Nicopure Labs, parent company of Halo, has filed a federal lawsuit challenging the FDA deeming regulations.
Also, the FDA has set up a hotline to answer clarification questions about the new rule:
1-877-287-1373
Want to know if you can still DIY for your friends and family? Don't ask here. Call the FDA!
> Want to know if you can still DIY for your friends and family? Don't ask
Better to ask forgiveness than permission IMO.
seriously though. if you call in to ask if such and such is legal, next thing you know there is a provision to stop it
Actually, I don't think they're allowed to add to the rule now that it's been published. It does include a standard severance clause, which means if a lawsuit nuked part of the rule, the rest would remain in effect.
Oh and CASAA is the group that published that number, and suggested asking a similar question to my example, so I guarantee 100 people have already asked that exact question. The bell has been rung.
Edit: spelling
Good! The more lawsuits, the more gummed up these regulations are, thus giving us more time. I'm completely against sue-happy america, but in regards to the FDA, double fuck you and fuck you again.
