Cookies & cream?
submitted over 9 years ago by mikarmPâtissier

I have a juice by artisan vapor (Colorado company) that's cookie and cream ice cream which is good but I'm having a really tough time creating something similar.

I know FW makes a flavor for this but I haven't seen others. Anyone tried FW's? When the wick is wet I get a strong Hersey's chocolate syrup taste with some creaminess, as it gets dryer I get mostly what tastes like FA Cookie, then after that it's kind of a funky cream taste that is like Cap VBIC. So either FW cookies and cream tastes like those flavors or the company didn't use it.

Made several recipes so far with tfa and cap vbic and cap is definitely better, to me anyway. Have FA cocoa and will be getting in FA chocolate (heard it tastes like chocolate syrup when blended right with cocoa?) And also an flv chocolate flavor.

Right now I'm just trying to lock in the Oreo type flavor and then I'll move on to the rest. Does anyone have any experience making a cookies and cream juice, or similar to an Oreo? Saw an Oreo recipe on ELR but it had a lot of flavors in it for a simple cookie.

Tldr - Yes I've searched and this isn't that long.

FW Cookies and Cream sucks, phew. Stay clear.

I've had a lot of hit or miss flavors from them so that doesn't surprise me.

Glad I posted before I bought it. Would've been nice to just have a flavor that worked though.

You'll have to create your own brah. Chocolate, cracker, hint of vanilla and tons of sugar is your aim.

RF Cookies and Cream (PG-free) is really dry chocolate cookie with a hint of vanilla. I have only had it two weeks and haven't played around enough but it definitely has a future in chocolate cookie recipes.

Oh I think I have something by them, blue raz.

That's been one of my biggest issues, making a "dry" cookie. Everything I try ends up chocolatey but it's definitely missing the right taste. I'll look into them, thank you. The hardest part is the cookie. I feel like if I can get a decent cookie the rest should fall into place.

Someone said adding a very tiny amount of peppermint helps make an Oreo. I'm just not sure about that.

Never tried that but I can see how it might add some flavor confusion to come off as more oreo-like. The dry cookie has always been the issue since chocolate tends to add a moistness not found in real Oreo taste perception.

Is there anything else you'd recommend grabbing from Real Flavors when I order? Something you feel they do a pretty good job making. I might try some of their bakery stuff. Their blue raz was good but I haven't vaped it, only tasted it in a drink.

This was my favorite flavor from that company, things I took note was it tasted like an Oreo mc flurry or shake.

I think your right on the money with ice cream being CAP vbic and FA cocoa with FA chocolate lead to the start of a chocolate flavor similar to chocolate ice cream.

It's the only flavor I've tried from them and it was great. I don't usually buy juice but good cookies and cream is tough to find for some reason. It murders coils and wicks though.

Based on how people described fa cocoa and chocolate together it seems to be the taste I'm getting. I think if they do use cocoa it's very low. Once I find the right chocolate taste the rest should be easier. I wish I put fa chocolate in my last order.

TFA Chocolate (Clear) was used by Wayne awhile back with a My Dude (Remix) to get that chocolate flavor.

I'm interested in this flavor because those Hersey's Cookies-n-Cream drops are my shit.

I have tfa double chocolate clear but it isn't the chocolate taste I'm looking for. I'm going to try the real flavors cookies and cream, if it's a dry chocolate cookie taste then that's perfect.
