Just thought you'd like to know, BCV has the Cupcake Batter, Lemongrass, Grape, Gingersnap, and Thai Chai on the site now. of course I got the Cupcake, along with Gingersnap and Lemongrass.
I was just about to say don't waste your time with gingersnap. It's muted at 4% & gunks coils within 12 hours.
Dream killer. That sounded so amazing
It smells amazing, but fails to come through in vape form. Maybe after a lengthy steep, but meh. That gunkage, tho.
Damn. I'll see how it is at a lower %, otherwise, gingersnap coffee it is. (edit: it seems to me most of their newer stuff is stronger than most of their older releases. I've had to start them around 1%. just saying that for the benefit of whoever reads this, not you tranceinate. I believe you know what you're doing.)
Currently vaping cupcake batter at 5%. Manson vapes it at 4%. I doubt it was overflavouring/olfactory fatigue.
As someone who dislikes Chai tea, Thai Chai is pretty good. I can ADV it at 3% for about a day and a half before needing to change it up. Not sure what all I'm tasting, except for the obvious chai. The background is almost minty, but not quite.
Grape is amazeballs. Get it. It's somewhat candyish but I also get a very realistic "skin" note. Add it to Mountain Dew & you've got the best grape soda of your life.
Lemongrass is good, but I haven't tested it solo yet. Just as an additive to Lemon Tea.
Lemon Tea, btw, fucking delicious. Same lemon as Lemonade but toned down & not as harsh. Sugary-note, like sucralose, but NOT sucralose. So much fucking better. The green tea notes are great as well.
3% Lemon Tea + 1% Lemongrass oddly starts tasting kind of like Jackster's Cereal Killa clone after 2-3 days. it's weird.
Thanks for this. Yeah, I got Lemongrass thinking it could go in a fruity pebbles mix. I've seen where it (actual oil) was used to make FP scents.
This. One whiff of FLV Lemongrass and I think of the Original Cereal Killa. That dry herbal lemon note.
It's oddly sugary, actually. I think it's more sugary than Lemon Tea. Combine the two & you definitely get this sugary, sticky-lip note that wasn't quite there in Lemon Tea by itself at 3%, but was hanging out in the background some ways away until Lemongrass brought it out.
I used the lemongrass in a lemon cookie recipe. I didnt like it but friend gave it too loved it. Couple others like it really well too. Used it at 1% or lower.
Yeah, it's good stuff. The Tea in Lemon Tea & grass in Lemongrass kind of cancel each other out. Need to retest at .5% mixed with 3% Lemon Tea.
The grass part is what i couldn't wrap i head around. I didn't try as single flavor to test out. i should tho. Im not sure if i canceled the grass part out or if that's what tasted off to me or if it steeped out. The mix wasn't bad and might post the recipe i used up later but it wasn't for me. Been having to much fun with the cupcake batter to play with the other flavors much. I did think about using lemongrass with nonna's cake but haven't gotten around to it yet.
I'll try the Grape in a recipe soon. So far just from testing it in a drink it seems like the flavor is maybe 80% of the way to a really good grape drink. Definitely reminds me of the flavor you get out of those bargain pops that just say "GRAPE" on the side, which is not a bad thing. So it should work great if you want that artificial grape taste that is in a ton of things like that, it's actually close to perfect for a recipe needing that.
I've been looking for a good grape for a pop or candy for a long time now and this seems like it may fit.
What percentage do you mix grape standalone at for maximum erection?
3%, been meaning to try 4% but i'll try that on my next rotation, getting olfactory fatigue from vaping so much grape & drinking so much grape mountain dew; gotta rotate flavours tomorrow.
1-1.5% is a good place in recipes.
also 1.5% grape + .5% boysenberry is pretty fucking good.
Anyone mess around with Cupcake Batter yet?
I've been interested in trying it. Some of the FLV concentrates i've gotten have been lack luster.
Get some. You won't be disappointed. I'm going have to get a big bottle of it soon.
Alright, I got a bottle coming to try it out. What you mixing it with?
The only thing I've got from them that was not what I expected was their Crunch Cereal. Saw a few people saying it was great. It lacks a lot of flavor imo but I was only around 3-4%(worked my way up slowly from way lower - didn't notice much difference), where I would expect an flv flavor to be possibly nearing maxed. I get a little bit of Crunch Cereal but mostly it just makes the vapor feel less dense as I vape which sucks.
Their Vanilla Custard and Butterscotch were really lacking to me. They both are pretty weak and don't have a lot of flavor. They at least don't warrant the price they hold.
Okay I have their Vanilla Custard as well and was a little disappointed by that too. I haven't tried it in many recipes but it wasn't the flavor I expected after seeing others say how great it was.
The price makes you expect a superior product for sure. Taste is always subjective though.
