Well honey pearry is easily one of the best flavors known to man, and the clones of it are pretty good.

  • TFA Pear 5-6%
  • TFA Strawberry 3-4%
  • TFA Honeydew 2-3%
  • TFA Dragonfruit 1-2%

Try that with TFA Honeysuckle in place of the Dragonfruit

And then add some FA Lime Tahiti and you've basically got /u/fizzmustard's Placid clone - my go to fruit flavour.

Is that the cold pressed lime Tahiti? I have all of these ingredients, I can't believe I've never seen this one. I've been looking for a good fruit vape, all of mine kinda suck.

Any experience with subbing FLV wild melon for honeydew?

I know that is extremely specific, but it's the only melon flavor I have beside water.

by elephantrainbowsover 9 years agoOne of "The Damned"

Flv wild melon is more watermelon with honeydew undertones. You won't get near the right flavor but it might not be bad in that mix. The watermelon and pear will be super sweet.

I know it's an old thread, but would i be able to substitute TFA Strawberry with TFA Strawberry Ripe?

by Eizoozover 9 years agoOne of "The Damned"

Maybe, havent tried it, but TFA Strawberry is worth the pickup anyways i have 120mls of both ripe abd normal

I've been enjoying the crap out of CAP Harvest Berry standalone at 4% since I picked it up Saturday. It's really a nice juicy mixture of fresh fruits.

Just tried harvest berries at 4% and it's really good actually! Very blackcurranty

Mine evolved from /u/skiddlzninja's Revised Nana Cream Clone but has changed significantly after seventeen iterations over the last five months. I've been satisfied with the newest version for a few weeks now, so I think I've reached my juice nirvana.

My recipe adds some cactus, citrus, and coconut for a juicy, tangy, and exotic result:

Winterfog's Nana

  • TFA Strawberry @ 7.0%
  • LA Banana Cream @ 5.3%
  • TFA Apricot @ 1.25%
  • INW Dragonfruit @ 1.0%
  • TFA Kiwi Double @ 0.9%
  • INW Cactus @ 0.9%
  • TFA Quince @ 0.4%
  • FLV Sweet Coconut @ 0.4%
  • Cap Harvest Berry @ 0.4%
  • FA Mandarin @ 0.4%
  • TFA Coconut Candy @ 0.35%
  • FLV Pink Guava @ 0.10% (approx. 2 drops per 30mL)

Mix at max VG; mine comes out to ~77% VG.

With or without coconut this is what I'm always finding myself reaching for. Its name is Flamingo and I can't find the author of it for the life of me, sorry about that. I use TFA flavors.

  • 8% Strawberry(ripe works too)
  • 7% Peach(I'm using the juicy one)
  • 3%(1%) Coconut(extra) - optional, I've done it without, but this completes it imho. I think I read somewhere it tastes a bit sunlotion-y for some, but I guess I'm an exception.

by Twistedfexerover 9 years agoProud Sidebar Reader!

Yeah, the suntan lotion thing comes from the tfa coconut extra. It can't be used above like .75% without that lotion taste comming through..

I super dilute coconut extra, 1:10 coconut:pg. It makes adding .25% a shitload easier. You just have to make sure you use ten times the original weight for obvious reasons.

A complete toss up between...

4% FA Pear, 4% FA Vanilla Bourbon, 2% FA Fresh Cream

and

5% FW Blueberry, 1% FA Bilberry, 3% FA Vanilla Bourbon, 2% FA Fresh Cream

Point is, my magically-always-delicious golden back filler for fruits, the de facto if you will, is 3-4% FA Vanilla Bourbon and 2% FA Fresh Cream. Throw in a decent percentage of any ol' fruit in there and you'll get something decent. Peach, raspberry, coconut, lemon, orange (kinda) - they're all great.

But to zero in on your post, OP, I'd choose the Pear one. It's fantastic.

Really boring, but apple. Plain apple. I can Vape it all day and not get sick of it.

I've a range of other flavours which I dabble with but only 10mls at a time.

Others I like are apple pie, apple candy and orange creamsicle.

Fuji Apple by FA standalone between 2-5% is amazing. Just very harsh the first 2-3 days, shake n vape it takes your breath away it's so strong.

