Hey guys,
Searching for references for "Japan" gave me links about 2 years old. As we all know the laws can change there. There was some threads about business advice from mainly US Military Based persons. Googling et al all give the same old information as well.
My understanding is that you can buy and sell flavours, PG, and VG there without issue. The issue comes with getting nicotine. My understanding is that you can import it but can't sell it.
Does anyone have any new information regarding the purchasing, selling, and importation of nicotine in Japan?
I ask because I am planning to go there for a year or so to teach English as a break from my regular work. That is after I vote for BREXIT and find somewhere that'll take me.
When I get there and get experience I will post a thread here detailing my difficulties as well as anything else. Give back to the community that helped me, what?
Importing nicotine is a no go to Japan just like I had issues with other nations in the area. If you happen to know someone cool, have them rebottle it and label as sex lube. You can't help what an individual sends you or heck have a cool buddy that doesnt vape receive it for you on base. Being on a base you may get a different set of rules and I would have someone else ask the mail personnel what the regulations are.
You can usually buy small amounts from these guys -- I believe they limit it to 90ml or 120ml or so. Contact them and check.

I live in Japan. I DIY and I I've also ordered liquid from companies to my house so I have recent experience with this. I've managed to get some packages through customs but I had one package not make it.
This is exactly what customs told me when the order got held up. You're allowed to import up to 120ml a month and anything over that will be either destroyed or sent back to the vendor. I'd suggest to keep from having any issues order your nic seperate from anything else. It's going to suck for shipping costs but will most likely save you some trouble with having stuff held up at customs.
