I'm fairly new to DIY, i started in about October 2015 but the past month I have been on the grind. All of my recipes from scratch have been harsh, nasty, dry, and just about everything you don't want from a mix. Not quite unvape-able, but definitely not good. I found the DIYORDIE channel on Youtube and I truly believe he is the reason why my mixes have been dramatically improving. After daily watching and note taking I finally started to get an idea of what to do, my target was a berry punch, it still has some work to do but as of now it comes off as a great shake n vape.
Recipe:
TFA Blueberry extra 6%
CAP Harvest Berry 3%
TFA Raspberry Sweet 4%
INW Cactus 3%
Ethyl Maltol 0.5%
80/20 VG/PG at 2mg of nicotine
Blueberry Extra:
I believe this is the blueberry best fit for the recipe. It doesn't have too much tartness, but still holds a realistic blueberry flavor. It's fairly light (being from TFA) so I put it at the higher percentage of 6% to keep it present, but not overwhelming.
CAP Harvest Berry:
This is my first time working this flavor in a mix. Single flavor is a good berry blend with a large amount of sweetness. I hate using sweetener in my mixes, so i use this instead. All the berry notes in the compliment the additional ones I have added.
TFA Raspberry sweet:
I just opened this out of the mail and threw in in my mix. The smell is incredible. Super sweet, tart, fruity candy raspberry. I assumed it would be lighter given it being from TFA but the smell was very strong, so i used a lower 4% in the mix.
INW Cactus:
This is the key to my recipe. I may have used to much, and I will find out in the upcoming week or so. The juiciness, sweetness and uniqueness of this flavor is fantastic. It smells Like its meant for watermelon type of juicy fruits. My first vape was a little over powering flavor from it though, i was looking for much juicy texture/taste, not the aloe vera-esque notes. Maybe next blend I'll take it down to 2%
Ethyl Maltol:
I used a small amount only to smooth out and give an overall bigger sense of sweetness to the mix. I didn't want too much since I suspect most of the fruits already contain ethyl maltol.
Any and all criticism/advice would be great as my main goal is to improve. Without the great community here, I would never have been able to make a tasty flavor in such a short amount of time while saving so much money. now what should i order next...

I have some cactus coming in tomorrow. Gonna try it with monster melon clones and a few other melon/tropical mixes I make. Your recipe looks delicious, I need to grab some of that Harvest Berry.
I highly recommend using the cactus with these types of flavors. You maybe be able to substitute the harvest berry with tfa strawberry ripe 2% and strawberry 3% for this recipe. I wouldn't add any dark berries in place of harvest berry because it will add on to the tartness of the raspberry and blueberry and kill the sweetness.
Oh yeah, Ive heard cactus isnt too bad as a single flavor at around 5% either. Might just have to mix up a bottle to vape on and see. And ok, I am missing a few of the other flavors but they are all concentrates Ive been meaning to pick up anyways. Screenshot for later. :)

Once I get my order with cactus, I'll give this a shot.
If still you're looking for what to order next, pear, watermelon, and apple all go well with cactus.
Hmmm FA Pear with cactus? I'll have to try it out.
Yes, Prickly Pear. I like to use TFA and FA Pear together in 2:1 to 4:1 ratios. Also can't hurt to add some CAP Sweet Strawberry and/or a very small amount of FA Marshmallow, FA Lime Cold-Pressed, TFA Gummy Candy, FA Watermelon, FA Kiwi, FA Fuji Apple
Prickly Pear - I like it!
I'll mess around with those two and see what I can do.
I absolutely love FA Marshmallow. It gives such a thick mouthfeel and sweetness even at 0.5%. Some kind of strawberry always finds its way into my fruity recipes (lately it's been INW Shisha Strawberry). Also, with most of my latest fruity recipes, I've been adding in 0.5% TFA Key Lime and I love the brightness it brings.
FA Kiwi has been on my order list for a while now, just haven't pulled the trigger.
Thanks for the suggestions.