2 points

by d_0hmover 9 years ago

> Just very harsh the first 2-3 days

Bingo bango. I specifically bought Fiji because of how everyone seemed to praise it nonstop. Fine, I figured, I'll see what all the fuss is about. Shake and vape at (I think) about 3, 4% and I'm kicking myself. Trolled again, as it would be, you bastards got me.

Checked it again after about a week's steep and it was delicious. So, I stand corrected. It's tasty.

by hannibalateamover 9 years ago

Agree with the flavour percentages, keep them low, much easier to vape

1 points

by BuryMeInSmokeover 9 years ago

What's your favourite apple as a standalone and at what sort of percentage?

I really like FW Green Apple for a candyish fruit type vape, but find it has a nasty sort of astringent-skin after taste after vaping a mL or so - if it wasn't for that I would ADV that stuff.

2 points

by hannibalateamover 9 years ago

I was using Lorann Oils Apple for a while there, which was good. Recently moved to Vapable's Apple, which is slightly tangier but still easy to vape all day.

Percentage wise I use between 5 and 8%, depending on how I feel.

Always find apple flavours can be harsh when there is a high flavour content, i like to keep it a bit more subtle.

by strangeaover 9 years ago
  • FW Kiwi 5%
  • FW Strawberry 5%
  • FW Green Apple 5%

This is my usual adv.

1 points

by Kali2007over 9 years ago

would you say this would be as good using all TFA flavors instead of FW?

1 points

by strangeaover 9 years ago

I didnt have much luck with TFA Kiwi Double or TFA Green Apple. They are both quite a bit stronger. TFA Green Apple is more candy than fruit as well. Candy Green Apple tightens up my throat so I quit using it pretty quick. TFA Strawberry is a great strawberry flavor and Im sure you could sub it no problem. FA Fuji is also good to sub at 3-4%.

1 points

by Kali2007over 9 years ago

Guess I'm adding all three of these to my order and checking it out! What would you say the flavor profile for this juice is close to? Candy-like? Fruity? Is there a sweet or "wet" mouthfeel?

I'm excited to try your recipe!

Summer has just hit where i am, so i've been vaping this a lot. Very refreshing.

TFA Lemon 3%
TFA Key Lime 1%
TFA Orange Cream 2%
TFA Blood Orange 1%
TFA Cucumber 0.4%
TFA Koolada 0.4%

Two of my faves:

HASHTAG YOLO
-- by /u/The_Perrycox

8% CAP sweet Guava
2% CAP Sweet Strawberry
.25% CAP Banana
.25% TFA Banana Ripe
1% CAP Sweet Mango

And the Clone of Betelgeuse (Nicoticket)
-- by /u/mayor-of-whoreisland

Sweet Strawberry (CAP) 6%
Golden Pineapple (CAP) 5%
Raspberry (CAP) 5%
Sweet Mango (CAP) 3%
Sweetener (Sucralose) I used TFA @ 0.50% which is around 3-4 drops per 15ml.
PG/VG Ratio = 65/35 to match the original

And if you want tasty as well as quick and easy, I love this one too:

Mango Cactus
--by /u/Nicobeak

Cactus (INW) 1.50%
Mango (INW) 2.00%
Sweet Mango (Cap) 2.00%

Though I initially subbed the INW Mango for FA - t'was lovely

Me and a buddy have been messing around with this:

1% TFA peach (juicy).
2% TFA strawberry (ripe).
2% TFA watermelon.
2% TFA jackfruit.
2% TFA dragonfruit.
3% TFA blueberry (wild).

With or without 3% koolada.

So far we found you need to keep peach lower or it overpowers the rest, watermelon and blueberry are getting harder to find in the taste. Maybe adjust watermelon up? Blueberry seems good at 3%. We add koolada because it gives a nice cooling feel like good fruit on a hot day

7% Fuji

3% Kiwi (double)

5% Coolada

It's a quite refreshing fruit vape, pretty simple bur I like it.

2 points

by BuryMeInSmokeover 9 years ago

Holy shit, 5% Koolada!

3% is like vaping Antarctica for me.

Have you tried lowering it a bit? Even at 3% I've found it can do some weird things with other flavours.

3 points

by TheGodfather_1992over 9 years ago

I like it at 5%, but of course it's really subjective.

1 points

by call_of_cthulooover 9 years ago

What other flavor do you think could be swapped for the Kiwi? I've got fruits for days and somehow haven't picked that one up.

