[Question] Do YOU also have a bottle of "S.U.I.C.I.D.E." juice?!
submitted over 9 years ago by floodface

I'm not talking about drinking your concentrated nicotine, ya dangus! I mean an amalgam bottle of failed mixtures. Usually after running a new mix through a tank or two(RTA) I dump it into an empty 250ml bottle if it isn't quite "there" yet, which isn't any more than 10ml. Sometimes all that mixed weirdness makes for a good time! Other times, it's the exact opposite, but if I end up dumping it, I'm at no more of a loss. And if it's good, I always have a bottle of "suicide juice." Most of my recipes are relatively the same VG/PG ratio and nicotine concentration, so it ends up being an interesting mix of all the flavors I have. Always interesting, indeed. So, I can't be the only one who makes a bottle of...Summated Unfinished Inferior Concoctions Intentionally Detained Experimentally...right?

You aren't alone, I've heard of people doing this before. Some increase their chance of "a good time" by separating their suicide bottles into a couple of categories, like fruity in one, bakery in another, etc. Me? I force myself to vape my crappy concoctions down to last drop. It's part self-flagellation - punishment for shitty mixing, reminder to do a little more research next time - and part cheapskaterry. But mostly, it's because that last mL could be the one inspires the adjustments needed to lift that idea out of the toilet.

I wish I could put myself through that. I heard it breeds champions though.

I hate vape my shitty mixes until they aren't shitty anymore. I credit both steeping and the fact that I just acquire a taste for it.

More likely you just can't taste how bad it is anymore.

This is what I do. And I don't fuck around mixing small batches either. I always mix 30ml and I vape every bit of it whether it sucks or not. Today I made a mix based on nana cream, but with tfa pineapple and blackcurrant instead of dragonfruit. It's bad, really bad. In fact, I haven't made anything with pineapple that is actually good yet. I think the flavor is just bad.

Use less pineapple. 1% is a heck of a lot in my experience. Find the sweet spot, too much puts you in the sewer spot.

I also vapor the entire bottle no matter how bad it sucks.

Throw 1-2% of your favorite cream in there and wait a week or 2.

I like your style! That is inspiration enough for me to make it even more of experiment. I have major respect for your dedication, cheap-skatery, and self-flagellation, I don't quite have that palate will power yet. Kudos. I agree on inspiration, every drop is a window to a new recipe!

Thats me. I have profiles I keep together. All perfectly vapable. Being the slacker that I am I vape on them when I dont have anything steeped.

No. If i wanted to vape anything sub-par, I would just buy from 95% of the vendors out there.

Hah, SAVAGE. Respect. Tell me about your NETs. Mine are solid and I love extracting...

yo I was drunk af last night, and had just found out some fukt up shit.

I love NETs as well, but extracting my own is too time and resource consuming. Im quite partial to INW garuda and virginia for 3$ from BCV.

When I did extract NETs, milder tobaccos seemed to give me a more leafy flavor than a robust blend.

I think my favorite cigars are still eastern standards, im probably one of the few on here that still smokes occasionally

Amen, brother! Once I started mixing, I realized how crappie most commercial juice is!

i just ordered some pg and vg gonna order some nic from nude nicotine. Do you really beleive that your able to make equal or better juices then the vendors out there? I am just wondering if its in the realm of possibility. I Just want to creat or recreate my all day vape. Its a fruity mix.

I mix 1/3 dragonfruit from my b&m with 2/3 seduction from vaporinbottle to make 30ml. I love that mix, id love to make it on my own.

Mostly everyone here believes their mixes are better than a vendor.

Mostly everyone here would be correct in thinking that.

Yes it is totally possible. Unfortunately if you are just buying whatever flavors you want (like me), there is a learning curve affected by time/money/research.

It is recommended to buy flavors for specific recipes, to be good out the gate. If you dont wanna do that however, here is my advice...

  • read flavor reviews, so you dont buy shit.

