As per my post in ECR_eu Pirate Vapes are continuing to trade in the UK - Thankfully that means- until November at least - we can still get decent Nicotine. Thought this may be of some use

Wait, what's going on in the UK? Sorry, thought your health industry was more in support of vaping compared to here in the US. Some legislation?

Its not the uk. Its erope. The tpd ( tobacco procucts directive) is a new European law drafted in brussles that affects every eu state whether you like it or not. In short,
Tanks limited to 2ml. No advertising or conventions. No nic higher than 20mg. Only 10ml bottles.

Amongst a ton of other bullshit.
I apologise for formatting and spelling im on my phone.

As of tommorow. It becomes law, a few countries have begun implementation early, i cant speak for other but the uk has a grace period of a year for vendors to sell old stock. As of 20th may 2017 it will be in full effect. Theres currently a motion in the house of lords today to try and block it.

Uhhhhhhh hold up, I'm going to Ireland, the Netherlands, and Spain this week. Do I now have to pack a fuckload of 10mLs?

I seriously doubt if you're stopped in an Irish airport they'll give a shit about your DIY juices. It's more of a law against what merchants can sell. If a user buys 10ml bottles and transfer them into a bigger one I really don't think that makes someone a criminal.

> The tpd ( tobacco procucts directive) is a new European law

Even though this is extremely pedantic: It's neither a law, nor is it new.

It's a EU directive. What the member states create in accordance with this directive are laws. And it already came into effect in 2014, but each member states had until today to implement it into domestic laws. And some (I know of Sweden) already got an extension, because they didn't get their version ready on schedule.

And that's basically one of the biggest reasons, why this whole thing is complete bullshit (aside from the regulations themselves of course), because now we will have 28 "islands" each with somewhat different laws for tobacco and consequently sadly e-cigarettes. And not to forget, that the trade regarding e-cigarettes between the member states is basically suspended now, until each member state establishes a notification office, where vendors in other member states can register...

Darkstar too, and they added a freezer pack option now, you can get 4 x 250ml or 4 x 500ml etc in amber glass. I am going to gradually stock up for the next year and carry on smiling

What, really? There's a pretty big price gap...

Really - I've just received 250ml of Nicotine from PiratesVape and it was £17.99 - just checked Dark Star and its also £17.99. Where are you seeing price differences?

Are you sure? A quick whois search on darkstar's domain shows that it's registered by Blue Label Vapour LTD. Both Blue Label and Pirates Vape are registered on Companies House and it doesn't look like they're runned by the same people

Nope - not sure at all!!

Sorry - Just went and looked back through my stuff and it turns out I did order from DarkStar (I was going to order from Piratesvape but they were out of VG Nicotine).

Please ignore me - I'm an idiot!

Phew glad that confusion got cleared out.. Piratesvape and Darkstar definitely shouldn't be the same company.

Piratesvape claim their a small mom&pop shop in the UK.

Wondering weather to stockpile, but what use is that considering I read flavouring are only good for 2 years? 2 years supply definitely doesn't count for stockpiling in my book.. At least 5-6 years of supply is a stockpile for me.

Flavourings are multipurpose so won't come under this act. I can't see how this act is helping anyone, selling the flavours "food only" means we get less research into the long term effects of them!

Have you done any research for Europe on this? The reason I'm asking is, because I haven't had the chance to catch up myself yet, but for the USA the FDA is actually going to regulate even the food flavours by "reasonable belief for intented use" or whatever the right legal term was.

Basically they're saying, "cut the bulshit, we know you're using this for vaping". Which is fair enough. What's not fair is the whole absurdity of the situation.. I can't believe this is even under discussion. Anyways let's see how it plays out.

Last time I checked I am 99 percent sure it was only the nic that came under these new laws in the UK. Hence why the laws on 0nic juice haven't changed.
