I whipped this up a few days ago, it's pretty dam tasty now. I've been on a key lime yogurt binge and so felt like doing something vape related with the profile.
Started off as a key lime cupcake, but cupcake batter's maple notes were a bit too distracting. Whatever, I'll adapt it to something that it more aptly supports. Key Lime Pancakes? Holy shit... this is a thing? Word, let's do it up.
The lime actually works super well. It turns a flavor that would normally be a bit too heavy for me on the palette that would tire quickly into something just a hint lighter and very summery.

Key Lime Pie Pancakes
- TFA Key Lime 4.5%
- CAP Vanilla Custard 1.5%
- CAP NY Cheesecake 1%
- FA Yogurt 1%
- FLV Cupcake Batter 2%
- INW Biscuit 0.75%
- FA Meringue 0.50%
- FLV Coconut 1 drop/30ml
- INW Waffle 5% 0.25%
Little sweetener to taste, optional as always but my freaking sweet tooth demands that 0.25-0.50% TFA Sweetener touch sometimes.
I opted to leave out the almond milk and graham cracker. If you are so inclined you could hit it with a little fa almond and maybe tfa graham cracker clear/cap graham cracker to be 100% faithful but I took some liberties considering I just wanted to be a bit more minimalist this time.

TFA Key Lime
Such a good flavor, really accurate to the taste I get in most key lime flavored yogurt. Love at first sight. This is the star of the recipe that keeps it interesting, refreshing, and delicious.
FLV Coconut + INW Waffle
Coconut Oil. While waffle isn't core to this recipe, it just adds so much realism that makes it screams pancakes I tossed it in. I've had success with it before knew it made sense here. Don't kick yourself too hard if you don't have this, it's definitely novelty, but if you are big FA Joy user I can't recommend this enough in your arsenal and will keep on preaching. Waffle 5% at 0.25% is a pretty nice starting point, if you want more heavy pancake notes you can play with boosting this up a bit. I may be upping waffle just a hint in my next bottle, though it seems at the sweet spot right now. You may be able to sub joy at 0.25-0.50% for waffle if you're missing it.
FLV Cupcake Batter
Check out the recent reviews on this sub, they are pretty accurate. There are some cake notes tucked deep in this but mainly just really sweet, creamy, fatty, and has maple notes that are more pronounced based on the percentage. The whole kit and caboodle here with a little maple syrup drizzle on your pancake.
FA Yogurt + CAP NY Cheesecake
While its not really the most authentic greek yogurt base at all, I'm not really crazy about greek yogurt. NY Cheesecake just balances yogurt out a bit. It just works... I've used these together before many times and it always comes out pretty well. You won't taste any "cheese" note at all in this recipe so don't worry about it. It makes the yogurt taste more "fresh", as well as creamier, if that makes sense. Either way the yogurt note is pretty minimal but the effect is apparent on just helping to make a super rich body that contrasts so well with key lime.
FA Meringue
Powdered sugar, recipe calls for it and it makes sense so why not.
CAP Vanilla Custard
Rounds everything out, butter, body, richness. You know the deal.
Biscuit
mmm. Really nice base note that holds strong. I'm sure most of you are familiar enough with this one. Need something to fill in for the minimal "cookie/cake" notes in cake batter, preference over fa cookie or cap sugar cookie.
I think that's everything.
Sometimes you just got to embrace a flavor in all its nuance, otherwise you get those off notes that are hard to ignore.
I'm going to collapse into a pancake coma now. This is a real treat!

Have you had Witty's Pilar ever? That's the KLP I'm going for, but this sounds incredible.
I'm not feeling the FA Yogurt (in my head) in this recipe so I'm excited to try it out tonight. And, I have all the ingredients but that's only because you left your mixing room curtains open and I found my binoculars.
Any steep time?

I don't think this has a crazy steep time, I'm on day 3 and its already pretty darn delicious for my taste buds. A custard purist would probably slap me and say wait 1-2 weeks but I lack self control. I threw it on a hotplate for a couple minutes and was already pretty impressed with the big picture fresh mixed after letting it sit for a few hours.

See the one that's like 2/3 full? Yeah, I never used it. I wasn't sure at first but now I can confirm the concentrate seeps out the bottle somehow. I'm just scared to use it at this point lol.
If you plan on buying this I suggest you dilute it as soon as you receive it.
I basically did the day I got it, lol. I think a 5% dilution seems to the best. I then use that in a range of 0.10-0.50%. It's a shame because it scares people away seeing it is that strong and needs extra work to use but, literally takes 2 minutes to just weigh out the pg and add the flavor. even at difference of 0.10% is pretty noticeable at 5% dilution.
This sounds really good, although I'm missing the Yogurt and Cupcake Batter which are both on my list. I've been on a Key Lime kick for the past month or so and have been trying TFA Key Lime + FA Lime Tahiti (cold pressed) 2:1 or 3:1 with just about everything I have.
Any winners mixed with other fruits? My stash is thin, but loaded with random fruits and I have key lime and lime Tahiti cold pressed.
FA Pear and TFA Pear seems to be my fave so far. I have a recipe here. The Meringue + Cream Fresh is great. Torrone could probably be left out if you don't have it, but I have used it every time I make it so I can't really say what you'd be missing.
Edit: I'm actually vaping the same recipe with 0.5% INW Raspberry Concentrate and 2% TFA Dragonfruit instead of the pears and its pretty good as well.

In my second batch, I subbed FLV Greek yogurt and FLV sweet coconut.
I like the FLV Greek yogurt a lot better. It's a bit more creamy with an ever so slight tang that really compliments the key lime.
As for FLV sweet coconut, I feel like its going to be too pronounced for this recipe. Very candied with a slight floral note. I'll stick with FLV coconut moving forward.
Yeah FLV Coconut was very specifically chosen over sweet coconut for that reason. Sweet Coconut pops out a bit too much, were just using FLV coconut for to mimic using coconut oil. Really brings out the fatty notes in our pancake.
I was thinking about trying out FLV Greek Yogurt actually as my second choice for yogurt. What percentage did you use it at?

- 3% TFA Key Lime
- 2% TFA Bavarian Cream
- 5% TFA Belgian Waffle
- Sweetener if you need
Rich fluffly, limey, and a bit of maple. My roommate made this but didnt record the recipe so i reconstructed it.
This is a pretty cool idea, I'll have to give this a whirl.
I don't have INW Waffle, FLV Coconut or FLV Yogurt so I can't make it 1:1 but, hopefully, TFA Waffle TFA Greek Yogurt and TFA Coconut Extra will get the job done.