  • have an idea of what you want to use that flavor for and dont buy niche flavors you'll only use one time. * example: buy FA meringue over FA black pepper. (meringue is more versatile)

  • get a lot of bottles to test out flavors. bullcityvapor.com has free shipping on orders over 75$ or 85$ so get some flavors and like 20-30 bottles, because you will need them. (plus whatever else you may need)

  • buy PG/VG in bulk from EssentialDepot.com when you can to save more money. (google glycube)

  • then get to work testing single flavor mixes, and start combining flavors one at a time until you get it good.

It took me a cpl months to figure out something decent, and stop buying store bought shit. I didnt have enough bottles, therefore cldnt make enough mixes. I also didnt have enough VG/PG and spent mad amounts on my first flavor orders in shipping from small amounts driving up the weight, while not utilizing free shipping amounts or deals like the glycube.

Holy shit is most VG out there palm derived?

Are we all killing off the orangutans and Indonesians?

Getting the exact flavor is going to next to impossible since you can't know the exact percentages. Getting something to taste similar or damn close can be done.

You will end up trying to clone that juice and then making it your own by changing it. You will change it to be exactly how you like it, so yes the juice will be better than theirs.

yeah as it is i cant find one I like. I mix two or 3 together so im inclined to order a bunch of flavors. just trying to figure out which ones to get and how much. I only bought 500ml of pg, 500ml vg, and 120ml 100mg/ml nic. no other supplies ourdered yet. I know I need some syringes, and i have a lot of bottles i got off ebay, gloves, figure just syringes pipettes and flavorings

That's no kidding. I had a guy from work come over to mix the other day and he brought ~30 bottles of commercial juice he hasn't vaped, offering trade. I accepted 2 of them and the rest were either a shitty chemical taste or just straight butt juice.

I am...afraid of doing this. Not afraid it'll be bad, bad is fine, whatever. No, I'm afraid it'll be good (great?) and I'll have no idea how to make it again.

by floodfaceover 9 years ago

No, no, you're okay. It might be great, but if it IS great, you have to acknowledge you can't repeat it, and just enjoy it!

Yes I hate vape too. Have a "Brown" bottle - mostly tobaccos, caramel, vanilla, nuts, bakery etc. Also a "fruit" bottle for most everything else. I've been getting some SUPER cheap juices from "the juice broker" and then playing with changing or improving the taste. Tried all the Halo tobacco (they suck - can't believe that is supposed to be PREMIUM juice) For 79¢ - $1.50 each its worth it just for the bottles - most glass with dropper. Guys- remember /r/vapeitforward, too. I periodically list my vapeable experiments on there. Lots of struggling people grateful for any juice. I have them PayPal me shipping and clear out everything occasionally. Www.PayPal.com/shipnow makes it SUPER easy to print labels. $2.50 will cover up to 6 ounces (weight not volume)

I have around 100mls of a strawberryish concoction that has had at least 3 different recipes dumped into it. Its surprisingly good. I'm a lazy mixer anyway though. I end up eyeballing sometimes, especially when adding to a failed recipe to make it vapeable. Since I know the base isn't worth refining, I don't take great notes on the fix.

Lazy mixer is lazy. Keep it up. Great Job! Do it to it! Enjoy your concoctions. Only YOU hold the key to greatness. Have fun. Mix hard. Make us proud. In all seriouznezz, glad your strawberry drizzle is treating you well! Happy ventures!

Yeah, I have one. It tastes like strawberry caramel vanilla butterscotch funfetti cake. It's surprisingly good.

Pretty much everything I make (at least 80%) has a very solid vanilla custard/cream base underneath the main profile, so it all melds together nicely. Sometimes, I'll add some sweetener and pretend it's premium.

It's better than a lot of the "premium" lines I've tried.

'That' bottle is usual the best juice I make

by wh1skeyk1ngover 9 years ago

I don't do that, but yesterday I came up with a recipe that only uses flavors I barely use, or flavors I ordered in a way higher quantity than I would ever need. Keep an eye out for my results within the next couple weeks.

Oh hell no. That shits going right down the drain.

Well I will vape my bad mixes that are just mute or not so flavorful (mostly because I am hoping they magically will explode into the flavor I was trying to mix) But if it is harsh- buh bai. Nope. Not playing with that.

No. Ingredients aren't that expensive to me. I'd rather dump it if it's bad.
