What label printer does anyone recommend to print a well designed label?

So many printers to choose from but I'm having a hard time pinning it down.

Unless you are looking to go balls out crazy, I find some Photoshop skills and avery labels do a pretty good job

We use a regular HP Inkjet printer and use the glossy oval Avery labels. Design, print, spray with clear coat. Works well for now.

Avery Labels or onlinelabels.com - I get my labels from online labels, design them, put them on the template, and bring them to Staples to have them printed in color (my laser printer is only monochrome).

Really good actually. I used them for about 3 1/2 years of DIY. I just bought a labelmaker for my friend sales.

If you want high quality, color labels, you're looking at about the $2000-$5000 range.

That's the price range of Kairo's and Primera's, which both kind of suck, unless you like those sticky shiny labels.

We still print with an inkjet on weatherproof polyester, for far less.

I like the ease of using a roll, i don't want to be cutting my labels at all

I use the Primera LX900. Its up there in cost, but the quality is well worth it.

Obviously its dependant on your design and quantity, but I replace ink every month. I pront about 1,000 labels and my label has a ton of color

Really helps to modify that stupid low ink limit though. Love the printer, but it does seem programmed to try to waste your labels and ink every chance it gets.

If you want the highest quality, you should just outsource to a professional printer. I cant understand why some people insist on dropping thousands of dollars to try and do it yourself, when you can spend far less and get a better product.
