Naked 100 Green Blast and Amazing Mango Clones
submitted over 9 years ago by dinning_room_hobo

I get asked to create a lot of clones for different clients and came up with 2 blends that are around 90% there. I thought I would start to share some of these clones I am working on in hopes that a few more vapers enjoy some "premium" juices on the cheap. ENJOY!

#Green Blast#

(TFA) Honeydew-9% This honeydew has an extremely subtle flavor so using it as a base required more than I would have liked usually. At this % it will make your mixes sweet as well.

(TFA)Green Apple-4.5% After trying many apples. I needed a tart apple that didnt add sweetness. This one reminds me of an apple that was picked too early.

(TFA)Kiwi Double-3% Searching far and wide, most kiwis either tasted like candy or were complete dirt. This one paired well with the green apple. It is semisweet but doesnt add enough to overpower the mix.

(TFA)Sweet Cream-2% Tried 8 different creams and came to the conclusion that sweet cream was the winner here. It is milky and complements the mix well vs the original brand.

#Amazing Mango#

(ProBlend)Mango-8% This is an extremely earthy or basically like gym socks. This is needed as a base to bring out all of the non sweet mango elements

(FA)Mango-4% An almost sickenly sweet mango that helps to sweeten up the mango flavors and bring out the ripe taste you would expect in a mango.

(TFA)Juicy Peach-4% This semi sweet peach's notes help to blend the mango and round out the tartness of the mangos without adding sweetness that we will get with our creams.

(TFA)Sweet Cream-4% This is my go to sweet cream. It has subtle sour note that pairs well with a sweeter cream to bring a full bodied profile to a cream

(TFA)Vanilla Swirl-4% This flavoring finished the mix and brought what sweetness needed to be added without sacrificing a full bodied creaminess.

Man that TFA Honeydew %9 is kinda scary

I thought so too, but with it all blended it rounds out with the apple and kiwi. If you used anything sweeter it would suck donkey nuts. I tried it at lower % and it just wasnt right. I usually limit honeydew to 5-6% but the juices base is distinctly honeydew.

Even at 5-6% I can't even imagine. I'm using a Honey Pearry tribute I've created with 1.5% TFA honeydew and it steals the show. I'll have to mix this up and see what happens. Thanks for the recipe though!

I agree. Whenever I put honeydew or cantaloupe in any mix it seems to overpower anything else.

I know for a fact they use CAP Sweet Mango in Amazing Mango.

>(TFA) Honeydew-9% This honeydew has an extremely subtle flavor

Are we talking about the same TFA Honeydew? 'Cause the one I have makes an entire apartment smell like honeydew and tramples all over everything I've tried mixing it with, except for TFA Spearmint (and that was gross, don't do it).

Same one. I generally have to mix 5-6% for it to stand out but the green apple and kiwi really knocked it down on this mix. I was reluctant and raised it in .5% incriments. I was super surprised. Maybe I'm just far too used to it by now as its a go to flavor enhancer that I use at 1 and 2% in other mixes.

Dang. I have it at 8% in one of my recipes along with peach and pineapple, which barely show up at all as distinct flavors, although they do sort of supplement or alter the taste of melon. Interesting how different extracts play off each other.

The double kiwi REALLY tones it down.

What the hell is ProBlend? Have I missed something?

1 points

by dinning_room_hoboover 9 years ago

It's a flavoring company that I use for certain fruits.

by CaptainPrizesover 9 years ago

Clearly. Do you care to elaborate on where one might procure flavorings from this company?

So I've been attempting to tweak on a clone attempt. PiP by Vape Chemist it's supposedly just 12% Philippine Mango from TFA and TFA Cotton Candy 1-2% are you at all familiar? I didn't really think about the peach bringing out more flavor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not familiar but if you start at a .5% of peach it can really bring more to the party with mango.

Good food for thought. Thanks!

This naked 100 green blast is all my friends have been vaping and I gotta admit I like it more than anything I've made. So a few days ago I found this post and ordered 4oz bottles of all the ingredients from TFA. Excited to see how it tastes since nobody else rated OPs recipe I'm a little nervous. But also excited

It comes out pretty close. I'm no magician but it's tasty

UPDATE! After a two week steep it's on point! The tang comes alive! Enjoy your Lava Flow clone. I have a real bottle right next to me and there honestly not a noticeable difference at all! Cheers enjoy CAP sweet strawberry 6% FA Coconut 1% CAP Pineapple 2%

Sooo I was wrong. Tried a new recipe and now can say it's defiantly there. Waiting for it to steep a little more... LAVA FLOW CLONE Sweet strawberry (CAP) 5% Pina colada v2 (CAP) 3% Golden pineapple (CAP) 1%

What the hell is a dinning room?

by dinning_room_hoboover 9 years ago

Dinning-make a loud, unpleasant, and prolonged noise. Its a play off me living in a friends dining room at one point. It was a rough time in my life.

Lava Flow attempt #1 It's super close just missing that "tang" I don't have FA strawberry but that's my next guess

CAP sweet straw. 6% FA Coconut 1% CAP Pineapple 2

No flavor notes?

Post in the monthly recipe thread instead. Link in desktop header, sidebar, or here: https://redd.it/4czfwn

I can give notes..... Didn't realize the rules were this way now. It took me a long time to develop the right mango notes.

I would definitely edit the post with flavor notes -- otherwise your post risks getting removed by the mods.
