I love little calculations, some of which are more or less important than others. Super cool to track stuff :) This wasn't just about cost, it was about what i have and how much i have of it and how awesome each flavoring is.

I use excel too. I have a really nice multi-page layout I made a couple weeks ago that auto updates as you enter a recipe on 1 page it takes out the ingredients you used (based on # bottle and size) and alerts me when I'm running low on flavors.

This is the application I'm using now for all my mixing and inventory management. DIYJuiceCalculator

It's got a low/moderate learning curve, bit it's pretty full featured, including a batch cost breakdown like you have listed in your spreadsheet. It will even keep track of your remaining inventory if you enter amounts received and can notify you when you don't have enough of an ingredient to complete a batch or are running low on an ingredient.

Honestly the only feature that I wish it had is some sort of automatic online price and inventory scraping mechanism to help me putting together orders of ingredients. Anyway, I highly reccomend it if you're running windows.

Curious question, what website do you use to get your flavorings? I ask because you didn't include shipping in your calculations ahha. And also those prices are better than bull city vapor so I might jump ship!

I just invested about 300$ in my diy startup kit, them prices look a lot like what I paid Wizardlabs for my flavors.

Not the OP but that looks like ECX pricing for the TFA stuff. I just ordered quite a bit from BVC, ECX, Gremlin and FLV and they all were close but some brands were definitely better pricing than at others.

I made the same thing, but I added shipping costs to the flavors. EG: if I bought 10 flavors that day, and it cost me 5 for shipping, I would tack on .50 cents a bottle.

Vapor Lab does this as well, plus I like the inventory system. While still early beta I can keep track of how much of something I've used. Local storage was my big reason to switch though.

Sidebar, Recipe Calculator does that for you as well. It's pretty comprehensive, in that it keeps track of your inventory, exact cost per mix, and allows you to enter notes for each individual ingredient as well.

Like your spreadsheet, these are cool facts to keep track of and have at your fingertips.

what was your final, altogether cost to produce a liter of flavored ejuice? [or you mean the $80 for the finished-product liter takes those supplies into account?]

It cost me 80 for supplies. I would guess to make a liter it would cost me around 30$ if no nic. 10$ for vg 10pg and like 10$ flavor (the estimate is high probably much less in actuality)
