Tet5uo's version of Tonguefuck using DX?
submitted over 9 years ago by Redditoactive

Hi, long time lurker here. This is my first time posting in this sub so if I've broken any rules in this post please let me know what I did wrong..

I have a few questions that hopefully someone can help with. I have tried multiple phrases in the searchbar to no avail.

Wall of text incoming..

I've purchased all the flavors to make /u/Tet5uo's version of Tonguefuck but to avoid using anything with DA/AP I ordered all the DX versions along with FA-Meringue FA-Marshmallow and DX-Milk to sub for TFA-Marshmallow, as there was no DX marshmallow in stock.

On to the questions

Has anyone here ever tried to make a DX version of tonguefuck and if so do I need to alter any of the DX flavorings %'s to make it more accurate to the recipe?

Is there any way I could mix or use any of the other three flavors that I bought to recreate a close enough or better flavor for the TFA-Marshmallow and at what %'s should I try?

Lastly, here's the list of all the flavors that I have if anyone has a better suggestion for me using any of these.

Whipped Cream-TFA

Malted Milk-TFA

Brown Sugar-TFA

Fruit Circles-TFA

Crunchy Berry Cereal-TFA

DX Bavarian Cream-TFA

Crunchy Cereal-TFA

DX Sweet Cream-TFA

Strawberry Ripe-TFA

DX Frosted Donut-TFA

DX Milk-TFA

Fruity Flakes-FW

Fruit Rings-FW

Milk-FW

Fresh Cream-FA

Marshmallow-FA

Meringue-FA

If you've made it this far in the post, thank you very much for taking the time to read it all and I'm grateful for any help/suggestions offered.

Try it with the exact recipe, just swapping the DX versions out one for one, and go from there. Most of the DX versions need longer to steep than the v1's, so keep that in mind.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if the DX's are much different than their original counterparts as I've never tried either. Do you think somewhere around 10-15 days is a good steep time for them.

Yeah, 10-15 days is a good place to start. Some of the heavier flavors, cream and whatnot, might need longer but at the 10-15 day point you should be able to tell where the overall flavor is going.

Let us know how it goes! Most of the DX flavors didn't exist yet when I made that.

Before buying TFA's DX stuff i always look at the reviews on BVC and EcigX site , some DX stuff is not very good but some is .

Personally i prefer Capella's V2 stuff to TFA 's DX stuff , and i prefer FA flavorings over both usually as most are diketone free and superb.

Since you're going for the DX and v2 flavors, you should probably also be aware that most flavor west flavors contains questionable sugars instead of sweeteners. http://juic.org/flavors/concerning-flavors/

I had no idea this was even a thing. I'll keep it in mind, thanks for the link.
