I'm at my wits end. I love MF flavors, but fucking hell they hate staying put. I've tried diluting them in VG, PG, water...every time they rise to the top. It makes them impossible to work with. I'll make a batch of something only to have all the MF sitting on top the very next day. I've stopped short of trying to create an emulsification - like a salad dressing - because shit don't work like that. I'm at a loss.
Any ideas?
Triethyl citrate can help emulsify (dilute and use sparingly), up the PG/VG ratio a little bit if you aren't set on max VG. Posting a recipe would help assess as well, I don't usually have issues with their flavors.
What ratios are you diluting them at? I've read some of them need up to 10:1 dilution.
I would maybe recommend a milk frother, but I don't want anyone to stone me for using one. (It works well for me though)
diluting @ 5:1, but I'm not sure if a 10:1 would help.
Calling /u/vapourdepot.
These guys sell diluted MF as a rebranded concentrate, maybe they can help.
I'm not familiar with this particular brand, are they vape specific products?
Just to make sure, are you sure the liquids aren't containing any oils?
Personally from the other multiple sources I've read I would avoid vaping something containing essential oils, we have plenty of other choices of flavourings. (Really don't see the case as any different than Diacetyl or AP) And one of the ways to test if the flavouring has any oils in it, was that it was separating to the top.