1 points

by TheGodfather_1992over 9 years ago

Tbh I'm very new to diy, and that's the only recipe I've come up with. Can't really think of another ingredient, but I'm sure someone else here with more experience will have an idea!

EDIT: and I can't even remember if I came up with it completely, or just adjusted an existing one, sorry if I stole someone else's credit.

1 points

by call_of_cthulooover 9 years ago

That's alright! I figured I would ask since I haven't toyed with any Apple flavors very much at all. Hopefully you're enjoying the foray into DIY!

Kiwi is a difficult fruit to swap out because it has a unique flavor. But seeing as strawberry and kiwi go together, strawberry and apple doesn't sound far off.

Edit: Sorry had to reword this, "it doesn't sound far off" Thats not true, it does sound very far off lol. What I meant was it seems like it would be a suitable falvor to swap kiwi out for

1 points

by Ephelusover 9 years agoProud Sidebar Reader!

I'd sub in pineapple. Apple and pineapple just go really well together for some reason... But I also have a bit of a pineapple fetish. It's in the majority of my recipes, even if at only .25-.5%. If I really want to taste it instead of using it to brighten and sweeten the recipe a little, I generally try it at 2% and go from there.

1 points

by Twistedfexerover 9 years agoProud Sidebar Reader!

I can't see kiwi double @ 3% getting through 7% of fuji..

I've used fuji as high as 4% and it was almost to much..

Then 5% koolada is guna kill some flavor as well.. You can acheive the same amount of coolness with 2%. At 5% you're going backwards and could mute everything quite a bit.

If you like it as is by all means keep doing your thing. But you could try mixing;

  • Fuji - 4%

  • Kiwi double - 3%

  • Koolada - 2%

And you'll get about the same results.

Thank you a lot for your suggestion, I will try this next time I mix!

1 points

by d_0hmover 9 years ago

That's a lot of Koolada. You're a brave soul.

1 points

by TheGodfather_1992over 9 years ago

A lot of people have commented this. Now I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my Koolada as it isn't that strong at 5%.

1 points

by d_0hmover 9 years ago

Maybe diluted? I went in search for the mintiest mint I ever could mint about six months ago and had my run in's with anywhere between "woah, too much" and "Jesus this is unvapable, WOW."

I add koolada literally by the drop. So, maybe sounds like yours is diluted down a bit. Vendor? Brand? (I ask because I've seen it advertised as 'Coolada' before, wondering if that's a key part of this.)

  • 8% TFA Ripe Strawberry
  • 5% TFA Apple
  • 6% TFA Juicy Peach
  • 3% Coolada

i just love this so much! apparently it's a clone of TNT ice by timebombs i think?

I just mixed this up over the weekend. It's very simple, but a pretty tasty result in my opinion. You might want to refine it to taste.

  • TFA Strawberry 7%
  • TFA Mango 7%
  • TFA Dragonfruit 7%

Mine is a newly found mixture I saw on here with my own little twist. I forget who posted it but it was called Dragons Breath

  • Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA) - 1% (this is my twist, the other person used (TPA) Bavarian Cream at 3% and I didn't have any at the time.)
  • (TPA) Strawberry (ripe) - 5%
  • Dragon Fruit (TPA) - 2.5%
  • Juicy Peach (TPA) - 7%

I really dig this Mixed Berries with Pear and Lemon Ive been working on. Current recipe sits at

  • FA Bilberry 0.5%

  • TFA Blueberry Extra 3%

  • TFA Blueberry Wild 3%

  • TFA Blackberry 1%

  • TFA Raspberry Sweet 3%

  • TFA Pear 2% (I cant say how much I freaking love this flavoring)

  • FA Lemon Sicily 1%

I like to keep it simple with fruit flavors for the most part. These are two of my easiest mixes that I can vape all day without getting tired of it.

Wapple
Watermelon LA 10%
Green Apple FW 3%

Ocean Water
Lemon Lime CAP 10%
Coconut FLV 1 drop per 30ml

My favorite all-day fruit vape is a clone of Strawberry Astronaut, very smooth with a tang kick, love it:

  • TFA Strawberry 10%
  • TFA Apricot 3.5%
  • TFA Mango 1.5%
  • TFA Pear 0.5%

The Pear smoothes out some of the Apricot harshness but it is truly optional if you don't want the extra tang from the Apricot (it is strong).

No steeping, just mix (well) and vape like there's no tomorrow.
