Nude Nicotine - Wrong order on accident. Am I good?
submitted over 9 years ago by VtotheZ

So apparantly I ordered VG nic instead of PG. I ordered 1000ml of 100mg. I dont really wanna send it back and go through all the hoops etc. Can someone tell me if this will affect anything besides the obvious less VG I will be adding. I have mixed with PG nic for the past year. All I am worried about is a change to the flavor.

Make sure you shake the shit out of it before EVERY use. Nicotine seperates easily from VG.

As said above, shake well. The VG based nic is prone to hotspots, so its most important when you split your nic into smaller batches. Also, you should test your batches every time you open a new one, just to be safe. Again shake well before testing it, you don't want to throw off the test due to a hot spot. Finally, when making juice: shake well, its prone to hot spots. On the other hand, everything is fine if you shake it well. VG based nic is just harder to work with due to hot spots, but the flavour is known to be based on the VG since good nic is tasteless.

it shouldn't change the flavor, just use a calc to make sure that you're still hitting your desired ratio of VG/PG. It's gonna be a lil, uh, thick getting it out of the squeeze bottles though.

He could always get some PG and dilute the nic. Not a bad idea anyways considering its 100mg/mL

I don't dilute 100mg/mL PG nic at all - just store it properly (Boston brown glass bottles in the freezer) and it lasts a really long time. But if I was OP I would dilute it for sure. Just to keep the air bubbles from taking FOREVER to dissipate.

Maybe you don't, but plenty of people choose to.

His nic is all VG though, so diluting it would make it easier to use in terms of less shaking before use and easier to get out of syringes or squeeze bottles.

You will just have to change that in whatever calculator you use. It will adjust your values accordingly.

Just putting it out there, do not microwave the vg nic to make it thinner for mixing purposes. I know this might sound like common sense but, apparently it isn't seeing as its happened. If anything use a warm bath (not hot) for 5-10min. No microwave.

I've used VG nic from them the past few times I've ordered. It's fine if you just shake the shit out of it before you use it. I just ordered PG nic the other day though. Tired of shaking that shit so much lol

I've always used VG nic from Nude and have never had any issues… just make sure you shake it well before each mixing session.

I always purchase the Nude Armor V2 in 100% VG and have experienced no problems and difference in taste. I like mixing high VG ratios, but with a lower concentration of nicotine for safety.

Other than getting tired arms from shaking your mic, you will see no difference in your recipes.

Is there any good way to shake this stuff without my arms going numb lol. Would a ultrasonic cleaner work? Or sawzaw duct tape method lol

I keep it in a fridge so its thick as F when its cold. Dont wanna heat it up at all considering thats the worst thing you can do to nic
