Lol I weighed a few of them. Could not find a single one that was exactly 5 grams like everyone says they are. They were on average + or - .040 g. Sooo I just took one that was above and one that was below. Worked out pretty well as you can see...

It's not an unnecessary hyphen.

"Kick in the pants" does not need a hyphen.

"Kick-in" is a singular idea needing two words -- it needs a hyphen.

It's at work. It's a moisture analysis machine. Weighs a sample, heats it to 150°C to evaporate moisture, then weighs the outcome. I want it when we get a new machine.
