches? 90 days from the "deeming"? Any other providers able to keep up?
Well that's good to hear but makes me much more depressed that I'm on week 3 of waiting for my package.
Based solely on my personal experiences with this vendor, posts like yours make me scratch my head…
I've had packages from them take a couple of weeks to get to me, but never longer than that.
Yeah this was my first experience with them. Received one email about my batch being formulated on 5/14. Haven't received a response back. Will definitely be my last purchase from them.
am I missing something or am I just one of the few that get nicotine in a pg base? nearly everyone I speak to about it gets vg base nicotine, but I always go pg base because I vape 70%vg 30%pg and at 100mg I only need about 2.4mL to make a 60mL bottle, the remainder is made up of flavouring and unflavoured pg, and 42mL vg.
I would suppose a lot of people purchase nic in 100% PG… especially folks purchasing 100mg nic levels… The nicotine disperses in the solution better, it's easier to shake, and is less prone to nicotine hotspots.
I purchase in 100% VG for two reasons…

For extra safety in my household due to children being present, I purchase my nicotine in not greater than 50mg per ml level.

I mix my juice at max VG and generally do not add any PG other than what is contained in my flavorings. Results in juice at 80% VG or higher.
If I were comfortable with 100mg nic, I would probably purchase in 100% PG as well for ease of use.
ah, this makes sense then. I tried max vg but I found my coils getting clogged really quickly, and I do like a good rda but I'm mainly using a tank so max vg is definitely a no go for me. plus, since I live in Australia where sale and supply of nicotine is illegal, I've always had to mix it. I find if I buy a liquid that's classed as "ready to vape" the 100mg pg solution is ideal because adding 2mL to a 60mL bottle of flavouring isn't going to throw the ratio off by much.
